      Perfect Honeymoon

Left on 04/04/2013 for a stay in September 2011

My husband and I stayed in this gem of a place on our first trip to paris, which also happened to be our honeymoon. It was one of the most magical experiences we have ever had. As with all places, it is not perfect but it was perfecto for us. I am so glad to see that it is now on Trip advisor so I can give it a review.

      The Good:
      - This place is huge, especially by Parisian standards.
      - The building is adorable. I have a picture of the staircase that I use as my background picture on my computer.
      - There is an elevator. I never used it, but it's there.
      - The bedroom has a real bed and is separate from the rest of the flat.
      - The bedroom is quiet. This is a huge deal in Paris in a great location.
      - Great location. Central to everything.
      - It has a shower head mounted on the wall, not one that you have to hold up. Big deal.
      - Owner had arranged for someone to meet us and they went through everything with us very thoroughly.
      - A few screws came up in the bathroom and when we told her during the walkthrough she didn't accuse us of breaking it as some places do. She realized it was normal wear and tear. I know this sounds odd, but I have stayed in a lot of apartments and and this was the easiest walk through ever.

The not so good (no where's perfect)
      - The bed is really hard, but it's paris so that's kind of expected.
      - The screws on the toilet seat came up. They were nice about it and so it was really a non issue
      - The shower head is positioned a little weird, but this being paris just having it on the wall is a huge win for us.

All in all I would love to stay here again in the future. The location is spectacular, the apartment is excellent value for money and the owner is wonderful. You can't ask for me. Now go, book this apartment, and enjoy Paris!

      Excellent Location

Left on 03/07/2012 for a stay in February 2012

This studio apartment is very small (but so are all Paris apartments) and it is not luxurious but the location is absolutely brilliant and it has everything you need to be safe and comfortable. It is one block from the Rue Cler which has the brilliant fresh market shops, 400 metres from Les Invalides and you can walk to the Louvre, Champs Elysees easily. It has a small kitchen, bathroom, separate toilet, couch and bed. There is not much room but if you are in Paris you should be out and about anyway and only come back to sleep. It is clean, convenient and in an amazing location for visitors to Paris. You can believe everything they tell you on their website as you are dealing with the owners and they give you a lot of information, even down to cards to hand the taxi driver to get from the airport to the studio or back home after a night out.

Dear Guest, Your comments doesn't match the description for this apartment. You are describing a studio steps from Rue Cler, this one bedroom apartmnet is located near the Orsay Museum and the river so I think your posting is meant to be for another place.

      Just about perfect.

Left on 08/12/2011 for a stay in April 2011

We were met by the host with a complete and thorough introduction to the area. Her English was perfect and she was available by phone when I needed help with the answering machine. It was a spacious and complete apartment with washer and dryer that was ever so welcome. We utilized the kitchen for quick breakfasts before long day adventures and often came back for wine, cheese and bread picnics after a long day. The Musee D'Orsay was literally around the corner. It was quiet, safe, and very convenient to the I don't think we will ever think about using a hotel again in Paris. The value, the amount of space and the location were perfect. Only one bedroom for a single or a couple and 2 flights of stairs to the apartment although there was a very tiny elevator. Getting the lights figured out in the building hallways was tricky.

      Ideal Location

Left on 03/11/2011 for a stay in November 2010

The apartment is centrally located to both public transportation and within walking distance to many Paris sights. The apartment itself is very comfortable for two people and the decor is what you would expect in a Parisian apartment. We had a fantastic time and felt right at home. The staff at France: Homestyle were very helpful before, during and after our stay. On our next trip to Paris we would definitely check to see if this apartment is available before looking at anything else. We loved it!

      A touch of Paris

Left on 03/01/2011 for a stay in September 2010

This apartment is as close as you can come to "living like the French." It is located in a residential building in a very prestigious area of the 7th arrondisement of Paris. The apartment is well appointed, quiet and there is a fabulous boulangerie on the corner! A convenience store (8 a 8) is steps away, as are the Musee d'Orsay, the Seine, the Tuileries, Boulevard St. Germain, the metro and a bus stop. Closet space is challenging but manageable. The apartment faces the interior courtyard and has wonderful sunlight coming through the living and bedroom windows. France Homestyle local representatives are always punctual and helpful.
