Charming 1-bedroom apartment for vacation rentals in Paris, newly renovated and refurbished in September 2010, located on the 6th –and last- floor of a period building (with elevator to the 5th floor), nestled a few steps from Les Invalides and Saint Germain, in the heart of the Rive Gauche, in the 7th arrondissement.

This 30sq.mt apartment has been brilliantly renovated and designed by its architect, who maximized the layout to ensure an optimal use of space for the utmost comfort. Great care and attention to detail can be seen right from the entrance, offering a cosy day area with theliving areacomplete with a bluedouble sofa bed(14...0cm wide) facing a built-in book case with flat screen TV, a table with two chairs, ideal for dining or working, and a built-in closet (with two additional foldable chairs stored for the table). A lovely windows allows natural sunlight to flood the room during the day, whilst also looking out onto the charming rooftops of Paris, and for the night time its darkening blinds assure an undisturbed sleep. A door on the left leads into the small butseparate kitchen, modern and perfectly equipped with all necessities, including a microwave oven and a Nespresso machine.

To the right of the day area is the night area, where thedouble bedroomis furnished with adouble bed(140cm wide), and offers a large and comfortable built-in closet with three doors, and a second closet running along the entire length of the sloped wall, maximizing the space in the entire area. The apartment is located in the very heart of the lovelySaint-Germainneighbourhood, in the7ème arrondissementwhich, together with the6ème arrondissementand the Latin Quarter, is what the famousRive Gaucheis all about. The main streets of this neighbourhood are boulevard St Germain, which runs parallel to the River Seine, and rue de Rennes, which goes from Place de St Germain des Prés to Tour Montparnasse.
St Germain is known world wide for having been the chosen lieu of an entire literary class, and numerous neighbourhood places still today maintain the aura if yonder years: the super packed Café de Flore (facing the church of St Germain des Prés) is probably the most famous of these cafés.
The narrow streets and alleys around Place St Germain des Prés are always vibrant and lively all day long, and at night time crowded with Jazz lovers attracted by all the local bars offering live music.
For shopaholics the close by rue du Four is a must see, as is the elegant and famous Bon Marché, historically the first Parisian department store, divided into two buildings: one for high end clothes and accessories, the other for gourmet food from all over the world.

  While everything in the apartment was first class, getting in to it was problemetic. The key to the ground floor door was difficult to manipulate and the tiny lift to only the 5th floor (the apartment was on the 6th) made getting in and out with luggage difficult. Otherwise we loved our stay.

  We are family from Cyprus. We spend our Easter holiday in Paris. Everything was very nice. Apartment are small but very-very useful. Area is quiet, only few steps from metro, mini-market, bakery. 5 minutes walking from Hotel d'Invalides. So next our visit to Paris we will rent this apartment again. Staff(Daniel) helpful, friendly and very nice person.
