Additional Location Information
The lively quartier of the4th arrondissementaround thePompidou Centre, known as Beaubourg, also offers much in the way of visual art.
To the north of the Pompidou Centre numerous commercial art galleries and the odd bookshop and salon de thé occupy the attractive hôtels particuliers of narrow, pedestrianized rue Quincampoix. Halfway down the street on the right is the delightful, cobbled passage Molière, with its quirky shops.
South of the Pompidou Centre, rue Renard runs down to the Hôtel de Ville, the seat of the city's government and a mansion of gargantuan proportions in florid neo-Renaissance style, modelled pretty much on the previous building burned down in the Commune. An illustrated history of this edifice, always a prime target in riots and revolutions, is displayed along the platform of M° Châtelet on the NeuillyVincennes line.
Closest metro: Rambuteau (line 11), Etienne Marcel (line 4); close to Chatelet-Les Halles (lines A, B and D of the RER).

Alessandro was friendly and in formable .The apartment was clean and perfect for a week stay in Paris, had all the comforts of home. The best part was to live like a Parisian. Easy access to restaurants and grocers. Convenient to all transportation. We were able to walk to most major sights. When planning our next trip we will definitely use Halldis again.

Ideally placed apartment to enjoy the culinary and cultural delights of central Paris. Reasonably spacious, well equipped and quiet despite being in a very cosmopolitan area very close to the Pompidou centre. High speed internet connection to tell your Facebook friends what a wonderful time you are having. Lots of character as well - but watch out for low beams.
Service ok but did not appreciate being fined 20 euros because of long delay waiting for Taxis at Gare du Nord meant we were late in arriving.

Manager
Dear Alistar,
thanks for your positive feedback, we're happy that you enjoyed the apartment.
We understand your complaint about the extra fee. Unfortunately we need to have certain rules because the delay of a client often means that we have to quickly find (and pay) someone else to make the check in for the next client, maybe on the other hand of the city. In any case we'll report your complaint to the city manager and we will take it into consideration.
Kind regards,
Cecilia

Temecula CaliforniaWell located studio apt
Left on 06/20/2012 for a stay in May 2012
I stayed four weeks in studio apt 442 and found the apt very well equipped, clean, and central to much of central Paris. It was about a five minute walk to the Seine, a short walk to Le Marais, about 20 minutes from the Louvre. Much of Paris could be seen without using the metro or buses. The location was obviously its major advantage; its biggest fault was that the bedroom is in the loft and the loft ceiling is very low so that anyone of more than average height has to duck while walking in the loft area. The agency rep, Alessandro, was extremely helpful in setting up the internet (which is not wireless) and the cable TV/remote. He was easy to reach by cellphone.

It's an ideal apparment for holidays for someone who wishes to stay in the centre of Paris. Secured place in a nice neighbourhood. Very close to one of the biggest metro/rer stations.
Check in and check out took place as aggreed with no delay. I would choose it again for holidays in Paris. -

Canberra AustraliaGreat location, poor maintenance
Left on 11/07/2010 for a stay in October 2010
Central to Beaubourg, Les Halles and Marais, fantastic location. Interior court of building quiet and roomy. Let down by poor maintenance and difficult to use kitchen area. Freezer unusable as it hadn't been defrosted for years. Crammed with ice and its door couldn't close, in fact it fell off. Many lights didn't work which made the place gloomy, especially in the loft, despite large windows. Only two wine glasses both cracked and unusable. Tea towels were dirty and much of the crockery also needed cleaning before use. Paint was peeling off the bathroom ceiling. This apartment needs major maintenance attention. The Halldis representative, Daniel, was superb and tried very hard to rectify most of the problems. He was extremely pleasant and very punctual, replacing some of the dirty and broken utensils promptly.

Great Location for walking and sightseeing. Several blocks from various Metro Stations. The apartment is small, but contains all the necessities. The bedroom/loft level has very low ceilings (if you're 5ft tall no problem, if you're 6ft tall be sure to duck). The radiators were on, even though we closed the valves and it was very warm in the apartment. Opening the windows helped, but the loft bedroom was hot (in May).

Ottawa, CanadaEasy accessibility
Left on 08/12/2010 for a stay in July 2010
Apartment was in an excellent location, easily accessible to the metro and easy walking distance to restaurants and tourist sites. Apartment opened into the courtyard and not the street, so it was quiet at night. A little small for a family of 4, but fine for a 3 day visit.
