We've spent five beautiful days at Sabine's apartment! You'll find everything you may need both in the neighborhood and in the apartment, otherwise Sabine will help you to get it! I highly recommend this property for a confortable and enjoyable stay in París. We should return willingly for our next vacation in París!

New YorkIn the middle of everything!
Left on 05/30/2013 for a stay in May 2013
Just got back from a long girl's weekend in Paris and for the most part my sister and I loved this flat. We shared the full sized bed in the bedroom but there was the option to utilize the trundle beds in the living room. Sabine is a very gracious host and spent the time to make sure we knew how everything worked in the flat and how to get around the area (even though we were running very late!). We're from NY so thought it was funny that she kept apologizing for how small things were, when really we found the flat to be a great size, especially considering it was right in the heart of the city. As others have mentioned, there is literally no street noise. The only negative experience we had was with the upstairs neighbors being very loud. I discussed this with Sabine after the fact (I should have really spoken up when the incidents occurred) and she informed me that the upstairs flat is a short term rental as well and that she was going to get into contact with the owners to make sure that doesn't happen again. So hopefully our aggravation clears the way for the next round. We really loved this flat and would stay here again in heart beat.

I was so upset with that problem of noise from the upstairs neighbors!!
I contacted the owner and told him that this cannot happen again: he has to warn his guests that this is a QUIET building and no noise disturbance is authorized. He apologized for my guests and promised that will not happen again! -

Left on 05/17/2013 for a stay in March 2013
My husband and I stayed at this lovely flat in March 2013 and had a great stay. The location was excellent, close to all the local attractions and yet still had a neighborhood feel. Great restaurants and night life, yet quiet to sleep at night. Owner Sabine was lovely and answered all our questions. Wifi worked well and a must these days. Close to metro for easy access. Only complaint would be would have been nice to have a proper sofa to relax in, rather than a daybed, after a long day out exploring this great city. Furniture pretty basic and and could have been more comfortable. Not a big deal since you don't come to Paris to stay inside. Would highly recommend!

We could not have been more happy with the apartment! It was just perfect! In every little detail, location is wonderful for trasportation, eating out or shopping to eat in. It is very safe and clean. You have thought of every little detail inside that makes it so comfortable and easy to stay here. The beds are comfortable, pillows ample, kitchen has everything one needs and the bathroom set up is excellent! With shower seperate from toilet and two sinks which helps with getting ready in the morning. Washer/dryer, tv, phone, Wifi we needed nothing else! Not to mention all your guidence with getting tickets to museums and sites. Merci Sabine for sharing your lovely flat!

We consider ourselves lucky to have found the place. The location is brilliant as the area is most charming and a great departure place for parisian main sites. You can walk almost everywhere or get a quick ride to all of the tourist sites yet you will most definitely feel compelled to explore the immediate souroundings as they are filled with young people, great food and amazing shops and galleries. The apartment is spotless, comfortable and roomy enough to have 3-4 people not feel like they are trapped , wich is what most places you can rent at the price will offer you. It will save you money as you will be able to find everything in it from food gear to wine and condiments kindly supplied by the owner.
Great communication with the owner at all times meant we always felt we had a backup in case something unexpected would happen.
All in all , a great experience that we , as seasoned travelers around Europe ,could reccomend !

I stayed with my husband and 1 1/2 year old in this flat for four nights. It was a very nice flat and the location was great for walking to lots of things. There are metro stations close by as well, but the walking was really convenient! There is a grocery store and some nice shops right around the corner too!
The flat was a very good value for the price and Sabine was extremely nice and helpful. She provided a crib for our baby at no extra cost! Check-in and check-out were very easy.
We had a nice stay in Paris and in this flat. -

This was the perfect place for my friend and I to stay during our 8 day visit to Paris. The location truly could not have been better. Steps from St. Germain, cafe's, shops and delicious restaurants. About a 7 min walk to the Seine River, and 10 min to the Louvre.
The apartment itself was very comfortable, clean, and quiet.
In addition Sabine was the perfect greeting host. She gave great suggestions, handy maps, and a welcome bottle of wine upon our arrival.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

This one bedroom apartment is ideally situated just 2-3 minutes from Odeon metro station and 5 minutes from St Michel/Notre Dame metro station (on the RER line from Charles de Gaulle airport). It is within 10-15 minutes walk from Notre Dame and The Louvre and about 45-60 minutes from the arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. The apartment and double bedroom are compact but freshly decorated with modern Ikea furniture. The kitchen is well equipped and the apartment was very warm and comfortable despite freezing temperatures outside. There is a Japanese restaurant below and a good pizza restaurant a few doors down with many more cafes, restaurants and patisseries in the area. There is a small supermarket opposite and another large one nearby.
Sabine was a pleasure to deal with and provided us with lots of maps, brochures and information about Paris. -

Columbus, OhioA Perfect Place to Stay In Paris
Left on 01/03/2013 for a stay in December 2012
Pictures truly do not do this apartment justice, and it was the perfect place to stay in Paris. It's tucked away on a side street, and once you enter the courtyard, you can hear nay a peep of the outside world. It is perfectly situated with two grocery stores within a 5 minute walk, a subway station within a 5 minute walk, and right off of one of the best shopping and dining roads in Paris in Blvd. St. Germain. The area was safe at all hours of the night and you were able to find food ranging from the cheap to the expensive so there is a wide array of resteraunts to fit your budget.
The apartment is larger than it even looks in the picture. For two people it is larger than what is probably even needed, and for three or 4 I could easily image it still being comfortable. It has such a wonderful feel to it.
The best part though is Sabine. She's so willing to work with you. During our travels our luggage wad delayed and I didn't have a local number at the airport except Sabines'. Unfortunately they ended up calling her around 12:30am even though I specifically asked them to call my cell phone first. Not a complaint or a foul word. Then after that we didn't leave until 8pm, so she met us at the apartment and stored the luggage at her brothers art gallery until later in the day so we could explore Paris more without worrying about luggage. Truly exceptional hospitality.
This is a fantastic place and you won't regret one moment of staying here. Trust me, good ahead and book it, it's fantastic. -

The apartment is charming and in a perfect location in St. Germain. My husband and I walked to all the major sights and the train/metro was really close by. The apartment was perfect for our stay, it was nice and warm when we returned from walking in the cold Paris weather, and had all the facilities, was really clean, and quiet at night. Sabine was a great help, always in contact with us prior to our arrival and showed us everything we needed to know on how to work the appliances, suggested a few great restaurants in the area and had all the tourist infromation and maps to plan our stay. It was overall an awesome stay in Paris and hope to return again.

Los Angeles, CAPerfect place to feel "at home" in Paris!
Left on 10/21/2012 for a stay in October 2012
My husband and I just returned from a one-week stay at this terrific apartment. Our experience was fantastic. Sabine is an excellent "hostess," and the communication before and during our visit was fast, helpful, and reliable. The apartment was cozy and charming, spotless upon arrival, and fully stocked with everything we needed. When we met Sabine, she had it all ready for us, including a bottle of wine, local tips, and recommendations. She was also always available by email. But really, the best thing about it (other than Sabine) is the location-steps from the Odeon stop, and in the most charming convergence of streets in the 6th. You could never leave the neighborhood and eat at a different restaurant every meal, buy food and cook (outdoor stalls and 2 markets steps away), and shop to your heart's content. There's a back way to the Seine that puts you on a pedestrian bridge over to the Right Bank with a 10-minute walk. In short, a comfortable, quiet place to feel "at home" in Paris. Details: the wi-fi worked perfectly. The washing machine and dishwasher were great. There was plenty of room for ourselves and our college-age daughter (who is currently living in the 17th but who loved the location so much she stayed with us for almost the entire week.) All kitchen/bathroom items are generously provided. Despite some (unavoidable) construction noise, the apartment is quiet, facing an inner courtyard so though on a lively street there is no noise and it feels very private. (One small caveat: if traveling with seniors or the disabled, be aware there is no lift. It is up one flight of curved stairs: very Parisian, but rather old-picturesque! Make sure you know the location of the timed stairway lights at the top and bottom of the stairs as well as the courtyard entrance before it gets dark. It was no problem for us, however.) All in all, I would highly recommend this apartment and will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Paris. Thanks, Sabine!

The location of the apartment is perfect. You are close to several Metro stops and the train. You are also within walking distance to many of the churches and museums as well as the river being so close. My favorite thing was how quiet it was in the apartment but then you walk out of the courtyard, turn right and there at the end of the block is rue de Buci with all its cafe's, flower market, produce market, grocery store, bakeries, etc... It is quite lively every night of the week. There is also Cafe Laurent just a few minutes away. It has live jazz on Thurs,Fri, and Sat nights. The apartment is as in the pictures. Sabine is so welcoming and very helpful! The Internet is very fast and you also can make local and long distance calls from the apartment. We felt quite safe in the area and the apartment. We would definitely stay here again.
Merci Sabine! -

In expensive Paris this small apartment is perfectly located for easy access to major attractions such as Musee d'Orsay, the Louvre, Notre Dame and Eiffel Tower. Public transport is also readily available. It is surrounded by excellent restaurants and shopping.
The owner, Sabine, was extremely helpful, check-in was a breeze, and Sabine was happy to be contacted if there were any problems - there weren't. Happy to recommend.

Stayed at this apartment for a week for our first ever trip to Paris, and it was wonderful.
The apartment itself is exactly as in the pictures. It's small, but everywhere in Paris is so that was expected. There was plenty of room for the three of us (me, my husband and 6 yr old daughter). The kitchen was great. Basics stocked, utensils and whatever you needed were all there.
The lication was simply perfect. You are right in the middle of everything, with great metro connections close by, but being off the road meant no noise or anything
Sabine herself was fantastic. Great communication setting things up, and super helpful with anything and everything we needed
I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend to anyone.

Left on 08/22/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We stayed in this apartment for 12 days in august, and as we expected for the reviews and the previous contact with Sabine, the owner, it was a pleasant experience. The apartment has all we needed and more, with a lot of little details of things you may need.
The location is excellent, two minutes walk from the Metro (Odeon) with a lot of bars and restaurants around, although we prefer dining at home, so we bought our supplies in a supermarket just round the corner, which was very well stocked.
The apartment was perfect for the four of us, (all adults) and exactly as you see in the pictures. The only thing that needs repair are the stairs to the apartment, but were not a problem for us.
Definitely, we would rent it again if we return to Paris.

The service from Sabine was excellent and very personal. She was very happy to respond to all our requests. The location is perfect for many of the key sites in Paris being a short walk from Notre Dame etc. It is quiet and secure but has excellent access to dining, transport and shopping. Although relatively small you quickly adjust and the central location makes any compromise in this regard worthwhile.

Left on 06/22/2012 for a stay in May 2012
My wife and I spent 5 nights at this apartment towards the end of May 2012.
The apartment is on the first floor but we had no problem using the stairs as there is no lift.
The apartment was quiet and overlooked a small court yard. As others have previously written we were met by Sabine who showed us around and explained how the appliances worked. Communicating with Sabine was easy via email to complete the booking and answer our queries.
The apartment is of a reasonable size but for me I think it is only suitable for two people. The double bed was comfortable. The shower was a good size but the bathroom was very small and lacked a power point for hair dryer, shaver etc. There was a separate toilet with hand basin. The washing machine/ dryer was a real plus.
The living room was a good size. Table and four chairs for meals etc.The lounge furniture was OK but could have been a bit more comfortable for my liking. The kitchen area provided all the necessary items and it had a large refrigerator.
The location was excellent as it was within easy walking distance of most sights and plenty of shops, restaurants and supermarkets all within a minutes' walk.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at this apartment.

Also your remark about the power point for hairdryer and shaver is very important to me: I realize that I always forgot to show where this power point is! (just behind the wood curtains).

Left on 05/28/2012 for a stay in May 2012
As the title says, this is a 'charming apartment' in the terrific location of St Germain-des-Pres, which is a wonderful area in which to base for any trip to Paris. It has easy connections to transport especially bus, RER (for CDG at St Michel) and Metro. Only a short stroll to the left bank at Pont Neuf and even shorter stroll in the other direction to cafes/restaurants/markets of the 6th arrondisement and street life that is Paris.
The apartment is very well renovated and comfortable practical/stylish furniture, fixtures, appliances and fittings. Located only one set of (Parisian) stairs off ground level, it has windows on two sides.
Your host/owner is very helpful and attentive and most pleasant and efficient for negotiating your rental.
All in all, this excellent apartment is highly recommended for your next trip to Paris.Response from Sabine - 05/28/2012

Left on 05/26/2012 for a stay in May 2012
I can't say enough good things about our experience renting this charming apartment. Sabine, the owner, was a joy to work with throughout the booking process, and she met us at the apartment on our arrival and explained about the appliances, the phone, the TV, the wifi, the door lock, etc. and told us about the small grocery across the street and the supermarket around the corner. The location on the Left Bank in the middle of St. Germain Des Pres, could not be better. The area is very walkable, and the Odeon Metro stop on Blvd. St. Germain is just a short walk from the apartment.
The place is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, which even includes a dishwasher, a spacious bathroom with a large shower and nice counter and sink area, and a separate, private WC with its own small corner sink. Although we did not need to use it, there is a washer/dryer combination in the bathroom as well.
The apartment has one bedroom with a queen bed, and in the living room the sofa is actually a daybed with a trundle. In addition, there is a futon chair which provides another bed if needed, so the apartment can sleep a family of five with no problem. The dining table has four chairs, but there are two other chairs that can be used to seat more people at the table if necessary. Since there were only two of us, we had lots and lots of space! What a luxury for a more than reasonable price!
There is no elevator, but the apartment is up just one flight of stairs, and the windows open onto a private courtyard, which means there is no street noise at all even though the building is in the heart of a very busy area. There is no air conditioning, but we did not need it, nor did we need to use the heat during our stay.
I have already recommended this apartment to friends, and I recommend it to you. I will certainly try to stay there again whenever I travel to Paris.

Stayed here during the cold snap of Feb 2012. This apartment was perfect...we were two adults, one in the bedroom, one on the bed in the living area. Did not use the trundle or futon.
The gallery downstairs is owned by the owner's brother, so the doors to the courtyard are open all the time, and you don't need to remember the code to get in unless you go out before 9 and come back late. The courtyard is nothing to see, but it keeps the apartment very quiet at night...if you read any of my reviews, you know I'm a light sleeper but I had no problems whatsoever sleeping in this apartment.
The apartment is well-equipped, with everything you need to cook. Internet worked great. Shower was fine. Heat worked well, but if it is cold, you really have to put the...door log??? along the base of the door to outside to stop the draft from coming in. Once we did, it was much warmer. Dishes very nice, pots and pans, silverware all good quantity and quality.
Sabine was easy to work with and communicated perfectly. She met us as arranged and made check out very easy also. The pictures of the apartment are spot on --- no hidden surprises, no "oh, that's not what it looked like". it is up one flight of ancient, possibly crumbling stairs...if you can't climb stairs, this rental is not for you.
Location is amazing...5 minutes to the Louvre, 5 minutes to Notre Dame, supermarket around the corner, great restaurants all around...St Germain is a very nice district. We (two women) felt safe walking at night, and I jogged early in the morning with no issues at all. Good shopping and you are literally 3 minutes from the metro.
Can't recommend this rental enough! -

This is my first time renting an apartment in a city and it's definitely the best way to experience and live like the locals. The apartment is located at the perfect spot to attractions and restaurants. It is 5 mins to Notre Dame, 10 mins to Louvre, 5 mins to the metro, and less than a min before you find yourself a great place to eat in.
My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights and we were very very pleased with the apartment. It has a full kitchen, a big living area, and a perfect size bedroom for us. The apartment is very modern and clean. The most memorable part was how the owner, Sabine, is very friendly and helpful. She is very responsive with the whole process and very thorough when checking in. She made everything easy!
Even though Paris is a beautiful city of itself, it wouldn't have felt perfect if we didn't stayed at this apartment. I highly recommend it and hope everyone else would have the same great experience we had. -

Gorgeous little apartment: atmospheric, really comfortable and a peaceful place to come back to after a busy day in Paris. Fantastic location, heaps of cafes/bars/restaurants close by, easy walk to lots of great sights, and v close to metro. We loved just wandering around St Germain and the Latin Quarter, then being able to pop home so our baby could have a nap.
Sabine was a very welcoming host - she met us on arrival, showed us how everything worked and had lots of great insider tips for making the most of our Paris visit. (Making the booking with her in the first place was also very easy.) The apartment is set up with everything you need so it's just like staying at a friend's place. -

My husband, I and our 3 year old son stayed here for a weekend in early December. It was a fantastic experience. the flat is in an amazing location, really quite and very well-equipped. It was small - but no smaller than expected - and well laid-out. Everything worked well, the beds were comfortable and Sabine was incredibly helpful when we arrived. She even left a buggy for our son to use which was really helpful. We would definitely look to stay in this place again.

This aparment is ideally suited for 2 people. I think more would be uncomfortable.
The apartment has the appliances you expect in good condition (exception dryer). No airconditioning! Good shower and excellent internet access. It is a quiet, secure and very well located apartment. Restaurants, bars, patisseries
and an intermarche nearby.
Sabine, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. Available by phone if you need any assistance.
I guess the best recommendation is that we would happily stay there again.Response from Sabine - 10/05/2011

Dear Paul,
Thank you for your comment.
I didn't know that you met some problems with the dryer? It didn't work properly? Please let me know as it is a new machine and I'll claim to the shop where I bought it.
I hope you are well.
Best regards,
Sabine -

The apartment in Rue Mazarine is incredibly located in the heart of the funnest part of Saint Germain, with cafes, bars, and people until late at night, yet it is located inside a court yard which makes it calm and quiet. It is tastefully decorated and even if it is a small place it is very smartly set up, to give, even a group of four, privacy and a sense of space.
Sabine was very helpful and nice. We would love to go back. -

We travelled through Paris on our way from Munich to amsterdam. We arrived on Sunday. The apartment was spotless incredibly quite and oh so comfortable...and so well equipped. Sabine even provided a stroller for my 4 year old daughter. She thought of every detail. It was centrally located and so easy to access public tranporation. We loved our experience. My daughter is still telling everyone that our Paris apartment was her favorite of all the places we visited!! Most of all we felt like Parisians...We hope to visit again soon and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Thank you Sabine for such a wonderful experience.

This is a gem! We stayed for a week and loved the neighborhood and the charming apartment. Sabine was there to greet us and show us all the important details. She could not have been more gracious. We walked to so many sites and the Metro Odeon is so close for the rest. If you enjoy cafes, art galleries, shopping and nightlife this is the perfect location. We were there with our 12 year old son and at night, it was lively outside of the building but quiet inside. It was a lovely spot for the three of us.
