Our Guisarde Holiday Apartment in St Germain is in one of the best places in Paris and close to transport ... You can explore all of Paris, with most of the major tourist attractions just a few minute's walk, the Louvre is just across the Seine at about 10 minutes walk, the Musée d'Orsay in only 5 minutes, the Saint-Michel is only 10 minutes. Of course, you are also at the heart of Saint Germain des Près, probably the district favorite of most visitors, with many shops and bistros, cafes and entertainment of the same name.
From the apartment, you are also at a 5 min walking distance from the metro stations Saint Germain des Prés, Saint Sulpice or Mabillon.

We've visited Paris numerous times, and this was our first apartment rental. The flat is located in the 6th near everything we wanted. I took a cooking class with Patricia Wells and it was a 6 minute walk to her studio. Dealing with Jacques was extremely easy and we had absolutely no problems whatsoever. We arrived hours earlier than expected and Jacques let us have the apartment ahead of schedule. I would say that while it would be possible to have a third person, you would be more comfortable with just two people in the flat. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at this apartment. The owner Jacques is professional, friendly and accomodating. The location is to die for. A great little street with endless choices of restaurants and pubs, and less than a 5 minute walk to the 4 and 10 lines. It was perfect for two adults with one teen, or 3 adults, or two adults and two smaller children. The shower had an endless stream of hot water and great water pressure - if you know Paris, you will understand why this is important. The kitchenette was well stocked and met our needs. While the street is busy in the evening, because the apartment is set back, you don't hear any street noise. We would stay here again in a heartbeat... Wifi was just what we needed to top it off!

The best thing about this place is it's location. It's right in the middle of all restaurants and bars. We enjoyed our stay. The place is brand new. Everything is renovated so it's very clean. However, it's not very big. It's perfect for a couple, maybe two young kids, but not 4 adults. The manager is very nice, arranged people to open the door for us and come to the apartment on time when we need to check out and helped us to call a cab.

My friend and I rented this apartment for a week's stay. Jacques has just remodeled the apartment in September 2011, with a modern, clean interior. the apartment is compact but comfortable, and has a functional kitchen and does have a washing machine- very handy when you like to pack light to leave room for all your shopping. While you could sleep 4 in the apartment, 2 or three is more realistic.
We had acouple of minor problems with the apartment while we were there, and Jacques responded extremely quickly and was very kind.
I would highly recommend this property also because of its fantastic location, with very easy walking distance to many sites and just a block or so from the nearest metro station. The apartment is on a street with numerous restaurants, a market, and many bars and cafes. Loads of shopping all around you as well, most of which are small boutiques with many options. -

A beautiful and brandnew renovated, very well organized appartment, good & very kindly service !
The location is central and optimal for walks around St. Germain. The appartment is located in a qiuet and romantic courtyard.
The kitchen is well equiped. We did not really miss anything.

We spent 7 nights in the Guisarde apartment in early June and absolutely loved it. Although the apartment is small, it has everything four people could want, comfortable bed and sofa bed, all new furniture and fixtures, free wireless internet, and free direct-dial phone to the us.
The location is wonderful to get lost in! We could have spent another week here just investigating this neighbourhood. There are many good restaurants close by and the boulangerie downstairs is excellent.
The extra special touches provided...the flower and fresh milk upon arrival, transportation to and from the airport...were very much appreciated.
Thank you very much. You made it a holiday of a lifetime!
