The apartment is perfect for two and fully eqipped with everything one desires including Wi-Fi and free calls to USa. It's quiet and the management company which takes care of your stay works with the precission of the Swiss watch. I reccomend it highly.

The apartment is nearby Notre Dame Cathedral and for visitors it is the best place to stay on. Everything was great. I will come back to this apartment next holydays if I go to Paris. I'd like to thanks all the staffs.

TorontoIdeal location for a taste of Paris.
Left on 03/09/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We very much enjoyed our time in Paris and found the apartment ideally situated on a narrow, characteristic street steeped in history. It is very close to the cafes and restaurants but also adjacent to the neighbourhood markets, and a short walk to Notre Dame, d'Orsay and the Louvre. It is a quiet, warm, clean and welcoming home: a pleasure to return to after a days adventures.

660089Great Location but I think I could have done better...
Left on 02/02/2012 for a stay in January 2012
This was our first trip to Paris and after searching we decided that an apartment was the way to go. something with a little more room and a kitchen to cook breakfast and feel more like a local than a tourist (of couse walking around with a camera around my neck definitely made me the latter). After reading other reviews were prepared for the 4 flights of stairs and lugging our furniture up them was a chore but other than that they weren't too bad. The location is fantastic. Notre Dame is right there, just walk to the main road and it dominates your view. If you follow Rue Galande across Rue Saint Jacques there are more restaurants than you could imagine. Unfortuantely my girlfriend and I didn't find this out till towards the end of the trip when exploring the streets on a long walk back from Le Tour de Eiffel. The downside to the apartment is the rennovations were cheaply done with a few corners cut here and there to save time and money I'm sure. There is no view from the apartment itself unless you like looking into the alley. I think there are several options comparable in location and price that would offer more. Overall it was a great stay, and since most anyone there won't be in the apartment much of the time the cosmetic irregularities shouldn't make that much of a difference. The amenities catered to anything we could need, microwave, stove, washer/dryer combo, fridge etc. The bathroom was clean and plenty of hot water. The biggest factor in staying there agina would be that having a view at the end of the day to gaze at over a glass of wine would have mitigated any other short comings.

Comfortable, equipped with everything you need, situated two blocks from Shakespeare Books--lots of fabulous restaurants nearby. Be prepared to huff and puff up the stairs but the apartment is warm and cozy.

Minneapolis, MNHad everything that we needed in a great location
Left on 12/10/2011 for a stay in November 2011
We had a wonderful time in Paris and enjoyed the apartment. It had everything that we needed. It really made the trip affordable to be able to cook some meals at the apartment and pack lunches for during the day. We also loved the location with all the nearby cafes, patisseries, grocery stores, and convenient metro access. The free wireless internet was also very helpful. The only issues we had were the welcoming society were a few minutes late our first day and some of the other building tenants were very loud a couple of nights. However, they quieted down around 1am, which wasn't too bad. Overall, I would recommend your apartment(so long as the people are able to make it up five flights of rickety stairs!).

My daughter and I recently stayed at this lovely apartment in the St. Germane. The apartment was well equiped with all the amenties one could hope for. Great location, 4 grocery stores around the corner. Notre Dame with-in a 5 minute walk. I could not have asked for more. The service was very effcient. Please be aware, the stairs are not for the faint hearted or the heavy suitcased. I fully recommend this company and this apartment.

Very nice area with lots of restaurants and shops and popular destination for young people.Apartment is small but very functional .
The only thing that I would put as "to be 'fixed" are the stairs to the forth floor. There are very unsafe for people with small children and seniors.
Even a groceries shops and pastry shops and butcher shop and cheese shop, and of course -vine shop, are just around the corner.
I have to mention The oldest tree in Paris (1601) is just around the other corner in a small park near the apt.(must see) -

New JerseyFlawless stay in Paris
Left on 06/07/2011 for a stay in March 2011
Everything was absolutely great with the apartment! It was extremely convenient, close to the metro, and even walking distance from most of the main tourist attractions. It was also comfortable for 4 girls (if you're willing to fit 2 in a pull-out couch). Getting into the apartment was very easy with someone waiting downstairs for us and he even helped with our bags! I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in an upbeat and fun area and a true Parisian experience! Everything was lovely, clean, quiet in the apartment, easy, and accommodating. While almost everything was provided for us, be prepared to possibly provide little things such as extra toilet paper and hand towels. Someone was available to talk to the whole time we were there when we needed assistance with anything.

Left on 04/25/2011 for a stay in April 2011
We travelled with 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 9 7 11). This flat was as described and photographed.
Thierry was easy to contact and communicate with via emai.
This is a great neighborhood to walk and explore and is close to Notre Dame as well as the metro/RER and grocery shopping.
My only caution would be if there are any mobility problems, the stair climbing up to the flat might be an issue. -

It was a treat to finally meet Thierry, and he was very helpful when we arrived. He helped carry a suitcase up the stairs (which are considerable), and took us out in the neighborhood to show us some key resources such as a grocery store. The location is really great for a visit to the Latin Quarter, and Notre Dame is just a few minutes walk away.

Albuquerque, New MexicoCharming apartment in the heart of Paris!
Left on 11/16/2010 for a stay in October 2010
My husband and I were warmly greeted by Thierry, the owner/manager of this apartment, and given a brief tour of the neighborhood. Although there were about 75 stairs to climb (& no elevator) to reach the apt., the accommodations were cosy and restful. We had nearly every home appliance provided and felt very much at home. Because the apartment has modern furnishings, including a lot of glass, a rather challenging entry, and a tricky step dividing parts of the apartment, it may not be suitable for little kids or people with mobility issues. Over all, though, it was a remarkable location. We felt quite safe in this tranquil and private location and enjoyed our visit very much.

Left on 10/26/2010 for a stay in October 2010
We were extremely satisfied with your apartment. There was not one thing we could say was wrong with it. Ideal location, clean, quiet, everything in working order. Actually enjoyed climbing the stairs once or twice a day - kept us fit. You could not find a more ideal location for a stay in Paris. It is literally one block from Notre Dame and the entire area (Latin Quarter and St. Germain) is so unique. We spent hours walking every day. And there is a small grocery store just down the street where we stopped almost daily for our wine and baguettes. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

Left on 10/24/2010 for a stay in September 2010
Location is a+++. Notre Dame literally outside the front door, metro station around corner, Seine River, bakeries, restaurants, supermarket (selling food and cheap grog) all very, very close. Thierry the owner was excellent. Met us at the apartment, showed us through everything and then walked around the streets with us pointing out the best places to eat and buy from. Wow - very impressed in that one on one service - and all for so much cheaper than the hotels in the area. Room is compact - all rooms in Paris are small - and we had all the essentials needed (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, hot plates, etc). Free WiFi. Bonus was that we could use the phone to make free calls back to australia landlines. I challenge anyone to find anywhere as good, in such an excellent location for this price. And yes, there was stairs - but so what I prefer stairs to tiny clickity clackity lifts that only fit one person in them! Our family highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed!

VancouverGreat little apartment in an ideal location
Left on 03/21/2010 for a stay in March 2010
This is the second time that I have stayed in this apartment. Thierry (the person renting it) is welcoming and helpful. The first time I was there he took me around the neighbourhood and showed me the market and supermarket and the best bateaux to take.
It is compact but spacious enough for two very comfortably. It is in a wonderful location, within walking distance of many sites and in a part of Paris where one is happy to walk in any direction.
The well-equipped little kitchen is perfect. I like the fact that it has a clothes washing machine.
And I felt I was living in a real French apartment not a tourist hotel.
It was very cold in Paris when we were there but the apartment was warm and cozy. When I was there previously it was in August but we managed to keep it cool by closing the blinds during the day.
I would highly recommend this apartment. -

Left on 02/14/2010 for a stay in February 2010
We stayed in the apartment for one week and loved everything about it. The landlord was very helpful, showing us local restaurants, pastry shops, and the market area. The apartment was quiet and local to everything, had excellent amenities, and easily accessible from the airport RER. We have no negative review for the apartment and will contact this landlord first for any apartment he controls as soon as we have the chance to return to Paris.

Left on 01/10/2010 for a stay in November 2009
We just wanted to thank you for the lovely apartment in rue Galande. It was lovely and quiet, just as your website said. It was very central and we recommend the patisserie just across the street. Thank you for meeting us and making recommendations and showing us the nearby shops.
Internet access was no problem, so our daughter was able to keep in touch!
When we needed assistance the owner was more than happy to assist and was very responsive.
On the down side, it was a bit small for three of us, would have been ideal for only 2, but then it's location made up for the size.
We would be very happy to rent an apartment from the owner again, whether this one or another. -
