Completely renovated in 2012. Monuments, restaurants, and shopping nearby.
Our magnificent apartment is ideally located in a quiet and exceptionally safe area of the 7th district called Gros-Caillou, a very sought after village at the centre of Paris between the Eiffel Tower and the Invalides, and a few steps away from the Seine and the Champs-Elysées.

Vancouver, CanadaBeautiful apartment in a Safe, Upscale & Convenient Neighbourhoo
Left on 09/09/2012 for a stay in June 2012
Our family enjoyed our memorable stay during the last week in June, 2012. The favorable experience began well before we arrived in Paris. Setting up the rental was easy. Champaubert quickly answered all of our questions and sent over a rental agreement that was simple and clear. He also sent over an informative Welcome Guide he had prepared. It was filled with tips, recommendation, useful addresses and Faqs to quickly immerse us into the world of living like a local.
When we finally arrived, Champaubert was a wonderful host, greeting us at the apartment entrance and providing an excellent orientation of the apartment & neighbourhood. This spacious apartment was completely renovated making it clean, beautiful and welcoming. Internet connection was free. Storage and closet space was excellent, so we were able to unpack and settle in. The kitchen was well stocked with items to permit cooking when we chose to stay in. The bathroom had double sinks and a washer.
The very safe and upscale neighbourhood is filled with stores for fashion and epicurean fans along rue Saint-Dominique including an open market on rue Cler. Our kids really enjoyed picking up French breakfast items at the local grocery store. Each morning began with croissants, fresh fruits and cheeses as we planned our adventure for the day. At night, we were dazzled by the view of the Eiffel Tower's twinkling lights from the apartment. You get an even better view of the illumination show if you step outside to rue Saint-Dominique. With easy walking distance were the Eiffel Tower, Hotel des Invalides, Pont alexandre and the Rodin Museum. The apartment is also a short walk to the Invalides Metro station which makes it very easy to get to other major attractions throughout Paris.
I highly recommend this apartment. I have stayed at the Georges V and the Hotel de Crillon before but I now prefer this apartment because you can enjoy a much more immersive local experience in the best neighbourhood in Paris.

San FranciscoMy new apartment in Paris
Left on 08/25/2012 for a stay in July 2012
It is rare in Paris to find a place that is clean, quiet, modern, spacious, has a view and, nice landlords. This place is all that! I could leave my San Francisco place with a view of the bay and move in tomorrow.
We were 3 women who stayed in July and it was the perfect place! We had plenty of space for us each to have an area for our suitcase and stuff. There were 2 sinks in the bathroom, making getting ready in the mornings faster. Even with the fold out bed open in the living room, there was plenty of space to eat and work at the table and plan our day. The bedroom down the hall, allowed a quiet retreat from living room/kitchen activity. And of course, the morning and nighttime view of the Effiel Tower, reminded us we were in Paris-a city of romance, charm and wonder.
Like visiting a friend, there was a book with fabulous recommendations for restaurants, shopping and sites in the neighborhood. High end or casual, we were able to come home put our feet up and then head in the neighborhood for dinner. One of the great benefits of city living. The 7th is my new favorite neighborhood!
I highly recommend this place!

Left on 05/31/2012 for a stay in April 2012
My wife and I stayed here in late april and it was a terrific choice. The owner/manager lives close by and he was very helpful and interested in our enjoying ourselves there. There are a number of excellent restaurants across the street and around the corner. There are also a number of boulangeries close by for your morning croissant or pain au chocolat. The Invalides metro stop is about 10 minutes away and it is very easy to take the RER from De Gaulle to Invalides when you land in Paris.
The apartment itself is very comfortable with a very efficient kitchen, a roomy living room/dining room, a bedroom with plenty of storage and a very modern bathroom.
There is a washer, but no dryer - which is about the only negative I can think of. -

This apartment was gorgeous, and a wonderful experience for myself and my family. The apartment is very beautiful, and the location could not have been better. We were within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and all of the other attractions, and had easy access to busses, river tour boats, and the Metro for destinations farther away.
We are very active travelers and took in full days of activities each day, some very close, and others quite a distance away. It was such a pleasure to come "home" to our apartment after each very full day of sightseeing, shopping and activities. The location is great, with so many amazing local shops for groceries and culinary delights, as well as an abundance of incredible restaurants and shops within a single block or two, which made for easy outings for meals, groceries, shopping or sightseeing. The apartment is totally renovated with great appliances and amenities. I would highly recommend this option over a hotel stay, and this apartment is one of the finest that we could have secured, especially at the price.
Champaubert was such a wonderful host, making himself available for any questions, guidance or help that we needed, but not intruding unless we needed him. He takes exceptional care of this unit, and will ensure that your stay is luxurious and comfortable. We loved this place and will certainly return and reccommend it to others as well.
Thank you so much for making our holiday in Paris such a wonderful experience.
