We always receive a delightful welcome at Rue Saints Peres. The apartment is so inviting and we love that we have the entire floor to ourselves. One of our favorite features is the huge floor to ceiling windows that let in a ton of natural sunlight. The apartment has been updated adding modern luxury, while still giving us that cozy at-home feel. Whether we are lounging in the apartment or wandering the left bank checking out cafés, bakeries and shops our stay in St. Germain is always pleasant and relaxing.

  Apartment had all the amenities advertised, it sleeps six, we were five,and the location is excellent. We had decided it wou.d be more fun to share an apartment then rent hotel rooms. What they didn't tell us is that of the two bathes, only the master is adequate to share. The second bath, three of us are sharing has one small towel rack a tiny sink and a shower with occcasional hot water and very little pressure. Ditto the three bedrooms. The master is large. The other two barely meet standards of Paris notoriously small hotel rooms. And those steps that we were assured would not be a problem because there was an elevator that they neglected to mention stops between floors and there are ten narrow steps up and down and no elevator landing. Try angelina luggage up a circular stair and into an elevator on a diagonal The lights were out for the first three days and complaints to the independent conceigre off site finall brought a lightbulb change. Obviously this doesn't bother any else in the building because the building seems to be empty the peeling paint in the halls, the worn doormat all lends itself to the Gallic charm we thought we were paying for. Can't recommend this for people with children if they have to be carried and anyone eligible for aarp membership will find the steps a formidable challenge and unless your really good friends whoever gets the other two bedrooms and bath might prefer to take their chances at a modest priced hotel where the elevators work, there's plenty of hot water, an on duty conceigre who probably knows the difference between booking an am or pm reservation. But hey, this is paris
