Saint Germain des Présand the Latin Quarter, the6th arrondissementand5th arrondissementsrespectively, represent the beating heart of the Left Bank. The main arteries are boulevard St Germain, which arcs parallel to the Seine, and boulevard St Michel, which runs perpendicular to it as far south as the Jardin du Luxembourg.
St Germain was once a hotspot for thinkers and the literati.
South of boulevard St Germain, place St Sulpice is the perfect place for a drink overlooking the church followed by some designer shopping. Rue St-André-des-Arts, rue de Seine, rue du Four, rue de Sèvres and rue du Bac heave with fashion shops, contemporary art galleries and antique shops.
At the southern end of rue du Bac is the Bon Marché department store. There is a fantastic food market on rue de Buci and great markets on rue Mouffetard and rue Monge.

A cosy apartment on the 5th floor, serviced by lift to the 4th floor, a well serviced kitchen, bathroom was fine, but a large person would not fit through shower door. Fascinating views of rooftops, no immediate acces to the internet, but staff were fantastic in making it happen. Top position for galleries, food etc 2 minutes from the Seine. A very pleasant and romantic experience

the service we received was perfect; Mr Longobardi is a serious person, ready to risolve any problem
The home was simply but very nice; very special the location
the only small problem was, in my opinion, if you stay for more than 6 days...i think that you should receive at least double towels !!! We stay for 11 days and ...we bought two towels!! It's only a small reccomandation.!!! -

The location is exceptional,the best!!. The attic is complete but maybe for a couple. For more than two is a little uncomfortable. The Halldis team was very nice and help us with all our requirements.
