Palo Alto, CaliforniaA Home You Don't Want to Leave
Left on 02/10/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We arrived in Paris near the end of several weeks traveling throughout Europe. It was only a few minutes walk inside the train station from our train down to the metro, and several minutes later we emerged on to the beautifully lit, lively Champs Elysees. After only a two minute walk, we found alan at the entrance to the building. He happily greeted us, helped us upstairs, showed us everything we needed, and we settled into what became our secret get away for the next three weeks. We had been hoping for a very quiet retreat where we could totally relax, sleep late but also find ready access to all the beauty of this marvelous city. We weren't disappointed! This beautiful, quiet, brightly lit apartment is spotlessly clean, fresh, with attractive furniture and decorations, plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. It is also secure and the most quiet place we have ever stayed. It is miraculously within easy walking distance of almost everything we wanted to see in Paris: shopping, museums, restaurants, churches, the Seine, and best all the vibrant street life. At night, we slept as well (if not better) as we do at home. Multiple groceries and bakeries are very close, so every day was a banquet, whether we ate at home or outside. If we were cooking and discovered we needed something, a five minute trip downstairs to the grocery solved the problem. One day we noticed that the kitchen sink was draining more and more slowly so we called alan on his cell. He asked if it would be ok with us if he took an hour to arrive. It was of course, and we were amazed, as we thought we might wait for several hours. But he was there within minutes, cheerful and efficient, and the problem was solved. Although we stayed there during January, we were always completely warm and cozy inside. We are ready to return to this Paris home any time summer or winter, and we hope it will be soon!

I enjoyed an absolutely magnificent stay. Beyond the apartment's fabulous amenities, gorgeous and spacious interior, and terrific location, I cannot give enough high marks to the owner of the apartment (Ghassan) for his always prompt and detailed responses to my inquiries and his overall helpful nature. I look forward to renting from him again and cannot underscore enough how the entire rental experience is enhanced by such helpful and responsive owners.
The apartment itself is lovely. It is situated on the 6th floor of a building just 1 block away from the Champs Elysees and a short walk from the arc de Triomphe in the 8th. The local agent who handles check-in and check-out met me on time. He had been in the apartment in advance of my arrival to place fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, and wine glasses on the dining room table. It was a wonderful welcome.
The apartment is spacious with a full kitchen & modern appliances (fully stocked with cookware, dishware, & glassware plus pantry items). It also has a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. There is a powder room off the living room and a separate en suite bathroom with a bathtub/shower. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and the sofa in the living room has a pull-out queen bed. There were plenty of linens and towels, plus an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, and umbrellas. I will post photos of the apartment on the Facebook page for the apartment. Cable TV, wi-fi, and phone are provided.
There are 2 metro stops just a short walk from the apartment: Franklin Roosevelt (Lines 1 and 9) and Saint-Philippe-du-Roule (Line 9). A Monoprix is just around the corner for convenient grocery shopping, and a Franprix is even closer. There are plenty of neighborhood bistros, boulangeries, and other restaurants, and Laduree is no more than a 5-7 minute walk from the apartment on the C-E!
You can't go wrong with this apartment. It is exactly as described, and the owners could not be friendlier or more helpful. -

Left on 12/30/2012 for a stay in October 2012
First of all, Mr. Ghassan is very professional when making the reservations of his apartment unit. After signing the agreement and making payment via Telegraphic Transfer, we arrived in Paris on the 10th of October. His assistant was waiting to help us bring our luggage to the unit.
The apartment unit itself is not totally accessible by elevator and requires to climb a short set of stairs but that is totally acceptable due to the tight living conditions and real estate price in Paris itself.
The apartment is located at Rue de Ponthieu, one street behind Champs Elysee where most of the action are. The best thing about this street are that there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and supermarket located just below it. We had takeaways and an asian cafe serves a set lunch for only 8 Euro which was a steal considering Parisian standards.
Now the unit itself is fully furnished and has everything that you could think of including a loaded kitchen with spices and condiments, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine with dryer, satellite tv, a good wifi connection, a land line to call radio cabs, room with a queen size bed, clean toilet with plenty of toiletries and etc.
We thoroughly enjoyed the unit and hope to visit Paris again soon. -

This apartment ticks all the boxes, but what gives it that extra is that it just feels like a home, not a rental. The owner is friendly, attentive and helpful. the apartment is a great size for 2 couples. A separate toilet allows easy sharing. The larder is full of all the essentials. Very secure with password entry to foyer then swipe key security door to lift. If you want to Live in Paris instead of Stay in Paris - This is the one!

This is a beautiful flat in an excellent, central location, one block off the Champs Elysees in a wonderfully Parisian style building. The apartment is next to a supermarket and within easy walking distance of three different metro stops. The flat itself is very well appointed; washer/dryer, dishwasher, AC, and lovely furnishings. The owner could not have been more accommodating and the process to gain access to the flat was seamless. We wish we could have stayed for many more weeks!

Left on 07/17/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We had a perfect visit to Paris staying in this apartment. Ghassan was the ultimate professional, very responsive to my inquiries by email. Everything went smoothly with regard to payment, deposit, check-in and check-out. Unbelievable value, as it would have cost us twice as much to stay in two rooms in a hotel, and yet I felt that it was nicer than any place we could have stayed.
The apartment's open floor plan was spacious (for Paris) and had every amenity that we could have wanted. It was light and bright from many windows, and though it was in the 8th arrondissement, it was quite quiet on the sixth floor. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen were very clean. The decor was modern yet seemed Parisian which helped make our trip feel authentic! The kitchen was great -- having two small kids with us, we were able to make quick meals and keep some groceries in the fridge.
We found the apartment to be reasonably child-proof (we moved a couple of breakables), with my favourite amenity being the modern-style beds -- no sharp corners and low to the floor in case of a tumble off the bed. Dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning... all unexpected but a welcome treat during our stay. A grocery store downstairs and a larger supermarket just a few minutes' walk away were also very convenient. Handy to public transit; several metro stops are a short walk away. I found the apartment to be very safe and secure.
Many thanks again for a lovely stay; we would come back in a heartbeat, or stay at the Louvre apartment location without a moment's hesitation! -

Thank you for providing such a wonderful apartment in a perfect location for us to enjoy. We've only just returned home and are already missing the late evenings in Paris and the ease of the apartment location so close to the centre. Our children were also crazy about the apartment and already are looking forward to returning.

Good morning Ghassan,
We are home, my daughter is back in school, and life is returning to normal. It certainly helps that it's a lovely Spring day, but nothing compares to lovely days in Paris. Your assistant helped us settle in, your place was perfectly situated near the Champs Elysee, the grocery store next door was incredibly convenient, and your apartment was lovely.
Again, thanks for a great place. Everything went smoothly. No problems and your apartment was perfect for us.
Happy Spring!

Abu DhabiPerfect apartment off Champs Elysses
Left on 01/01/2012 for a stay in December 2011
This apartment was the perfect home base for our 10-day stay in Paris over the Christmas holiday. It was situated a block from the FDR metro station and right off the Champs Elysses. There was a very nice grocery store right next door and a lovely bakery down the street (not to mention several cute little restaurants nearby).
The apartment itself was just lovely! The living room area was beautiful, as well as comfortable. We could tell the owner put a lot of thought and effort into making this apartment very inviting. We loved coming back to the apartment after a day of walking around the streets of Paris and enjoying a relaxing evening sipping wine and having a meal. I couldn't have imagined a better place to stay in Paris.
We had friends who were staying in a nearby hotel over for Christmas dinner. They were very envious of our apartment as they had paid more for a cramped hotel room with few amenities and no charm. We already knew we had made the right choice, but it was certainly nice to have it confirmed from people we know.
We had practically everything we could want in the apartment in the way of comforts. The only suggestion I would make is to have an ironing board in addition to the very welcome iron. :-)
Great, great place and perfect location!!Response from Ghassan K - 01/04/2012

Thank you, and it means a lot to know that you enjoyed your stay there. We had all of your interests in mind when we decided to buy this place, renovate and furnish. The location, size, amenities, and overall Parisien feel.
We would love to have you back, at the Champs Elysees or our other apartment next to the Louvre.
We will add the ironing board as it is also there at the Louvre apartment :-) -

Left on 11/26/2011 for a stay in November 2011
For any Parisian holiday, this is the ideal flat! When you live this close to the Champs Elysees, you are close to all of the city's attractions. Our stay was comfortable; the flat is accommodating and conveniently located by the Metro Roosevelt stop. We had everything we ever needed or wanted either in the flat or just outside our door! The flat is on the courtyard side, a charming and quaint neighborhood. This made it very easy to get a good rest at night and wake up for a great day of sight-seeing and shopping. There are many lovely restaurants within the neighborhood, and even more places to eat, sit, talk, and shop on the Champs-Elysees. When we first arrived, the local manager greeted us very warmly, showed us around the flat, and made us feel welcome in the city. The owner was very professional and agreeable to work with for any arrangements. We would definitely come back to stay here in the future -it made our Paris experience that much more unique and incredible!
