The decorative wall paneling, parquet floors, and stone mantle pieces create a magnificent Parisian ambiance. The entry hall gives way to the fully equipped kitchen/breakfast area and 1/2 bath on the left; three bedrooms and a full bathroom straight ahead; and the ornate dining room, living room, and last two bedrooms and bathroom. Once an independent village, les Batignolles still retains its peaceful ambiance. It also has an artistic history, attracting French icons such as Paul Verlaine, Edouard Manet, and Jacques Brel. The neighborhood is a sanctuary in the city; you'll love relaxing in the Square des Batignolles and shopping at the local markets. Other sites and neighborhoods or Paris are easily accessible through metro lines 2, 3, 8, 13, and 14. Montmartre, the Grands Boulevards, the Champs Elysees, and Place de la Concorde are within just a few metro stops.
