4th Arrondissement (Ile de la Cité/Ile St-Louis & Beaubourg) -- It seems as if the 4th has it all: Notre-Dame on Ile de la Cité, and Ile St-Louis and its aristocratic town houses, courtyards, and antiques shops. Ile St-Louis, a former cow pasture and dueling ground, is home to dozens of 17th-century mansions and 6,000 lucky Louisiens, its permanent residents. Seek out Ile de la Cité's two Gothic churches, Sainte-Chapelle and Notre-Dame, a majestic structure that, according to poet e e cummings, "doesn't budge an inch for all the idiocies of this world." You'll find France's finest bird and flower markets along with the nation's law courts, which Balzac described as a "cathedral of chicanery." This had been a one in a life experience and it's all thanks to avenueStory! This lovely, very chic and spacious apartment was everything we hoped for. We had a lovely time doing the Marche d'Aligre Tour with the wine, cheese, beautiful pastries and delicious chocolate. Not to mention the color and vibe of the market itself. We will surely be back next year to explore some more!

Thank you so much for everything! The apartment was great our daughters loved their own bedroom and ours was so peaceful and secluded. The kitchen was perfect and all facilities were very welcomed even though we didn't really use it that much. The brasseries and restaurants were the reason we wanted to be in Paris in the first place! We didn't expect to see the Eiffel Tower in the distance either! The area was lovely too, overall a truly Parisian experience we will never forget.

We stayed for 6 nights. My family and I appreciated the view on the Seine and the Eiffel Tower in the distance too! The apartment itself was fitted very well, and met our expectations as it was described in the ad. Many places to visit around. Especially in the 5th and 6th arrondissement. The metro station is almost showing at the main entrance of the building. Thanks to the team for their kindness. We will come back!

Very nice and confortable apartment. We particularly enjoyed the nice view on the river. The location is really central. Easy to walk from the property to Ile Saint Louis and to Note Dame Cathedral and the Marais. We loved the Market tour also!!! A special thanks to adrian who welcomed us in Paris and was so helpful with all his advice for us.
