Additional Location Information
The studio is located on rue Monsieur Le Prince (Odéon), in the heart of the Latin Quarter, a safe and prestigious neighborhood that is famous for its Parisian eateries, theaters, and boutique shops. It is within walking distances to most touristic and cultural attractions, like the Luxembourg Garden, Notre Dame, the Panthéon, the Invalides, Musée d'Orsay, or the Sorbonne..., just too numerous to mention. The Louvre Museum or Hôtel de Ville, on the other side of the Seine river, is a 10-15 minute romantic walk through the cobblestone streets. We have taken a few pictures of the immediate neighborhood to give you the real appreciation of the location.
Public transportation is the most convenient with steps away from 6 bus lines and RER & metro stations. which are also the easy and cost-effective connections to and from the airports and train stations.
Saint-Michel Nôtre Dame, Châtelet- major hub for public airport transfer is only 1 metro stop or 5 minutes fun walk in the heart of the Latin Quarter.
Metro station Odéon (100m away) is on line #4 (direct connection (no changing lines with heavy luggage!) to Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est and Gare Montparnasse) and also on line #10 (direct connection to Gare d'Austerlitz). This is especially convenient if you are also traveling to other French and European destinations.

Campinas/SPGreat studio in the best part of Paris!!!
Left on 02/13/2013 for a stay in January 2013
Our family was looking for a good place to stay in our first trip to Paris. As all the hotels are pretty expensive and small (for a family of 4 normally you have to book 2 rooms) we decided to go for a renting place.
Reading thru many reviews we found a small studio very well ranked in the trip advisor. As rening is always something you have to worry about, we were lucky to find Michelle, the owner.
Michelle is such a wonderful person. She called me several times to make sure all of our doubts were addressed, sent us most recent pictures and explained additional infos such as how to get to the studio, tips from Paris, restaurants, etc.
At the end the trip was just great. Here is a summary of the Pro´s and Con´s of this studio.
Pros:
- Super well located (in the heard of Quartier Latin)
- Walking distance to main attractions, restaurants, etc
- Metro is almost in front
- Carrefour and Monoprix very close
- Full equiped studio (with everything you need. And everything is new / working)
- First set of key things (soap, cleaning, etc) were already there
- Bottle of wine and fruits were a super surprise!!!
- Free calls to Brazil / free internet
- Expresso Coffee Machine
Cons:
- The studio is really small. It fits well 2 people. 4 would be ok if were 2 kids
- In the street level, there is a bar. The music was very loud from Thrusday to Sat which was a problem to sleep. We mentioned it to Michelle that said it was unsual and would check with the building manager
- 2 sets of narrow stairs until you get to the studio
I would strongly recommend this studio. Its cost x benefic plus the super service provided by Michelle worth every Euro. -

Oxford, United KingdomExcellent apartment and great location
Left on 02/13/2013 for a stay in February 2013
This apartment is small but perfect. Everything that you need is there. The apartment is immaculate and the welcome pack is a nice touch. Michelle the host is there to welcome you and answer all your questions. She is a mind of information which really helped us make the most of our stay. The location couldn't be any better, you are so central.

Seattle, WashingtonA great little place to stay in a central location.
Left on 12/03/2012 for a stay in November 2012
My wife and I stayed at this location for one week in late november. We were greeted by Michelle, who was wonderful. She is a friendly, charming woman, and she showed us the apartment, explained how everything worked, and let us know that if we needed anything, we could call her. In the review below, I marked comfort as average only because my wife and I are older, and have some hip problems, and with the amount of stairs we did have some problems. With most people, I think it would be fine. I think this is a wonderful apartment for young people, or for families with young children. Not great for older folks with disabilities. The location is tremendous, just about a 5-10 minute walk from Notre Dame, and just a little longer to the Louvre. The only real problems that we had were that we only had one week to enjoy the apartment and Paris. But, if, and when, we get back to Paris, we would certainly stay in this studio, if only to meet Michelle again.

Nashville, Tennessee, USAPerfect place to stay in Paris!
Left on 11/19/2012 for a stay in November 2012
This studio apartment is wonderful. It is steps away from a metro station that will take you anywhere you want to go. However, we loved the area close by...the area with the quaintest cafes in Paris, in my opinion. The studio is 1/2 mi from Notre Dame, one mile to the Louvre, and 2 mi to the Eiffel Tower. The studio is well equipped with everything from a hair dryer, iron, washer/dryer...our favorite feature was the unlimited ability to call home to the USa from the studio phone free of charge! The owner (Michelle) is very helpful in planning your trip. We emailed many times about questions I had regarding tours, airport transfers, train/metro routes...she would even call me when my questions got to "wordy" for email! She speaks English, by the way! We loved our stay at this studio and hope you will too!

Nashville, TNFantastic stay in cozy loft
Left on 08/09/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay at #3 Monsieur Le Prince. The location was fantastic; close to the Metro, walking distance to most sites of interest, and many eateries nearby. Although the loft was cozy for four of us, we loved the place for its amenities, cleanliness and location. We had everything we needed and Michelle provided first rate service. She tracked our lost luggage and insured that it was in the apartment upon our arrival. The value was terrific and we look forward to staying here again on our next visit.

The Woodlands, TxBig mistake to pass this by...
Left on 07/31/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We had the pleasure of staying at this recently remodeled contemporary apartment for 5 days. Michelle, the owner was helpful, gracious and at our beakon call for any questions or information. She has provided a book that walks you through anything needed from a grocery store, taxi, shopping, instructions for TV. etc. We walked to the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Loevre, etc. The Latin Quarter has everything day or night that you would want in a friendly neighborhood with cafe's, bar's, a pharmacy, a grocery, etc. We had unlimited international/domestic phone access, great wireless connections, kitchen necessities, washer/ dryer, and very comfortable surroundings. The stairs are a little narrow and steep but we went down once a day and up once a day so it was a non-event. I will never stay anywhere else when in Paris. There is not aC but the fans were more than enough and we seldom used them. Thank you, Michelle

Los AngelesThe studio with everything in the center of paris.
Left on 07/31/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Michelle is what you would call a perfect host. A friend and I came from California and stayed at her place for five days. Michelle's hospitality began before we even arrived. She communicated back and forth with us in the weeks prior to our arrival and answered any questions we had about visiting Paris for the first time. She made sure she had our flight itineraries to ensure everything went smoothly with our travel. When we got to the apartment, Michelle was there herself to greet us and show us around the studio. Everything in the apartment is taken care of very well and looks just like the photos. Though the apartment is small, it has everything one would need to feel comfortable. The two of us never felt cramped. Michelle provided us with linens, towels, fresh fruit, juice, a bottle of wine, and even an espresso maker... (which was invaluable after late nights out and early tours in the morning). The apartment couldn't be more centrally located. A short 5-minute walk to the river Seine, we walked to all the major sights in Paris. Directly underneath the apartment is several lively cafes and the apartment is right next to the Metro station and right off Boulevard St Germain. Another 5 minutes away is a lively bar scene. On our last night, we had our favorite meal in Paris directly under the apartment at Le Comptoir... which I highly recommend. Oh. I almost forgot! Michelle provides a phone in the apartment that allows for free calling back and forth to the us. This was totally unexpected and a welcome surprise. So useful. About halfway through our trip, Michelle called and checked up on us to see if there was anything else we needed from her. There wasn't. She thought of everything!

Oberlin, OhioDownstairs to Paris!
Left on 07/09/2012 for a stay in July 2012
My niece and I enjoyed our Paris stay in Michelle's apartment in the Latin District. You could not ask for a kinder or more accommodating hostess than Michelle. She met us at Starbucks and then showed us around our new "home." Waiting for us was a French bottle of wine, O.J.in the fridge, and fruit to snack on. She had tourist brochures and maps available and left her cell and home number should we have any questions or concerns. A big plus with this listing was that Michelle had a phone line available in which we could make unlimited calls to our family and friends back in the United States for free. WiFi was available and the connection was speedy. (It felt so great to be "connected" to the rest of the world again!) The location of the apartment in the Latin District was outstanding. Right across the street was a bagel shop (which made my niece happy) and right around the corner was a crepe stand (which made me happy)...along with a Starbucks, pharmacy, and of course, nightlife right down the street. The accommodation itself was very neat and clean and although very small, quite functional. There was a dishwasher as well as a washing machine (brush up on your French for use with the controls! haha). The downside for me was that the bed was up a few stairs in a small loft area, but the climb was worth it because the bed was quite comfortable. There were also two narrow flights of stairs to get to the apartment, but even with our luggage and backpacks (and Michelle's help), there was no problem. The bathroom was neat and clean and spacious and Michelle even had some toiletries and necessities available for use. To sum it up, my niece and I had a great time in Paris and enjoyed our little apartment in the Latin District greatly...but most of all, we enjoyed meeting Michelle and visiting with her and appreciated all of her extra special touches to make our visit so successful.
