The 8th arrondissement is home to the Avenue des Champs-Elysées, probably the most famous avenue in the world. This is a district where the celebrities of fashion design, painting, cinema and theatre are born.
This impressive promenade stretches from the Place the la Concorde to the Place Charles de Gaulle, the site of the Arc de Triomphe.
Its western end is bordered by cinemas, theatres, cafés and luxury shops. Near the Place de la Concorde, the street is bordered by the Jardins des Champs-Elysées, beautifully arranged gardens with fountains and some grand buildings including the Grand and Petit Palais on the southern side and the Elysée at its northern end.
The Champs-Elysées is the main site for all Paris' major celebrations. This is where Parisians celebrate New Year's Eve and where the military parades are held on the 14th of July. Historic national events, like the Liberation at the end of the second World War or the victory in the World Cup are also celebrated here.
The 8th is also home to the Arc de Triomphe, and close to the Trocadero and Palais de Chaillot, Madeleine church, Concorde Plaza, the Palais de la Decouverte, Petit Palais Museum, and the Grand Palais.
Evenings in the 8th mean a dizzying selection of restaurants and French brasseries, and famous shows like the Lido or the Crazy Horse.
For those coming to Paris on business, you'll be near several business centers, such as Porte Maillot, La Defense, and not far from the Charles de Gaulle Airport and Orly Airports.

We recently returned from a fabulous vacation in Paris--a vacation made all the more enjoyable by Welcome 2 France and our accommodations at the Gabriel Penthouse. From the moment we arrived until the moment we departed, the staff at Welcome 2 France did everything they could to make our vacation perfect. We arranged to have a driver pick us up at the airport upon our arrival in Paris. The driver was waiting for us when we arrived. He was professional and courteous. His van was large and clean and could comfortably accommodate our party and all of our luggage. The driver was in communication with the Welcome 2 France staff during our drive from the airport to ensure that we would be greeted upon our arrival at the apartment. Alicia met us at our apartment to check us in, give us a tour of the apartment, and explain the various features. The check-in process was quick and easy. Before leaving, Alicia gave us her contact information and said we could contact her at anytime during our stay. During the week, we sent alicia a few questions via email; she always promptly responded to our questions.
The Gabriel Penthouse was great!! It was beautiful, well appointed, spacious and very clean. The apartment was exactly as advertised, in both the pictures and the related description. You can sit on the sofa in the evening, look out the window and watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle away--what an awesome sight!
When we return to Paris, we will contact Welcome 2 France for our accommodations. We would be thrilled to, once again, stay at the Gabriel Penthouse. We are now convinced there is no better way to travel then to find accommodations as lovely as those that we had in Paris. -

The apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable- with wonderful views. The location was very convenient- and so much fun at the holidays with the Christmas fair so near by. The Welcome2France team were fantastic. The greeter was well informed, very gracious and extremely responsive. We would highly recommend them and would definitely come back to Gabriel.

This apartment is a definite splurge, but worth it. The views are stunning. Small, adorable park right across the street. Close to us and British embassies, down the street from Presidential residence, pretty cool. Across the street from Laurent - fantastic restaurant. Surrounding streets are full of galleries, high end shopping and very good restaurants. Walking distance to most of the major sites in Paris. A/C came in handy during our stay. Super giant walk in closet; it must have been a bedroom at one time. Bathrooms were well outfitted, with hair dryers in both, tubs in both, etc. Good lighting. Alicia, our greeter, was a delightful young lady and hooked up our wi-fi in an instant. The elevator is so teeny, we opted for the stairs most times! Quiet building. Just loved it.

A stunning, spacious apartment with exceptional views. In a gorgeous building, and one of the most elite areas of Paris. Masses of space, beautifully decorated. Great electronics, TV, internet etc. Very quiet. Two large bedrooms with ensuites. Plus extra toilet. Kitchen is a little small and a little dated. We would stay again.

We enjoyed the beautiful view day and night from the living room and both bedrooms. Great space in each different area of the apartment. Peaceful building, and easy access to the best commercial streets of Paris, Montaigne avenue, Rue de St. Honore and Champs Elysees. We would love to be back!

Everything was exactly as advertised or better. The online booking went smoothly. The transportation arrangements were perfect. The greeter was friendly and helpful. Everything in the apartment was clean, comfortable, and in good working order. Checkout was quick and painless. The only surprises were good ones. View is amazing. I've been to Paris four times but this was my first stay with this agency and my best stay. Based on this experience I will definitely be a repeat customer for my next trip to Paris.

Very clean,spacious elevator apartment with excellent technology available, and amazing views of Paris skyline, especially La Tour Eiffel. Beds and linens were super comfortable, dressing room a real plus. Drawbacks were kitchen equipment and function, instructions for using stove were not complete, no knife for cooking in kitchen, stove needs repair, toilet paper needs to be provided along with paper towels. I only mention the paper products because as a tourist it is very inconvenient to find those supplies and cart them back to the apartment. Hot water supply was limited for an apartment of this size. Staff were helpful and courteous.

The pictures on the web are beautiful, but it wasn't until we arrived that we realized the pictures don't do it justice. The place was big and beautiful and clean and comfortable.
Everything in the house was clean and in perfect working order. From the showers to the kitchen to the internet to the balcony we just relaxed and enjoyed.
The greeting and checkout staff were polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. They made us feel welcome.
All my previous trips to Paris have involved hotels. All my future trips will be with Welcome2France as this was far and away the best accommodation ever.
