We were a family of 4 (2 children, 6 & 9). The location of the apartment is excellent. Easy access to grocery store, subway, bakery, several coffee shops and restaurants. Seine is 1km easy lovely walk away. St. Germain is great location. Apartment has all the amenities required. Clean and functional. Federico communicated clearly, efficiently and timeous. Will request the apartment again in the future. Paypal transactions were uneventful.

This was the perfect apartment for a week in Paris. It is comfortable, functional, and is ideally located to all the sites in Paris. To top it all off, it's on an charming narrow street in St Germain -- cafes, markets, boutiques, and a full supermarket just steps from your door. Don't hesitate to make this reservation, you won't be disappointed!

I really can't say enough good things about this apartment. It's in a great location that's stone's throw away from shops, restaurants, and public transportation (including metro). Within a few minutes walking, one can be standing on Pont Neuf looking at the Seine. Other major Paris attractions are in walking distance. The apartment itself really couldn't be better equipped. This is my second apartment rental in Paris, and while I liked my first apartment, it didn't compare to this one for quality. It's got just about anything one could possibly need, even including power adapters. The photos are accurate. Upon arrival, I was met on time, and everything was explained to me in great detail (more than I even needed). Checking out was easy as well. Federico made himself and his assistant available for anything. Their numbers were even programmed into the apartment's phone. The next time I stay in St Germain, this apartment will be my first choice!

My 17yo daughter and I arrived by train/metro and very easily found the entry to the apartment. Elsie was ready waiting for us, helped us up in the lift, and explained how to use everything in the apartment. The apartment is the perfect size for 2 adults. Plenty of room, lots of storage space, excellent kitchenette and bathroom. The fresh tulips and bottle of red was a lovely welcoming touch! The apartment comes with free wi-fi access which we used often - emailing those at home and researching where we'd eat dinner, travel routes or what to visit the next day. I found the bed's pillows to be uncomfortable, but then I'm not a very good sleeper at the best of times. My daughter thought they were fine. I also had trouble getting the dryer to work but it did eventually, after several re-tries. A minor word of warning to those who are of large stature, you may find the shower to be a little cramped. We were fine but shaving the legs was a fun challenge :) We couldn't have found a better location. Right in the middle of everything in St Germain. Close to 2 Metro stations, depending on which direction you want to go, and only 10 mins walk to the Seine. We ate at many of the local restaurants, with our favourite being Chez Fernand in Rue Christine. Thank-you Federico for such a wonderful apartment - it made our stay so much more memorable. We will definitely book it again when back in Paris and refer it to any of our friends.

gloucester maa nice home base in paris
Left on 11/05/2012 for a stay in October 2012
This, I think is our favorite area to rent, shop, stroll, sight see and just enjoy the paris cafe experience. We've rented in the 17th and the 7th but this 6th arrondissement is our choice from now on.
The apartment is a nice size for a couple. It is brand new, clean, and we were amazed by the ingenuity of the design. Someone gave this place a great deal of thought.
The amenities that are listed on the website are accurate. You can rely on the description.
Some suggestions for the area : 1- Walk around the corner on a Sunday morning at 11:30 for the organ concert at St. Sulpice (read about in Rick Steves). 2- See St. Germain Des Pres. (only 2 min walk). 3- Walk to Luxembourg Gardens if it's a nice day and have a cafe sit along the way. 4- Cafes in the area : our favorites were "little Brezh" for breton crepes; and L'Atlas for anytime bistro food (a nice onion soup and steak frite /desert special for 19Euros) try a 50cl pichet of burgundy for 13.5 euro. Some of the other cafes were just tourist traps, but the street food, specialty shops and bakeries were superb. You could literally eat at home every night. Just shop and bring it home. A slightly longer walk (to the tip of Isle deLa Cite) of 0.8 km and you have La Rose de France, a super little cafe on a great square near Notre Dame.
There is a good elevator but it begins on the first floor. That means there is a flight of 21 steps with a 180 degree turn in the middle and a few others along the way to get to it.
In fairness Federico was completely honest about this as he knew that I had two knee replacements. It was not a problem for me. Would I rent again? Absolutely! I went up and down an average of 4 times a day no sweat, but it might be a consideration for someone who has recently had knee surgery.
Federico was also very professional and helpful with the paperwork. n Payment was convenient and safe. we used paypal.
The bottom line is ---we loved it!

Left on 11/04/2012 for a stay in September 2012
I rented the apartment for 10 days commencing late September 2012 and it appeared exactly as advertised on web sites. The owners were helpful, and the apartment was clean, well furnished and maintained. The most outstanding aspect of the apartment however, was the location. It is surrounded by great restaurants and patisseries and there is a supermarket around the corner. There are many art galleries and other shops nearby to entice the tourist. It is also only a short walk from the flat to many major attractions such as The Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Musee Rodin, the Luxembourg Gardens and so on. The apartment enabled very easy access to everything I wanted to see and do while in Paris and I recommend it to others.

Ferderico and Elsie... we cannot thank you enough... your kindness, patience and gracious hospitality helped make our first visit to Paris a wonderful experience. Scheduling, contact e mails, billing/payments and apartment descriptions/instructions were precise and $ reasonable... All our expectations were met and surpassed as the location, amenities and household ambience were beyond superb. The apartment provided us with a comfortable retreat and we fully appreciated your efforts to provide a first class vacation environment. We are convinced that such a wonderful place enhanced every other aspect of our stay in Paris and we cannot wait to return, we will be back!

Left on 09/10/2012 for a stay in August 2012
This adorable apartment was in the perfect location/neighborhood. We felt like true Parisians as we explored St Germain des Pres and all of Paris. We were a short walk from a variety of Metro stops. And, make sure to try the Gelato and bakery just down the street! The apartment itself was very well appointed - all our needs had been anticipated (even an iron, plug adapters, internet, etc.). Our teenagers were concerned that the sofa bed would not be comfortable, but it was great - soft, without sagging. Finally, Federico and his manager, Dado, were very welcoming and helpful. We would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a central "home base" during a stay in Paris!

This was a lovely apartment located in one of the best neighborhoods. We were able to walk everywhere, catch the metro, and parking was very close by. The apartment has everything you'd need, is tastefully decorated and has many extra touches. We visited for 4 nights with our grown sons and all of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were very comfortable.
The exquisite linen was luxurious. We were very happy. -

Your apartment is in a prime location and it is very comfortable with everything one needs for a short (or long) stay. We enjoyed the wine with the first dinner we made (with the help of the nearby markets) and it was nice to have some coffee, coffee filters, salt, pepper and other condiments in the kitchen. It was also very helpful to have lots of toilet paper, towels, and other toiletries available. We got a 4 day museum pass and a carnet of metro tickets and we made the most of both. We also were able to go to St Germain des Pres for a Vivaldi concert on Thurs night, went to Nuit at the Musees on Sat, and saw a jazz performance at the St Germain festival on Sunday. The restaurants we ate in were wonderful too. We only went out of Paris to see Giverny and Versailles. I have already recommended your place to a friend and will recommend to others as well.

Left on 05/12/2012 for a stay in April 2012

Our stay at 32 Rue De Buci was wonderful. The apartment was charming, very clean, relatively quiet (there's a little activity outside the bedroom window due to the restaurant across the street) and roomier than much of what you'll find in such a desirable location. The location is ideal. There are a couple of nearby Metro stops which we made use of for for visits to Montmartre and Le Marais, but we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. A supermarket is right around the corner, numerous cafes just steps away, and plenty of (high end) shopping. There's quite a lot of activity in the neighborhood, the place is hopping on the weekends, but not so much that we felt ill at ease; in fact it was energizing. Having the separate bedroom is a luxury; I like to get up early to read and write, my wife prefers to sleep in a little, so I just closed the pocket door, made coffee and enjoyed my morning (and so did my wife zzz...) Federico was always available by phone, and Elsie had the place in spotless condition when we arrived. Highly recommended. We will likely try to stay here again the next time in Paris.

I have joint problems and managed very well. I'll stay here again.

This is an outstanding apartment with a superb location. So close to the Metro and the Seine, we really felt that we were in the heart of the city. The ambiance in the neighborhood gave us a real tate of Parisian sidewalk cafe life. The apartment gave us the flexibility to eat in when we wanted quiet and it was very comfortable.
My daughter, age 10, loved this place so much that she was wistful upon our departure. We all fet the same way as well. This is a great apartment! -

Left on 02/19/2012 for a stay in February 2012
This was our first visit to Paris, and as such we were nervous about renting an apartment. However, the location was perfect, and the apartment was fantastic! The owner thought of absolutely everything-providing transformers, guidebooks and plenty of extra blankets-and was incredibly organized with manuals, directions and info for everything we could possibly need.
The flat was ideally situated right above markets, bakeries and restaurants, within easy walking distance of the Louvre and Notre Dame, as well as metro and RER stations. We got a little extra exercise due to the elevator for the 3rd floor apartment being temporarily broken, but this was only an issue on the day that we arrived with our luggage.
We highly recommend this flat and would happily stay there again.

My husband & I just returned from a week in Paris Oct 2011. From the beginning dealing with Federico was a dream! He has everything planned out for your stay and the apartment reflects his care and professionalism in dealing with clients honestly. He checked us in early and spent so much time showing how to work each appliance & where everything is. Okay, now for the apartment. The apartment itself is roomy and yet cozy with every comfort & device you could ask for. It was soo quiet even though it's in the most fun area of Paris with loads of shops & restaurants. The only down side is once you're snuggled inside & you decide to do use the wi-fi to check your mail etc... you forget there's an incredible fun world right outside the door. Federico & Iwona - thanks for a fabulous stay!

Left on 09/22/2011 for a stay in September 2011
The apartment was perfect for us. Let's start with the fact that it had everything we needed, from the comfy bed to the well equipped kitchen. Everything was quality, built to last and work well. We loved the free phone and used it to call the States to make people feel jealous. The wireless internet was reliable (I recommend that you bring a laptop to take advantage of this). The location was ideal. It is in a very busy area, but not noisy at night. (new windows are soundproof in any case). Rue de Buci is a cut through street with a ton of cafes and restaurants. We ate out in the neighborhood but made breakfast and picnic lunches in our flat. Grocery stores, bakeries, cheese places, gourmet food shops, all within 1 block. Two different metro lines and a couple of really convenient bus lines are right around the corner. The bus was a treat because it gave you a tour of the city while going where the Metro didn't. The owners thought of everything and gave a first rate check-in. They even let us stash our luggage while the place was being cleaned up from the previous guest as we arrived early. The place met or exceeded our expectations in every way. We will be back.

We stayed in this fantastic apartment for two weeks in March/April 2011. We were thrilled with the location and proximity to the metro and RER. The apartment is nicely sized, clean, and was very quiet. The kitchen is well equipped. There are many charcuteries, patisseries, wine shops, and other specialty stores close by. I appreciated the quality hair dryer and the washer/dryer combo. We are a couple in our 50's and appreciated the full sized, super comfortable bed. There was also a very nice convertible bed in the living room that we used a few times when someone was snoring! I highly recommend this apt.
Many thanks to Federico and Iwona. They were very helpful and answered all our questions promptly. We have used Vrbo for 20 years and have never been disappointed. Another winner!

Left on 01/30/2011 for a stay in October 2010
This flat is wonderful for a romantic getaway. Federico and Iwona were fantastic hosts, incredibly professional in renting us their flat and really, just nice people who helped make our stay in Paris a wonderful experience. Federico made reserving the flat and arranging the deposit super easy. When the time for our trip finally came my girlfriend and I arrived after hours of flight delays, and Iwona had graciously waited for us at the flat to give us the keys and show us how to work everything in the apartment.
The space was perfect for our 5 day stay in Paris. Right in the heart of St. Germain Des Pres it provided the perfect "home base" for exploring the entire city by foot. With laundry and a kitchen in the apartment we were able to make the most of our travel budget, enjoying some meals at home (a grocery/wine store is just around the corner) and splurging on some fantastic restaurants in the neighborhood. Free calls to our family in the States allowed my girlfriend to easily stay in touch with home while on our adventure, and the local guidebooks Federico and Iwona had on the shelf helped us plan an unforgettable trip through Paris.
We look forward to returning to this amazing city for a longer stay in the future, and will definitely look first for availability at this very nice and perfectly located flat. -

We (the two of us and our teenage granddaughter) spent the week of Nov. 20-27 in the Rue de Buci apartment and were delighted with everything. Federico and Iwana, as well as their adorable baby girl met us at the flat and gave us a short tour, explaining the workings of the appliances, etc.
The apartment itself is just like the pictures. Everything is very clean and looks new and pretty. The furnishings are very nice and comfortable , and the bathroom is conveniently arranged
We loved the kitchen area. It is so cleverly designed, with a place for everything. Since the neighborhood offers any number of food shops, we kept fruit, cheese, bread, and drinks, and made a good breakfast every morning.
The neighborhood... how can I describe it except to say that it was perfect for us. The shops, markets, cafes, streets, the people and even the dogs, were just what we wanted for our granddaughter's first trip to Paris, and she certainly agreed!
We walked to many areas, and took the metro from Saint Michel station to other areas.
We look forward to staying again on Rue de Buci and have already recommended the apartment to friends..

This studio apartment had everything necessary and was extremely clean and well designed. The only downsides to the apartment were the loud bar outside (which was only loud on the weekend) and the small bathroom (however the bathroom was functional and well designed for the small space). Federico (the landlord) was extremely thorough, professional, fair and reliable - and when traveling abroad, what else is more important? I was very comfortable in this apartment rental.

We stayed for 8 nights at the end of august 2010. Everything was as described; the photos gave an accurate representation of the apartment. The property was immacualte. Iwona met us on arrival and went through all the details of running the machines etc. We would certainly stay there again and reccomend it to our friends. Rue Buci is close to everything in central Paris. One night we were late coming back from touring and decided to get food in. While the regular shops were closed we got excelent Italian takeout at a fair price from the Italian restaurant about 3 doors down just before ave St. Germain de Pre. There is a real advantage to having a spot that is quite homey. The space for bags , clothes etc. was more spacious than what we had expected. The elevator was really handy. Federico arranged a shuttle to CDG for us. Thirty eight euros for two and no dragging the suitacases on the Metro and RER. Truly a great place to enjoy Paris from.

Furthermore its location was perfect for us: very convenient food and delicatessen shopping at Buci famous market 50m away; plus great entertainement, large choice of movie theaters, restaurants & bars, the special Saint Germain atmosphere and all sight seeing you wish for across the corner !

This beautifully appointed apartment is in the perfect Paris location. Very close by you will find a small grocery store, a fresh fruit and vegetable market, a patisserie, an Italian take-out and some of the most famous cafes and sights in Paris. The apartment is comfortable, beautifully decorated and offers every amenity (including a washer and dryer!). Our hosts were delightful and very accomodating.
