The Apartment

This lovely apartment will have you impressed even before stepping foot inside. Rue Quincampois is one of the most chic and cool streets in Paris, just around the corner from the Centre Pompidou. Art galleries abound as do fantastic restaurants.

Entering the apartment you'll first be struck by the stylish and... decor and the warmth of the colors. With beautifully restored hardwood flooring, comfortable furniture and exposed wooden ceiling beams, history mingles with the modern here.

The main room is a great open space with a mix of antique and modern furniture, a working wood burning fireplace and two large and sunny windows. You'll feel right at home relaxing here before heading out for a day of sightseeing.

The bedroom is the epitome of simple comfort. Here you'll find the same style standard met. The queen sized bed ensures a comfortable and relaxed sleep.

A gourmet chef would be right at home in the fully equipped kitchen. With a full sized fridge, an oven, stove and everything in between, there isn't anything you can't prepare in this kitchen. Gather some delicious delicacies from the outdoor markets of Paris and put together your own gourmet meal. Or, just head out to your nearest boulangerie and get some croissants for your Parisian breakfast.

Additional Location Information

This apartment is located in the 4th arrondissement in the very heart of the Marais. The famous Centre Pompidou, a center of modern art, is just outside your door. From there you can continue on to the Louvre Museum or cross the river to the stunning Notre Dame cathedral. Or, do as the Parisians do and simply stroll along the Seine river with no firm destination in mind.

You may want to linger in the Marais, however, as it is now one of Paris' most fashionable neighborhoods. Full of galleries, restaurants, boutiques, museums and cultural centers, it feels like its own unique world--despite its convenient location in central Paris. You can browse the shops on the Rue du Rivoli or spend an afternoon picnic-ing on the grass in the breathtaking Place des Vosges.

A short walk to the east will lead you to the historic Place de la Bastille, where you can sit at a café and watch the world go by. On Wednesdays and Sundays, the animated Marché Bastille is a wonderful place to grocery shop, as vendors come from all over France to sell fresh vegetables, fruit, cheese, fish, meat, bread, wine, and pastries. After having an apéritif at the historic Brasserie Bofinger, cross the plaza and take in a performance at the Opéra Bastille. There is no limit to the wonders of this quartier. In any season, the Marais is one of Paris' must-see neighborhoods.
