A Great Place to Stay in Paris !
My wife and I stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks in May 2012. After much frustration searching websites of apartment letting agencies we were fortunate enough to find this apartment on Flipkey. On contacting Beatrice, the owner, we received an immediate and professional response.
The apartment is exactly as you see it in the website photos.
*Spotlessly clean *Modern *Very Quiet *Courtyard View *Light and airy *Comfortable *Safe and Secure (Two coded entry doors before you cross the courtyard).
*Well equipped *Modern appliances *Comprehensive notes & instructions. *Free WiFi and Free International Telephone calls. The bed is not large but we found it very comfortable and slept well.
Great Location! In a quiet street, close to Metro, other transport, Supermarket, Restaurants, etc. Many of the city's attractions are well within walking distance. Given the location, size of the apartment (40m2) and the amenities, the apartment is very good value.
There are three flights of stairs to reach the apartment (no elevator) and the bathroom is small. These minor negatives were far outweighed by the many positives.
We loved staying here and really felt it was our "home' in Paris. We always felt comfortable and relaxed when we returned to the apartment after a day of sightseeing. Owner Beatrice really cares that her guests are comfortable and enjoying their stay. She was always prompt and professional in all her communications and it was a pleasure to deal with her.
We have already recommended this apartment to friends and we would not hesitate to stay here again if we have the opportunity to return to Paris.

live like a Parisian
We stayed at this apartment for the month of april, location could not be better. We felt like we really lived here the neighborhood was great, several restaurants and shopping. Just a couple blocks away was Rue Cler, busy market street. The apartment is just as it appears to be on Flipkey web site, very bright and clean, we enjoyed looking out on the courtyard and oh so quiet! Beatrice the owner was so nice to work with you felt like you had a new friend. There is a manager in residence that was very available if you needed anything. There are a few flights of stairs to the apartment which helped work off the extra calories from frequenting all the great restaraunts. We would definitely go back.

Perfect stay in Paris
My husband and I stayed at this lovely 1 bedroom apartment and couldn't have asked for a better experience. It is very elegant, clean, modern, and comfortable. Beatrice pays a lot of attention to details. We felt very much at home. The location is perfect- just a 2 blocks from one metro stop (several other stops nearby), an easy walk to Rue Cler with all its markets and restaurants, the Eiffel tower, Rue Saint Dominique with several great restaurants (including 3 of Christian Constant's), grocery stores, bakeries. The bed/bedroom is so comfortable. The kitchen is very well appointed - we had everything we needed to cook our great finds from the Bastille fresh market (not only dishes, pot/pans, utensils, but also basic spices, oils, tea, etc). The bathroom is small but extremely clean and the hot water is unlimited! Beatrice is great- very professional and friendly, responded to emails very promptly and gave us a great list of tips (not only for the apartment but the neighborhood). We would stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return to Paris and would definitely recommend it to all our friends and family.
This apartment is in a perfect location. Close to the metro and walking
distance to many attractions. We felt safe and secure with the locked doors that led to a private courtyard. It is a nice as the pictures show. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. There were 3 (adults) and we had plenty of room. The owner is helpful and
available to answer any questions you may have.
Great Local and a nice apartment
We (3 adults) stayed here for four days. The apartment is perfectly located for bus, metro, RER, and two blocks from the rue de Clar markets and all the nice shops of the area. Invalides and Effel Tower are easy walks. We enjoy walking and walked to Notre Dame and back one day taking in Tuileries and the arc de Triomphe before heading south to the apartment.
Beatrice kept in contact with us and answered any questions which we had.
The only issue was the instant demand hot water was not controling properly, but that was fixed before we left.
The kitchen is modern and very well equipped. There is plenty of storage space. The apartment is quiet, located on a secure inner court. The neighbors are friendly.
I asked my family if they would prefer an apartment or hotel the next time we came, and they instantly agreed that the apartment was the best.

Perfect Paris Visit
My friends and I were lucky enough to spend a week in this exquisite apartment . I have stayed perhaps a dozen times in this Rue Cler area, but always in hotels. And by far this has been my favorite visit. The living and bedroom areas were spacious and bright. The large windows let in leaf dappled sunlight but no noise because of their quiet courtyard view. The kitchen was modern and well furnished. The bathroom was cozy with plenty of hot water. All was as described in listing and everything was spotlessly clean. The apartment is on a quiet street with a user friendly Metro literally around the corner. If you know this location you know it is Paris at its best. A glance at a map shows that within minutes on foot you can see much of what Paris is famous for, like the Eiffel when it twinkles or the blinding reflection of the Invalides Dome. But you can also discover your "own" Paris, like the warm Brioche Sucre I bought that made me moan, or sitting at a cafe eating croissants while the fashionable French children scurry to school. Delicious restaurants abound in this neighborhood. Several you may have read about like Christian Constant's Les Coquettes or Basque chef Stephane Jego's L'Ami Jean. But you can also eat reasonably by buying quality ingredients at the Rue Cler market or at the deli we loved so much on that same street called Davoli. Possibilities are endless.
I have saved the best for last. That would be Beatrice herself who owns this apartment. She was beyond helpful, accommodating our every need. She went out of her way to fit our schedule at both the beginning at end of our trip. (We didn't want to miss a Rue Cler Flea Market. Would you?) Her taste and thoughtfulness shows through in every detail, from the fresh Orchid on the table to the quality towels and sheets. If the fates are kind I will return to Paris and this apartment will be my address.
Even though I was finally not able to stay at the apartment, I experienced the owner to be very helpful and responsive. I had several requests like early check in and baby cots and was very well supported. Unfortunately the whole trip to Paris got canceled. Next time I would like to take a chance on this place again.

Loved it so much we didn't want to leave.
My husband and I were lucky enough to find this property at the last minute. What a great find. We have rented 4 different apartments in Paris and this was not only the best apartment but it was in the best location.
The apartment is located about 4 blocks from the Invalides and 3 blocks from Rue Clare. Rue Clare is a great walking street with wonderful markets and terraced restaurants. The metro stop is 2 blocks from the apartment.
The apartment itself, faces a courtyard so it is quiet and peaceful. A big plus after a full day of walking. The apartment was spotless and very well maintained. I think the owners did a new remodel on it recently. At least it looks like they did. The windows were oversized so the apartment is flooded with light. The bed was very comfortable. My son stayed with us 2 nights and slept on the white futon couch. His report was, it was very comfortable.
The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make a great meal.
The owners were easy to deal with and very helpful.
I would highly recommend this property to families of 4 or 2 couples traveling together.
We will definitely reserve this property again.
San Francisco, California
The first thing that jumps out is the location. It couldn't be better with restaurants, café's, bakeries everything all around. A few hundred meters from the eiffel tower, the invalides, Blvd. St. Germain makes everything really close.
The apartment airy windows give on a perfectly quiet internal court yard with a grand tree as the dominant view.
Inside the decor, amenities and layout are perfect with a very comfortable bedroom and, in addition, the best, queen sized fold down couch I have ever see.
Cooking is a breeze in the compact, new, well equipped kitchen and the bathroom/shower, tight, fits the bill very well.
We'll definitely go back!
