My daughter and I stayed at a beautiful apartment on Rue Broca. Our host Mr.Alain Richemond went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Alain is very kind and considerate; he has a heart and a charming manner.
The apartment was very comfortable; it had a complete kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, a washer and dryer, a spacious bathroom with a tub. All necessary supplies were provided, paper products, dishes, silverware, some pots, an electric kettle, toaster, etc. There was a queen bed and a very comfortable queen sofabed, as well as a single sofabed.
The Censier-Daubenton metro was 10 minutes away from the flat. The neighborhood was safe and there were cafes and restaurants close by. Within walking distance was the awesome Mouffetard Market and very good bakeries.
We enjoyed our stay in Paris. When we were exhausted it was a blessing to return to our lovely home away from home.
Thank you alain!

Adorable, very modern and clean apartment with all the amenities that you need. Lovely area, and great bistros and fruit markets. Two grocery stores on Rue Mouffetard, at the top is even a Hagen Daz shop. Chocolate shops and wonderful pastries all over. Close to the subway which has easy access to all the sights of Paris.
Renting from alain was a wonderful and easy experience.

Alain's place is very confortable, we are a family of 4 and enjoyed our 1 week stay in early april. Nearby are plenty of bakeries, groceries, and market stalls, and the kitchen allows for simple meals to be prepared, saving some money compared to eating every meal in a restaurant. The location is just a few blocks away from a metro station, and can also be walked to from the RER B line station (Luxembourg). If you have younger kids, the park at Luxembourg is a nice treat after visiting the Pantheon, or the Cluny Museum (both in the 5th arrondisment, and walking distance).

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment.
We had all conforts mentioned and within minutes we felt like home.
The location was brilliant and allowed us to explore Paris and one of most characteristic district (Latin Quarter).

Alain is a wonderful host. His apartment in Paris is very clean and provided everything we needed for our anniversary trip to beautiful Paris. We enjoyed good food from the Mouffetard Market, lovely cafes, and restaurants. The metro is nearby and we enjoyed walking in the beautiful gardens and historic sites of downtown Paris. The apartment is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a quiet and perfectly appointed oasis.

Having never used this service before, it felt odd to hand over $900 cash upon arrival, but of course all went well.
The apartment is very clean and functional. It is not a cute and charming Parisian loft, but it is in a great location, and it has many amenities that other places lack, like a real oven. We ate dinners in most evenings, (we like to cook), and with Rue Mouffetard minutes away, we sampled everything from rotisserie chicken to good French butter and yogurt. The gourmet food chain Picard was a great find, too.
The bed is comfortable, everything works and there are no stairs to contend with. Alain was easy to deal with, and it was a successful visit.

This apartment was in the absolutely perfect location!! The Mouffetard market is just a couple of blocks away and has everything you could possibly want. The size of the apartment is definitely compatible with 2-4 people to sleep, although it would be hard to fit the belongings of 4 people in the closet and shelving areas. It had everything we needed, and it served as the perfect oasis for our time in Paris. Unfortunately, the next door neighbor was doing some construction work while we were there, which started promptly at 9am each weekday so that was quite noisy. But overall, the apartment was perfect and we will definitely return if we ever come back to Paris!

The apartment was comfortable, clean and convenient, and the welcome by alain was exemplary - warm and friendly. The apartment is located in one of the nicest quarters of Paris, with four or five bus lines in close proximity to take you easily to other parts of the city. No trouble sleeping, either - the apartment is on a secluded courtyard, well away from any traffic noises. We loved it.

Alain Richemond's apartment was for us the perfect location in Paris; a quiet environment with an easy and secure access. It is on the first floor with no steps and the French doors open onto a courtyard garden. Newly renovated, this ultra-modern apartment is within an easy five minute walk from the Censier Baubenton Metro Station. Between the metro station and the apartment is the Mouffetard Market area. Rue Mouffetard has all the elements we ever dreamt of finding in a market. It is vast corridor of everything we could ever have wanted to see in foods, fresh and cooked, bakeries, restaurants and shops.
Beyond Mouffetard in one direction are the Luxembourg Gardens less than a half hour stroll away down Boulevard de Port Royal. Such a place is almost too beautiful to be described. We sat there for three hours one warm October afternoon not wanting to leave. In opposite direction from the apartment, about 15 minutes away, is Jardin des Plantes with more breathtaking beauty, a museum of natural history and a menagerie. What a front and back yard!
Everything and every place is accessible through the Metro and thus minutes away. Why walk when you can ride. For instance, the Metro took us to the Louvre in less than 15 minutes. When we had had enough of being out in the afternoon or late in the evening we came back to a neighborhood that felt like the security of home. It was all convenient and pleasant.
The city itself is electric with energy and has a dynamism and charm that has to be experienced to be believed. Everyone was helpful and nice.
No more hotels for us in Paris. This apartment was the most comfortable accommodation imaginable and so we will only want to be here in the future. Alain could not have been more helpful and accommodating in everything to do with our stay. What a lovely person. -

We decided to take our 2 year old to Paris for his very first time. We needed a home that was perfectly located, clean, safe, comfortable, with a great kitchen and with laundry - the apartment has all of this and is well equipped.
We spent our days exploring the city and in the evening we would stop by at the gorgeous Mouffetard Market to pick dinner up. Our 2 year old goes to bed earlier than us, so having a partition worked great for us too.
The apartment owner and his wife are delightful and have done an excellent job in setting up their rental apartment. We will definitely be recommending to friends and hope to come back in the coming year. -

Couldn't have had a better spot in Paris to base out of. This apartment is in the Latin Quarter, near the Mouffetard Market. It was great to feel like we lived in Paris on our vacation, shopping for local cheeses and baked goods at the market. Our nightly walk was a route from the apartment, around Notre Dame Cathedral, and back. One word of advice for my fellow americans who, like me, may be spoiled with 24/7 conditioned air - this apartment is pretty warm in the summertime. This isn't the Hyatt with central air, there is just a small stand-alone window-style unit fighting the radiant heat from all the other un-cooled apartments in the rest of the building. We had some trouble sleeping, as it was pretty sticky. That being said, unless you stay in a big hotel, it is going to be hard to find central air anywhere in Paris. For an apartment, this is probably as good as it gets.

We have spent a wonderful few days and have really enjoyed staying in this lovely apartment in the Latin Quarter. Thank you for providing such a well designed, clean and well-equipped apartment perfect for us. It could not be a better location and better condition. We love the open window on our little courtyard in the morning!

Great value! This apartment is beautifully located, clean, modern, very well equipped, and although it is small, it is well designed and quite comfortable for a family with teenagers. Both bed and sofa bed were very comfortable, plenty of storage, nice windows opening on to courtyard, fresh flowers and basic needs in the refrigerator, and...air conditioning! (unusual for Paris) We returned each night to the excellent neighborhood restaurants and loved the Rue Mouffetard markets for breakfast and picnic items. Monsieur Richemond is very pleasant and graciously helped us with figuring out the internet even though it was just a case of misreading his clear instructions.

Left on 07/11/2010 for a stay in July 2010
I have rented many properties and this is by far the nicest place I have rented. The appartment is brand new, the furniture is beautiful (not your typical Ikea rental) and you have all the best amenities (Nespresso machine, dishwasher, etc.), such a pretty view - not to mention the area - typically Parisian, welcoming, in the heart of everything and yet so calm. The place is spotless, you get a bottle of wine when you arrive... What else could you ask for? Air conditioning? Internet? Flatscreen TV? Washing machine? Hairdryer? You have it all. Enjoy your stay and the Parisian way of life...

I stayed in this lovely and quiet apartment with my wife for an extended Independance Day weekend (July 3 to 7). The place has been recently renovated by the owner. It is a few minutes away by foot from the Mouffetard market. The only drawback: too much sun, so we had to use the a/C! Good value for money. Will stay again.
