SydneyParisian for a week
Left on 02/06/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paris at Le Marais "archives". Organising the rental of the apartment was simple and communicating and dealing with Thierry was a pleasure. The apartment was comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. It was great to be in a wonderful old building with an outlook onto the bustling street below. The location of the apartment was fabulous - being close to many of Paris' major attractions as well as excellent shopping, cafes and restaurants. We walked nearly everywhere! The metro was close by too for our trips to other areas of Paris.
We really felt like Parisians for a week! -

SydneyGreat location
Left on 01/13/2013 for a stay in December 2012
We stayed in this 2 bedroom apartment for 5 nights in December. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 kids aged 10,8 and 6.
The apartment was located in a great area of the Marais. It is moments to the metro, a short walk to tourist sites such Notre Dame and Hotel de Ville. It is most convenient to small supermarkets and boulangeries. We also felt very safe here. We never felt like we were in a touristy part of town.
We needed to use the sofa bed...which turned out to be very easy to set up and quite comfortable.
The apartment is not huge...normal for Paris. The kitchen is also small...but more than adequate for us to prepare our simple meals...we were on holiday so never attempted anything too fancy.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor which must be accessed by lovely old stairs...not a problem for us...but just be aware if older or difficulty carrying your bags. The heating worked well.
We had no problems getting our keys nor getting our deposit back.
We would happily stay here again. -

Rochester, Minnesota, USAGreat Paris apartment for a family
Left on 11/02/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We recently returned from our family trip to Paris. There are 5 of us and this apartment accommodated us well. The location was outstanding (you could see the towers of Notre Dame from one of the windows.) The neighborhood was safe and it was close to a grocery, many restaurants and the Metro station. It was very clean. The kitchen was great for quick meals and the washer/dryer allowed us to pack light for the trip. Much better than staying in a hotel. We would not hesitate to stay here again. The staff that met us to check us in and out were very prompt and helpful and the owner was very pleasant to work with.

Vancouver, BCLocation amazing, but tight for 5 adults - and needs a good clea
Left on 09/24/2012 for a stay in August 2012
This was a family trip to France and Germany (five adults and a 10-month old baby), with Paris being our first stop, and I want to start by saying the booking, checking in and checking out processes were very well organized and exceeded our expectations - the young woman who met us and went through the apartment providing explanations about how things work was especially welcoming and helpful! I certainly agree with all the reviews that stress what a great location this is - we walked everywhere, including visiting the Louvre for a couple of hours in the morning, returning to our apartment for lunch, and then heading back for a couple more hours. There was a lovely restaurant right across the pedestrian street, and a couple of markets and boulangeries were within a few minutes' walk, as were the Ile de France and Ile de la Citie. The bedrooms were small but comfortable, with large windows and good air circulation (although keeping the windows open at night in our bedrooms was not possible, as the apartment is located on very, very busy and noisy streets - there were 2 fans, which were indispensable). The pull-out chair in the livingroom was a good place for our 20-something daughter to bed down, but many of the closets were either locked or full of odds and ends, so it was a bit of a challenge tucking away our belongings. The small kitchen was well-equipped with a large (by European standards) refrigerator and a dishwasher, and the dining area in the livingroom was a pleasant, comfortable place for our breakfast croissants and evening charcuterie and wine. Traveling with a baby meant that the availability of laundry facilities was much appreciated (and much used), and there was even a baby bath provided. We did have a few problems and concerns, though - the apartment is in need of maintenance, including a full paint job and some serious cleaning. The door knobs to the toilet and the main bedroom routinely came off in our hands, a couple of light fixtures need to be repaired, and the walls (especially around light switches and door knobs), were really dirty, as was the kitchen floor. I suppose we were more aware of the lack of cleanliness because of our crawling baby, but we're not talking huge spaces here (the kitchen floor took me a total of 20 minutes to scrub, rinse and dry - something that really should be done between every rental). Problems aside, this was a comfortable stay, and the location was fantastic - so it is recommended, with reservations.

This is a small apartment, but did sleep 6 of us! It is in a great neighborhood with lots of cafes and nightlife. We loved having the Louvre, Notre Dame, and the Seine River all accessible by foot. The metro is right outside the door. The flat was clean, and the rental company was "right on the ball." We would use them again, and even stay here again if the opportunity came up.

We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at Thierry' Le Marais Notre Dame apartment. We were a family of 7, 4 adults and 3 little girls, 9, 7 and almost 3 and the apartment was perfect for us. It is very well equipped and although a 3rd floor walk up, even with a stroller, didnt find this a problem. Thierry was very prompt answering any questions we had prior to arrival and check in and out were easy. The location is great and within the street are boulangerie, many restaurants and a hit with our family, an ice cream shop where scoops are made into flowers. Walking distance to many tourist places and all in all a wonderful vacation for us.

Left on 07/12/2012 for a stay in June 2012
My husband and I stayed here with our 2 daughters and had a wonderful stay in Paris. Everything went very smoothly - and this was my first time renting an apartment in Europe so I was a little nervous. Monique met us with the key and was a pleasure as she took her time explaining everything to us. The apartment was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The second bedroom was perfect for our 2 daughters. I did read about the stairs so that wasn't a surprise, but they are very old and uneven so be careful if you are wearing shoes that have a heel! The bathroom is very small, but I expected that too. All the appliances worked well - we used the washer dryer several times as well as the dishwasher. We loved the location which made walking to sights much easier. Much more character in this 400 year old building than any hotel could offer! There is one odd design in the kitchen which forces the top microwave cabinet to open every time you open the fridge and then you have to seperately try and close it. We never did understand that as it seems simple to change. (minor thing, but odd, nonetheless) Great stay overall!

This apartment is spacious and so well located--just a 5 minute walk to Notre Dame, a two-minute walk to the Pompadieu Center, a 15-minute walk to the Bastille, and is right in the heart of the Marais district. Actually, we walked everywhere or took the Batobus (premium sightseeing on the river), rarely having to use the very economical subway system. The apartment itself is on a 3rd level walk-up, very secure within a building that requires a code to enter, and has great views looking down onto two fantastic cafe's on the alleyway, then the main drag on the other side. It's in a lively section of the district, but with windows closed one gets a quiet night's sleep. The apartment is well decorated, clean, has a W/D and dishwasher, stove top, coffee maker, all the amenities one needs. Note to parents of small kids: it also has a stroller!
Thierry and crew provided a wonderful stay for us at this apartment, starting with the person who greeted us at the apartment even though our plane was an hour late, and throughout our two week stay. The entire staff was accessible (when I nearly broke my ankle one day I received a quick email back for clinic directions by Veronique), and the owner Thierry couldn't be nicer or more accomodating. If we return to Paris we will definitely stay with Paris Interiors apartments, and recommend this apartment, and this company, to anyone without reservation. -

We recently stayed in Thierry's Marais Notre Dame apartment in Dec 2011 during the busy Christmas/New Year period. We are a family with two teenagers.
The apartment was exactly as described and shown in the photos. Very comfortable and inviting. It is centrally located within walking distance of many Paris attractions and also conveniently just one block from the Hotel-de-Ville Metro stop (in case you don't feel like walking).
There are many good dining options close by and two supermarkets only 50 metres away for anything else you may need.
The service from the property managers (Veronique and Camille) was first class and helpful. We had no issues and they were always quick to respond to our queries.
The apartment is on the third floor of a busy street/area, but well insulated from the street noise below. You can open a window and feel 'part of the action', or close up and have a comfortable sanctuary. -

We really enjoyed our stay in the Notre Dame apartment! It was cosy for 5 people, but had all that we needed. it was so close to everything that we walked everywhere! very handy having supermarkets and restaurants close by and fantastic boulangerie's too! The big washing machine and dryer were a Godsend. Only downside was the small, old toilet and not much overhead lighting. Beds very comfortable and warm. Would definitely stay there again.Greeting by Camille was great, and she was knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks again, Mary

The location was amazing and experiencing the Marais style of Parisien living for a short time was fascinating.
One of the downsides of living in the middle of a lively part of a city is the noise, but that is unavoidable (and would be less of a problem in colder months when you would not need the windows open).
Veronique was fantastic! Very available and helpful.
We liked your apartment a lot. The toilet is a bit difficult for tall people like me and one of my sons but I'm sure you already know that! Having stayed in a smaller hotel in Paris before we appreciated the bathroom size and having a living room we could all sit in together (not that we had much time to do that). -

We had a wonderful time in Paris and this beautiful apartment contributed to that. We loved everything about it. The view was amazing, the size was perfect, the beds and furniture were comfortable, and the location could not have been better. We felt completely at home there. We were in the center of everything. Notre Dame is visible from the front windows, the Louvre is a 15 minute walk, and the Marais is full of wonderful architecture and galleries, shops, cafes, and restaurants (some of which are directly in front of the apartment building door). There was a Metro stop 2 minutes from the front door. The owner was very helpful with providing all information we needed prior to our trip and the concierge service was very flexible to be certain to meet us at the apartment on time. I hope that apartment will be available for our next visit to Paris.

This apartment is in a great location, with a view of Notre Dame, and in the middle of an energetic neighborhood. The beds were comfortable, and having a washer and dryer in the apartment was a great convenience. Working with Thierry made the planning stress free, he quickly responds to all emails and concerns.

Five of us (me, my wife, sister, brother-in-law, and a friend) stayed in this apartment for an 8-day visit to Paris. It was truly a pleasure to find a place where the on-line description matched the reality. We found the apartment to be perfect for accommodating all of us comfortably in a central location, with easy access by walking or Metro to the sights of Paris. The check-in staff was friendly and helpful, the place was clean, and the amenities (handy kitchen, washer/dryer, wifi, TV) made our stay even nicer. The corner location and the large windows bring in a lot of light, giving the apartment a bright and airy feel. While we ate most lunches and dinner out, the two markets right down the street and the patisserie around the corner facilitated breakfasts in the apartment and a few light dinners of cheese and salad. Everyone in our group agreed that we couldn't have asked for a better "home base" for our stay.

The apartment was nice. We slept well and it was very quiet. It is very suitable for families or small groups. The owner was very helpful, professional, and reasonable. The facilities are very good and enough of everything was provided. The location is excellent, with a number of good shops within 100 metres. Notre Dame is not far away and the Louvre is well within walking distance (about 15-20minutes). We particularly liked the small patisserie right across the road where we went to get coffees and breakfast. There are two well stocked grocery shops nearby as well. All in all, a very pleasant apartment. Good service, no issues.

Left on 01/17/2011 for a stay in December 2010
My husband, two young children (4 and 7) and parents stayed here after the Christmas Holidays and it was divine! The location could not have been better and the apartment itself had everything we needed. We ate a leisurely breakfast at the large dining room table every morning from food purchased directly downstairs and had dinner each night at nearby restaurants. Although my parents are older, the winding staircase was not a problem. The concierge service met us at the airport and for less than the cost of two taxi's brought us right to our door. The dryer was not working and someone came out immediately to check it. Although it could not be fixed immediately, I received a prompt email informing me of that. I highly recommend staying at this apartment if you want to have access to all of Paris right at your fingertips!

I wanted to thank you for facilitating our stay at the lovely LE Marais Notre dame apartment in Paris. We were delighted with the property. The location is outstanding. A short walk to charming shops, Notre Dame, the river, and wonderful restaurants. The apartment is spacious, filled with light due to its corner location and glorious windows, and offers every convenience. And the butler could not have been more gracious. It was a memorable stay.

Party in Paris!
Perth, Western AustraliaA dream come true!
Left on 12/14/2010 for a stay in November 2010
Location: excellent - right where you would want to be! Cafes, supermarket, shops - just outside the door.
Access: excellent access to trains, buses and the river or walking distance to anywhere you want to go!
Every step outside the door was the epitome of the 'parisian' experience!
Apartment: very comfortable & clean; bedrooms good size and good storage; kitchen adequate for meal preparation; bathroom/laundry - quite big actually (and a great drying room); lounge/dining - good size (even with the sofa bed in use) but perhaps need more mirrors with lights (girl thing)! Didn't feel boxed in as there was plenty of windows (with great views); quiet (Autumn time) - didn't hear neighbours
Owners: very informative and helpful; provided all the right information
Security: felt very safe
My dream was to have my 50th Birthday in Paris! My mum (77), sister (52), niece (21) and daughter (6) were all there and the apartment just topped it off. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paris and appreciated the fact that the apartment was a lovely place to come back to at the end of very hectic day. -

Situated in the middle of Paris life - cafes and history all around yet very quiet within. Wonderful. Very well decorated and all modern conveniences. Great coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer as well as lovely rooms and bathroom. Toilet, though separate, was very small.
The only downside was the spiral staircase to get to the apartment. A very unfit or elderly person would find the four flights a challenge.
