Article published in the New York Times Magazine dated September the 21st, 2008:
    “Building Block
    A Street in Paris's 18th Gets Haute

Trendy streets are slow to form in Paris, which makes the one-year evolution of the rue André del Sarte an overnight sensation. The blocklong strip, bookended by a bank and a leafy cliff below Sacré-Coeur, had been home to mostly art and graphic design studios, but now boutiques and restaurants are moving in. The transformation was kick-started when the folks behind the popular area restaurant La Famille opened Chéri Bibi (No. 15, 011-33-1-42-54-88-96), a hipster canteen that serves simple food and turns into a party after dessert. At about the same time of night at No Problemo, on the corner (14 rue Charles Nodier, 011-33-1-42-54-39-38), the house tartare gets pushed aside to make room for live music. During the day, shoppers will find shoes and clothes from independent labels like Gaspard Yurkievich at Ysasu (No. 19, 011-33-9-50-58-67-81), as well as Béatrice Knoch’s gold and silver jewelry next door at No. 17 (011-33-1-42-57-97-09). And this month, the street gets its official stamp of coolness when A.P.C. opens a space at No. 20 that will sell past seasons’ collections — perfect for the neighborhood’s budding bobos. The A.P.C. designer Jean Touitou, who has a nose for all things emerging, said of the new location, ‘‘It’s a part of Paris that I’d never thought about before. I was walking around by accident and found it beautiful.’’ CHRISTINE MUHLKE

      Absolutely Lovely!

Left on 05/07/2013 for a stay in May 2013

I stayed in the smallest room (Esri) and everything was perfect! The owners were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was more spacious than I expected and was spotlessly clean, with all amenities one could need on a short trip - even a Nespresso coffee machine and good wifi. Very quiet as well, despite being in a busy area, with a lovely courtyard.

The location is Montmartre, which is a personal choice. It's close to many restaurants and very 'vibey', but also exceptionally 'touristy'. The people who sell things to tourists can be quite annoying and the area is very clean as a result of all the tourists. Transport to the city centre is quite easy on the metro (closeby), and very close to the train station, so overall not a bad choice of area - just a matter of taste.

More than lives up to its name - an Oasis in the midst of Montma

Left on 04/27/2013 for a stay in April 2013

Just enjoyed three sunny days - the perfect 'Paris in the springtime' holiday'. We were spoilt from the minute we arrived by the owners Helene and Jean-Louis; beautiful, peaceful setting surrounded by lovely plants in the walled garden; access to the private swimming pool. My partner and I stayed in Nino studio and my brother and his wife in Iris room - both spotlessly clean and provided with everything you could need from spare towels and robes for the pool to drinks already in the fridge. Paris-Oasis is ideally situated close to the Gare du Nord for Eurostar and has excellent access to all buses and metro stops - what more could you want? We stayed in Lucie Loft 4 years ago and having recommended the accommodation this time to family members we would have no hesitation both to returning again in the future ourselves and to recommending it to other members of our family and friends.

      Wonderful gem in Montemartre

Left on 04/04/2013 for a stay in March 2013

My kids and I stayed in the Liette Suite, my father in the Ersi room. Our suite was wonderfully confortable and well appointed. The Bignons went out of their way to make us comfortable, even helping to fix my son's glasses when they broke. We were there over Easter, and they brought a chocolate fish for my kids and a bottle of champagne for my dad and I. After a long day, the hike up the hill from anvers was a little tiring for us, but we needed the exercise and it was very scenic to walk past Sacre Coeur everyday. A very good boulangerie was at the end of the block, and a Carrefours supermarket was around the corner for us to buy anything we needed. My children enjoyed using the pool when we had time, the Dvd's that were provided and I enjoyed looking at Helene's lovely garden. Staying at a hotel is so much less of a personal French experience. Highly recommend, also recommend the brasserie when you come out of anvers metro station, and Gigi's on the corner of Rue del andre Sartre. Don't know how our visit to Paris could be any more memorable, and a big part of that was staying here.

Simply the perfect place for a family to stay in Paris!

Left on 01/29/2013 for a stay in January 2013

We booked and stayed at Paris-Oasis for four nights in January, and it was the ideal place for us and our three boys to stay. Everything was easy: the booking was straightforward, the maps and directions to the apartment comprehensive and accurate, and the welcome (with a *great* cheese platter and bottle of wine) was warm!

We used the apartment as a base to explore the city (boys hadn't been), and it's close to the Metro, a Tourist Office and Sacre Cour/Montmatre. Makes it very easy to get around to all the attractions.

The kitchen is beautifully appointed with everything you could need (including coffee machine), and going down to the boulangerie a few doors down in the mornings for croissants is a great way to start the day!

The boys used the swimming pool to relax after a hard day walking the sights, while we watched on and shared a glass of wine with the hosts. Very pleasant!

When we find our way back to Paris, we know where we'll be going to stay... no question.

Paris Oasis really is an Oasis

Left on 10/20/2012 for a stay in September 2012

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Paris Oasis. Helene and Jean-Louis are wonderful hosts, full of information and willing to make restaurant reservations. The Lucie Loft is very comfortable and well equipped with full cooking facilities, dishwasher, and coffee maker with an endless supply of coffee (something we really appreciated). The big flat screen TV had access to many programs in English. We also appreciated the plentiful supply of soap, shampoo, and towels, things which we found lacking in other similar types of accommodation in France. The Montmartre location is close to restaurants, and supermarkets, as well as two metro stations and a fifteen minute walk from the Gare du Nord. Overall a great stay.

From the moment we asked about availability to the day we left, we couldn't have received better service. Madame Bignon sent very helpful instructions about getting to Paris-Oasis and greeted us on arrival. We were shown the beautifully appointed studios we had booked and given helpful information such as the local boulangerie, Carrefour, restaurants, Metro stations etc and map. When we booked tickets online, they were happy to print them off. We couldn't have asked for more. Paris-Oasis lives up to its name.

This was truely an oasis. It was nice to just sit back, relax, nd watch a movie after a long day of treking around Paris. We found it to be very nicely located for all that we wanted to see. Our only regret was not staying longer. Our two teens enjoyed having some space of their own. The hospitality was off the charts. Hosts were very helpful with directions and suggestions. We would deffinitly stay here again.

Paris Oasis; It should be a closely guarded secret

Left on 06/23/2012 for a stay in June 2012

I recently had an all too short a stay at Paris-Oasis. My first few days were in Lucie Loft followed with three days at Liette Suite. Liette Suite was very good but Lucie Loft had the ambience and truly embedded the feeling of finding your own little Oasis. I was happy just being at Lucie Loft knowing I was in Paris; I didn't need to be in a rush to get out there! The loft is suitable for both a family holiday as well as a romantic getaway. The whole facility is maintained at a very high standard; I hope all guests treat Helene and Jean Louis's home with due regard. Helene is an ardent hostess; ever helpful with a consistently friendly and professional manner. Having access to an in-house laundry, pool and courtyard garden made the Paris Oasis experience even better. Travelling with two teenage boys there was plenty of washing to be done and plenty of energy to be burnt in the pool. I could go on and on outlining the positives of Paris Oasis but really the only way to test my theory is to go there yourself! Happy Holidays.

A truly home away from home experience

Left on 05/17/2012 for a stay in May 2012

My husband, our adult daughter and I stayed at Paris-Oasis for 5 nights.

When we arrived, we were warmly greeted, and we had help to get our luggage to our apartment, and even an offer to have a meal with them.

The apartment was spacious, with a well equipped kitchenette, and the necessary condiments for cooking own meals.  The fridge was stocked with can drinks, and best of all was the Nepresso coffee machine with coffee capsules for our stay. A complimentary bottle of wine was available.

Helene and JL believe in providing the best quality for its guests.  The towels were thick and nice. Helene offered to do our laundry, and she took the trouble to re-do the washing as our daughter left tissues in her jeans, and there were fluff all over the rest of our laundry. On our last night, we were greeted by a bottle of champagne to toast our stay in Paris.

Paris-Oasis is only short stroll to the Sacre Coeur. It is close to the subway stations, and grocery stores and bakery is just round the corner and restaurants nearby. The apartment is well secured, and once inside, it is a totally different environment.

What I like best about Paris-Oasis is the thoughtfulness and care taken by Helene and JL to put together every thing to make our stay there a truly home away from home experience. They are true ambassadors for Paris!

One has to take care not to hit the sloping ceiling of the loft at the lower end. Also, if one gets out from the Chateau Rouge station, know which way to get back to Paris-Oasis, otherwise, or one might end up walking through a neighborhood of busy african community.

Ps. Helene called the taxi driver to let me know I left my camera behind. When we got home, Helene already emailed, and she kindly agreed to send the camera by post to us.

What a treasure to find this place. I was traveling to Paris on business with 2 colleagues, and we came across this listing, so we thought we would try it. We arrived in Paris at 8 a.m., and we were welcomed with an amazing reception by a very gracious hostess, who even served us breakfast and coffee as a welcome. Though the room of my colleagues were not ready, mine was, and I was able to have access, and they held the bags of my colleagues until the room was available. Before we set out for the day, our hostess insured we had maps directions and answers to any questions or recommendations we had. The rooms were attended on a daily basis. When we departed, I forgot my dress pants. Madame Bignon immediately emailed me (even before I knew they were forgotten), and offered to send them to me. What a pleasure to stay where one is so welcomed while you are there, and even after the bill is paid and one has left. I have already recommended this place to several colleagues from all parts of the states. Thank you Madame and Mousier Bignon (and Lucy too), for making our stay better than we had ever hoped for. Oasis in Montmartre

Left on 01/03/2012 for a stay in December 2011

Paris-Oasis is a guesthouse in Paris divided into a number of quite independent and individually and creatively decorated studios. It is owned and run by a French couple, the Bignons, who are exceptionally hospitable and courteous but also completely unintrusive. They will provide as much or as little help as guests require. Helene speaks excellent English but will of course speak French if you prefer. The rooms are equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a Nespresso machine (even I could work it) and plenty of coffee. While there are plenty of eateries in the area, the kitchenette is well equipped if you choose to prepare light meals, which is good for a longer stay. The bakery a few doors down is very good, and there are two supermarkets close by. The metro is not too far a walk. Rue andre del Sarte has two restaurants and an asian cafe, we tried No Problemo which was very pleasant and reasonably priced for a relaxed meal. Takeaway from the asian cafe was good too. The shops in the street are interesting and inviting. We especially appreciated the hosts' kindness in making available to us one of their studios on our last day as our plane was departing much later than anticipated, together with a bottle of champagne. I chose Paris-Oasis from internet reviews and the glowing recommendations were entirely borne out by our very enjoyable stay.

The Paris Oasis was the most amazing place to stay if you are going to visit Paris. Helen was the best host. She even offered to make us a sandwich and gave us a glass of wine after arriving from our long flight. The property is beautiful and well located. There is an amazing bakery on the corner and is a short walk to the subway. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. We were often out very late walking around and visiting the local bars and restaurant and never had any worry. The personal care that you get here makes it far superior to any hotel. Having such helpful host that spoke perfect English made getting around town and making dinner reservations a breeze. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Paris housing for a three generation family!

Left on 06/16/2011 for a stay in June 2011

As a three generation family of 7 with three teenagers, we needed living space for an 8 day trip to Paris. The Oasis was perfect! The Luci Loft slept our grandchildren and their parents comfortably. The kitchen, TV, and compartmentalized bathroom all added to the ease of their sharing this space. The corner bakery and grocery store were only a block away and there are two metro stops within an easy ten minute walk. Helene's hospitality is extraordinary. She responded promtly to emails when making the initial reservations and throughout the visit she went the extra mile to make our visit enjoyable. We were welcomed with a beautiful food tray and wine. The children swam each evening in the pool while the adults drank wine and ate goodies from the corner bakery in the beautiful garden and courtyard. As the grandparents, we rented Helene's neighbor Valerie's studio apartment in the same building which gave us some privacy while being immediately adjacent to our family. Again, Helene helped make those arrangements for us. The apartments are well-furnished and equipped (kitchens, hair dryers, etc. A cleaning service was provided on the 4th day. The neighborhood is safe and the proximity to Sacre Coeur, Montmarte, and abbesses was great. We had fabulous meals thanks to Helene and Valerie's list of neighborhood restaurants. Staying at the Oasis will be a delightful, cost effective, convenient way to enjoy a vacation in Paris. I can't imagine a more hospitable host than Helene. We will definitely return on our next trip.

The room was just perfect. The bakery 3 doors down had bread for sale every morning at 7:30...just in time for breakfast. It was very easy to get anywhere in Paris we wanted to go with the Metro and there are many stops close by. Dewey was our hostess and she was very accomodating and helpful. I would highly recommend Paris-Oasis to anyone staying in Paris!

Rooms were secured with three locks.
Subway stations were located within walkable distance.
In addition to various amenities and services advised on their website, they had some starter beverages in the fridge, and they lend me an adapter for my cell phone, which helped me a lot.

      Cons:
Wifi signal was weak that I couldn't really get online.
The Ersi room's shower room is quite petit.
      The room was rather dark.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left Helen and Jean-Louis made us feel like we were guests in our own home! The place is spotless and the Iris room had everything we needed. Compact but every inch was used well, with a lovely garden all to ourselves.

The shower was fab and it was really nice that we had the option to have food in if we wanted with kitchen utensils and a microwave. There were plenty of shops around to go to if we needed food too. The pool is an added bonus if you want to take a swim after a long days walk.

The advice given by our hosts was brilliant even if we didin't ask for it they were there to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The weather was fab so that helped, and being a stones throw away from the Sacre Coeur is a bonus.

Would definately recommend this place to any friends thinking of coming to Paris.

      Fabulous

Left on 03/29/2011 for a stay in March 2011

This site is aptly named - it is truly an oasis. Down to every detail, Mme Bignon has made these apartments comfortable and a place to relax after navigating the many, many sights of Paris.

The location is at the bottom of the "butte" of Montmartre on which stands Sacre Coeur. It is on a side street but the apartments are located in the back and it is very, very quiet. The apartment we stayed in was just right for my 22 year old daughter and myself and we stayed there for nearly 2 weeks. The kitchen is unusually well stocked with knives, excellent cook ware, a confection oven, marble counter tops, and large refrigerator -- all looking out on an elegant garden. In our apartment, there was one bedroom and a murphy bed that was in an alcove in the other room. Even the sheets were comfortable and beautiful! The bathroom has heated floors and a towel warmer (now I want one) as well as a shower that you don't want to come out of ever.

Mme Bignon was there with an answer to any question and her hospitality made the trip even better as we never had to worry about where to find something good to eat or whether we could get tickets to something. We would arrive home from a hectic day and there would be opera music playing in the foyer as we ascended to our apartment - just another perk of renting from the Bignons.

I would not hesitate a minute to rent this apartment.

I had the perfect stay at Oasis. Helene and Jean-Louis were very nice and helpul. They always have their doors open for guests. I stayed in the Ersi Room which was nice but neat. Perfect size for single travelers with all necessary amenities and more. They really go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. It felt like home away from home. There is even an indoor pool that guests could use. Moreover, the place is located in a very trendy and safe neighborhood right by Saqre Coeur. During the warmer months it must be beautiful, there are plenty of relaxing opportunities in the house and the garden. The house is conveniently located with several metro stops close-by. The Paris-Oasis is perfect for first-time visitors and people that just want to live in the city a little longer to explore Paris further. It is a fantastic value and a true gem that will charm you in the city of love. I am looking forward to coming back very soon.

We arrived very late with 5 children, in a foreign country with little food supply and jet lagged. Our beautiful hosts Helene and Jean-Louis arranged fresh pasta for the children and the most delicious cheese platter, french bread, wine and local mandarines fo us!
It was ideally located in historical Montmartre and within easy access to transport to all of Paris' attractions, and walking distant to brasseries and supermarkets. Helene had maps and directions, restuarant suggestions for when ever we needed them.
Our children all enjoyed the indoor heated pool to warm up after our big days adventures around Paris. Helene continued to spoil them with traditional Kings cake and other treats.
The accommodation was extremely comfortable with every need met, from shoe shine to internet and we would highly recommend families or couples to stay there. We had a wonderful time and look forward to revisiting.
      Safe travels!

      Parisian Perfection!

Left on 01/06/2011 for a stay in December 2011

Helene & Jean are the perfect hosts. They go beyond other hotels and guesthouses with their service and hospitality. We spent New Years Eve in the Iris Room and it was fantastic. Helene and Jean even went out of their way to provide champagne and macaroons to help us bring in 2011 in comfort. The location could not have been better, we were walking distance from great restaurants, cafes, Sacre-Coeur and the Metro. From start to finish staying at Paris-oasis was the best decision we made in Paris. My fiancee and I look forward to an opportunity to visit again!

Lovely quirky and cosy guest house with very helpful warm staff

Left on 12/23/2010 for a stay in December 2010

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paris-Oasis and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. It was clean, cosy and quirky, with all sorts of interesting art and little surprises scattered around. The host and hostess were very helpful and friendly. We did not need any food as there was a great boulangerie just down the road. Overall a wonderful place to stay!

      Family Oasis in Paris

Left on 11/07/2010 for a stay in October 2010

Our family of four stayed at Paris Oasis for one week. During our 2 months of travel through Europe, it hasn't always been easy to get accommodation that suited us all (my husband, myself and 9 and 12 year old children) but Paris Oasis definitely did! The Lucie Loft was stylish, clean and spacious - we all loved it and were extremely comfortable for the duration of our stay. Gorgeous linen on the beds, thoughtful supplies in fridge when we arrived (milk etc) and most importantly, incredibly welcoming friendly hosts. As we speak no French, it was a joy to stay with Helene and Jean Luis who both speak excellent English and were so very kind and welcoming to us and our children. The heated indoor swimming pool was an absolute winner with the children and the Montmarte location was perfect for sightseeing. I would highly recommend Paris Oasis to anyone needing a self contained apartment in Montmarte and would come back again to stay in a heartbeat!

Warm, welcoming, artistic "home" in Paris

Left on 10/28/2010 for a stay in October 2010

We've only been back one week and we have already recommended Paris-Oasis to family and friends for their vacations. My husband and I stayed in the Liette Suite with our 9 year old and our 6 year old, and it was the perfect home base. Being able to cook meals (in the well-appointed kitchen) saved both money and time--and touches like the automatic espresso machine were delightful. What a pleasure to have original art on the walls, plus an exercise pool and garden. It's on the same street as the steps up to Sacre Coeur. And we have never met warmer and more welcoming hosts than Helene and Jean-Louis (who helped us with everything from finding a family friendly restaurant that served escargot to helping get our luggage into the taxi for our early morning flight out!). We will be coming back for sure!

      An Oasis in Paris

Left on 10/17/2010 for a stay in October 2010

We have just come back from staying at the Paris-Oasis in the Iris room and cannot speak highly enough of it. The room is very comfortable and has all sorts of nice 'touches' to it like heated towel rack, lovely toiletries and plastic packaged towels. The garden with 2 separate sitting areas was lovely and the pool, although small was like an oasis in the heart of the Montmatre area. Helene and Jean-Louis were around if needed but kept very much to themselves and respected out privacy.

      An oasis in every sense

Left on 09/14/2010 for a stay in September 2010

Well, I am going to gush like everyone else. The Bignon's are in a class by themselves. They are the most welcoming innkeepers/hosts I have ever come across. We stayed with them for three days in the Lucie Loft which had everything we could have needed with plenty of room for the four of us (two adults and two children). The room was airy and atmospheric with 4 skylights and multiple windows overlooking their luxuriant garden. Our kids enjoyed the indoor pool and my husband and I enjoyed the peace of the garden while the kids played. But as all the others have stated, it was the owners who made it so special. Mme. Bignon insisted on hanging all of our laundry because we just had to go out and see Paris, "Paris is not a laundry machine!" and then one evening as my husband and I were sitting in the garden, she appeared with glasses of wine and little slices of sausages. Oh, and the first night, Mme. Bignon thought I might be dressed too lightly and loaned me a shawl to wear. Really, where do you find people who make you feel so special?? And we really liked being a little out of the hustle and bustle of Paris - it was an easy Metro ride or a really quick taxi ride away. And it was lovely to be in a residential area where you felt like you were living in Paris, even if only for a few days.

A great place to stay in Paris

Left on 09/12/2010 for a stay in September 2010

For a first trip to Paris and having no prior knowledge of accomodation in the city I don't think we could have picked a better place to stay. Our hosts were so helpful and provided us with all the information we could have wished for. Our room was well appointed, comfortable and very clean. I have no hesitation in recomending the Paris-Oasis as a place to stay.

The best for families in Paris!

Left on 08/08/2010 for a stay in July 2010

I really can't say enough about Paris Oasis-- truly, it provided the warmest, kindest, most gracious stay I have ever had in Paris. I was there with my husband, my two children (6 and 3) and our nanny and Helene did everything to make sure our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. The kids loved the pool, which is the perfect size for young ones and provided much-appreciated refreshment for the adults during a Paris heat wave! The garden is other-worldy, with the most beautiful flowers you have ever seen and all of this is tucked back (as is common in Paris) in buildings behind lock and key (and code!) so that our young family felt very safe and protected. It is very quiet at night (unheard of in Paris!) and is within comfortable walking distance to a lovely touristy area near the Sacre Coeur, riddled with restaurants/cafes and carousels. Helene would surprise us with bowls of fresh raspberries or cherries and prepared an impromptu bread and cheese plate for us one afternoon (restaurants close promptly at 2:00 and the children were hungry! I was able to do our laundry and the suites worked very well for the nanny and children (we had them stay in the Lucie Loft and the Liette suite on the opposite ends of our trip. The Liette Suite has the added benefit of a door between the bedroom and the living/kitchen, but both are lovely). Having a kitchen is so helpful. Our room, the Iris room, was just beautiful and it was nice to have our privacy. Oh, and kudos for the Magimix Nespresso machines-- they make absolutely wonderful coffee. We plan to get one her in america now! Thank you, Helene and Jean Louis, for your lovely home. We will be back!

We came from all over (England, us, Sweden, Slovakia) for a family gathering and set up in the Lucie loft - very artistic, lots of light and Quiet! Modern bathroom, super shower, well equipt kitchen, not that we did much cooking. Boulangerie for croissants and baguettes two doors down, another around the corner, also close are two supermarkets for your wine, etc. Short walk in the other direction to the side steps to Sacre Coeur. Pool and garden are great after a day's touring. Our hosts could not be more helpful, agreeable, "gentile", do ask for tips.

Only superlatives to describe this B&B. A nice and warm welcome, an amazingly beautiful house full of art and arty furnishing. A fantastic garden, on warm days it must be a resort(during our stay the weather was a bit cold..). The bakery next door has good croissants, and the fridge is basicly equiped to have breakfast. Good coffee machine! A fine clean bathroom, a huge TV, internet acces, and for us important: good large beds. The location is perfect, Montmartre seems the place to be for young and fashionable Parisians. Nice shops, terrasses and restaurants. Helene took care of us nicely and advised us well.

Cosy, welcoming comfort steps from Sacre Coeur

Left on 04/27/2010 for a stay in April 2010

Being delayed from returning home because of a volcano eruption was
stressful and certainly unexpected, but my resulting unplanned stay at
Helene Bignon's Paris-Oasis was so warm and welcoming the stress just
melted away. Helene is a wonder, making me feel instantly at home. Coffee
and tea were at my fingertips, with milk, and cold drinks in the little fridge-
-a candy jar even--and a great boulangerie just on the corner. 100s of
television channels (including BBC and CNN in English) and a comfy
adjustable bed were perfect when my feet needed an hour of rest before I
hit the Paris streets again. There are several patio and deck areas so I could
read or enjoy an aperitif in sun or shade--or even swim a few laps in the
      enclosed heated pool.

The sunset and spectacular views of the city of Paris are literally steps
away--5 minutes and you are at Sacre Coeur. Most of Paris is within easy
reach, either by the nearby metro or by just putting one foot in front of the
other (which is what I did).

Helene and her husband Jean-Louis were always ready to ensure my stay
was perfect--offering advice on things to do when asked, supplying maps
and guidebooks. Helpful, yet not intrusive.

I will definitely be returning to Paris-Oasis. I hope it will always be my first
stop when visiting Paris! And next time I will plan ahead (volcanoes
permitting) to ensure there is a room awaiting me.

We had a great stay at the Lucie Loft. Helene and her staff were very helpful and hospitable. The home is very stylish and clean. The heated pool was great for the kids after a long day of sight seeing. The location was good, a really good baker just a few steps away and the metro is a short, scenic walk.

We'll plan to stay in the Lucie Loft on our next trip to Paris.

      Great hospitality and lovely flat!

Left on 04/06/2010 for a stay in February 2010

Our family of 4 stayed in the Liette Suite. Helene and her partner are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome, ensuring we had everything we needed and giving us a local map and restaurant suggestions. The suite itself is beautifully decorated and maintained and we appreciated access to her indoor pool, as well as little touches like pool towels, beverages, internet access and movies on DVD as well as satellite TV. And an adjustable bed!

The location is very convenient to two Metro lines and the Montmartre neighborhood is charming. The flat is just yards from Sacre-Coeur. We made good use of the well-equipped kitchen after picking up groceries at the nearby shop and bakery. For being in the middle of many others it was surprisingly quiet. There was absolutely nothing we would change and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Paris.
