      Great location in Latin Quarter

Left on 05/08/2013 for a stay in May 2013

I rented a different apartment on Blvd de Port Royal from the same manager. The studio apartment was clean, minimalist, and comfortable. It worked well for 2 people sharing a bed. The location is excellent, being an easy walk to the Latin Quarter, and near Metro Raspail & RER Port Royal. There are plenty of close-by restaurants and grocery stores. The apartment has a mini-kitchen and stand-up shower. The room and kitchen are bright.

Great Location and a compliant owner but a bit grotty.

Left on 10/03/2012 for a stay in September 2012

Fantastic location close to the Metro and Notre Dame, but the owner is doing his own renovations so there are wires hanging out the wall and he hasn't got around to fixing the washing machine. Mold in the Bathroom, and when he first let us into the apartment he hadn't cleaned up after the last tenants. Really nice guy though.

Response from Mr. Didier Prudhomme - 11/20/2012

      Mr. Didier Prudhomme

      Owner

We are reliant on customer feedback and thank you for taking the time to do this here. However, this review could be more helpful if there weren't so many false allegations in it: 1) wires hanging out the wall 2) not working washer; 3)mold in the bathroom, 4) apartment not cleaned up after previous guests !!!
Our vision is to please the guests with all our best effort. Should something go wrong during their stay ( something not even necessarily related to the rental) they can call us 24/24 for assistance...
But at least thank you for thinking of me as a nice person.

      Perfect location

Left on 06/07/2012 for a stay in May 2012

There was a double booking with our original choice and Didier (the owner) offered this apartment as an alternative - we knew it would be a tight squeeze and it was (2 adults, a teenager and a baby - would recommend it for one or the other, but not both!) but we didn't go to Paris to sit in the apartment all day! Didier was extremely helpful, meeting us at the apartment at 10.30 on a Saturday night with the travel cot already set up for our tired baby, and he provided a high chair and baby bath too. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, with the added bonus of a balcony to sit on and a lovely bakery around the corner for our breakfast croissants! It is a quiet street (apart from the street cleaning at 5am but that's Paris!) - we were worried that the Paradis cabaret next door would be noisy but we didn't hear a thing. The best thing though is the location - 10 minute walk from Notre Dame, 15 minutes from St Germain or the Marais, the perfect Parisian experience!

Quaint apartment, good location, great service.

Left on 01/13/2012 for a stay in December 2011

The Left Bank/Latin Quarter apartment I enquired about wasn't available but Monsieur Prudhomme was very helpful in offering a range of other places he manages. The apartment we stayed at was a one bedroom, one bath, one kitchen and one living/dining room place on Rue Blomet near the Volontaire Metro.

The place was clean, well located and sufficient for all our cooking needs. Wifi internet was also a major plus for us. The only downside was that the bathroom and shower was a tad cramped. Other than that, would recommend Monsieur Prudhomme's services and apartments to anyone looking for a well priced short term rental in Paris.

A charming studio in a great location with a very welcoming host

Left on 11/04/2011 for a stay in October 2011

We had initially contacted Mr. Prudhomme about renting this property, but it was not available for the time we needed. He proposed an alternate property near Les Invalides and the Champ de Mars. The price was fantastic, and the apartment offered everything we needed.
The neighborhood around the apartment had a good variety of shops, bakeries, and cafes, and the apartment itself was quiet and comfortable, even with the renovations being performed to the exterior facade.
The manager/owner of the property, Mr. Didier Prudhomme is perhaps the best property manager I have ever dealt with. He was professional in all communications, prompt, courteous, and tremendously helpful in helping my wife and I get oriented in "our" apartment and neighborhood.
We would absolutely recommend staying in an apartment managed by Mr. Prudhomme again without any hesitation.

      What a great apartment

Left on 08/12/2011 for a stay in February 2011

So well located, two terrific boulangeries minutes walk away, a stroll to Notre Dame and the islands there with the wonderful ice creams. A stroll to the Centre du Monde arabe - fantastic views across Paris, a slightly longer stroll to Bastille. The place was quiet and well equipped - three of us stayed there and we cooked and pretended to be living the life just a little. M. Prudhomme could not have been more helpful and friendly.

      Alternative apartment offered

Left on 08/12/2011 for a stay in March 2011

This apartment wasn't available but the owner got back with an alternative studio. This was a little small but fine for our needs. It had a separate kitchen and bathroom. One negative point was the noise from a neighbour's small children who woke early in the morning, but as new grandparents we were not too disturbed by this. The owner was very good to work with, he gave clear instructions for paying the rent and was there to greet us when we arrived.

An adorably quaint, centrally located apartment

Left on 07/27/2011 for a stay in June 2011

I stayed in the apartment on Port Royal for 2 weeks. Didier was there to warmly welcome me and help me settle in to this clean, well maintained apartment. It was perfectly located for me - close to the centre of Paris, yet far enough away to be quiet and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again (or in another of his places) when I go back!

      Fantastic Value in Latin Quarter

Left on 06/18/2011 for a stay in June 2011

As a business advisor, I always enjoy doing business with someone who understands basic business fundamentals - Value, Service, Promptness, and Pursuit of Excellence. Didier has accomplished all of these with his offering in Unit #328 where my wife and I stayed. This was our first experience renting an apartment in Paris having visited Paris two times before this. From the first email, Didier, was prompt in answering all of my questions. In fact, he communicated each time his 24/7 availability. Prior concerns that this unit was near Paradis Latin were dimished when I found out about Paris noise restrictions. The fact is, when staying at Unit #328, with the window doors closed, we heard no noise. Perfectly quiet! Our arrival to the unit was greeted by one of Didier's assistants who carefully and precisely showed us everything that we needed to know about living in and using this unit. His explainations were outstanding! To follow is an email that I sent to Didier after returning to the USa: "Just a quick note to say how much Debbie and I enjoyed our stay in your apartment. It was a great location and quiet (no noise from Paradis Latin). We look forward to a return to Paris within the next few years – maybe sooner, and we hope to rent again from you. Our expectations were exceeded. The size of the apartment was perfect for us. The bed was a good size. The bathroom was great. Since we didn’t use the kitchen much, the small size did not matter. We love that it was on the 5th floor and that it had a balcony with glass doors. Finally, having a TV, wireless internet, and washing machine was fantastique."

Great affordable rental in a central location

Left on 12/08/2010 for a stay in December 2010

Excellent location within walking distance to Notre Dame and Luxembourg Garden. Didier, the owner, is very helpful and dealt with our 18 hour flight delay gracefully. All the amenities are within two blocks, a supermarket, post office, laundry, and the best baguettes in Paris (I'm a baking school graduate so this is an expert opinion). I highly recommend this rental. Thanks Didier!

Left on 03/15/2010 for a stay in March 2010

We would like to thank the owner for his personal attention to us during this short stay; (despite our very last minute reservation). From the moment we arrived we knew that we were in good hands if we needed anything. The area was very central, perfect for us and we enjoyed our stay there.
We will certainly contact him again.
