This is at least the third time I rent this appartment. I think it is the best location in Paris. Halldis people very friendly and make your stay very pleasant.I will of course rent it again in my next stay in Paris, but then again it is very comfortaqble for only one person.
Maybe next time I wil ask for a comfortable chair to sit and watch TV.

an adequate garret for a single guy to get his rest and check hi

Left on 07/15/2012 for a stay in June 2012

Clean, well located, good building, quiet, marginal cross ventilation in the heat. A very good Wifi connection.
Ok for a single guy, but not OK for bringing someone special to Paris. Larger room than in a hotel, but too small for two without stepping upon one another. Furnishings were somewhere between "Target" and "Walmart" in quality. two metal chairs, a metal small table, a bed on a platform, two crate-like bedside tables, a TV. Adequate towels sheets etc. Compared to apartments I saw on the other side of the river the price was way out of line.

      Dear hawaii visitor,
We are sorry that the apartment did not fully meet your expectations.
It is actually a small apartment: the description on our website clearly states that it is a 25sq.mt studio, as a consequence everything is in proportion.
Even if the furniture is quite essential, Saint Germain des Prés is one of the most prestigious area in Paris, right at the city centre and close to most of the attractions. We’re sorry that you didn’t find the furniture suitable for your needs, even more so because this apartment is usually well appreciated by our customers. Nonetheless we will take your review into serious consideration to further improve our service. We hope to host you again in the future,
      Best regards,
      Cecilia

      Excellent communication and service

Left on 06/13/2012 for a stay in June 2012

From the inquiry of the rental up until the completion of our stay, Raffaella and Marco were great to deal with. Both were very polite, professional, accommodating and available any time with questions.
The apartment is exactly as how it is shown on the website. It's small but cozy.
The best part of this rental is the location. Really close to Boulevard St-Germain, Rue de Buci, two metro stations, and many restaurants to name a few Les Deux Magots, Cafe de Flore and Brasserie Lipp.
My husband and I had a great week. We had one small problem with the elevator when we arrived but Marco was on it and the issue was resolved. Thank you again Marco! À la prochaine!

      Great flat - great location

Left on 11/02/2011 for a stay in October 2011

      We stayed for 11 nights.

      Positives

      Newly decorated, appealing style.
Quiet. No street noise. Occasional neighbour voices. Nothing jarring.
Sufficient space to move around despite being tiny. Much better value than a hotel.
Great location: two minutes walk to metro, to the covered market and the boulevard St Germain. Twenty minutes walk to the Louvre.
Good service from Haldis: timely meeting and letting us in; prompt repair to stove the first time.
      Reliable and fast internet.

      Negatives

Stove exploded twice. First time it was promptly repaired. Second time we were left for a day or two without being able to cook.
Kitchen amenities not well stocked: old aluminium pots and pans, no spatula, no cutting board, no cutting knives. We left a few donations.

We were promised a sheet change after one week. Didn't happen. But we didn't complain either.

      Summary

Excellent apartment in excellent area with very good service. Good value compared to a hotel. Highly recommended.

      Magical

Left on 10/27/2011 for a stay in October 2011

This apartment was wonderful. It had everything I needed to feel like a city dweller instead of a hotel tourist. I spent every night looking out the skylight imagining what it would be like to live there permanently and what a dream come true that would be. The decor was simple, upbeat and the place was clean!
