The apartment is in an enviable location: in the famousSaint-Germainneighbourhood, right in the heart of the5ème arrondissement, the property is a mere few steps from the Pantheon, from the lovely Jardins du Luxembourg, and only 5 minutes on foot from the Latin Quarter and Notre-Dame Cathedral.
The Medieval Museum is only 5 minutes away (6, place Painlevé)
The closest metro is within 10 minutes walking distance: Maubert-Mutualité (line 10); also within 10 minutes is the Luxembourg stop of the RER (line B, direct for the Roissy-Charles De Gaulle airport).

I had a wonderful time in Paris with my two children, everything about the apartment and the service from halldis.com met my expectations, even exceeded them!
The location in the Latin quarter was excellent, we really got a feel for authentic Parisian lifestyle,visiting local restaurants and market, as well as being within walking distance of the main tourist attractions.

nice place, great location, very clean and funcional for young people, the apartment is at the second floor without elevator, and the bed is upstairs, like , you need to climb a narrow stair to go to sleep, which is ok for young people, bur for olders persons, be careful ... The entrance and the stairs of the old building could be cleaner...this need improvements...but , you know, our stay there has been great.

The location is great with good amenities. The apartment is small but that was expected. Had a good time due to the convenient location, close to metro and Notre Dame. In the summers it could get really hot as there is no air conditioning and lack of any fan.
Safe neighborhood with bars and restaurant just around the corner. For a great feel of Paris it is definitely recommended. The service was great right from booking to check out. It is professional yet friendly. -

A great disappointment!
Overall we disliked this rental property.What you see, what was described it to be and what the reality is, are quite different. The sleeping area in it is not fitting for the average North american traveler with any sense of expectancy. Needless to say or vacation was not the most pleasant. This accommodation is perhaps best suited for a single individual-only!
This and other issues were brought to the attention of Halldis International after the fact, all of which did not come to any retributive resolution.The process of resolution contained elements that were outright non-befitting, less than desirable or unexpected from Halldis.
While we have been with Halldis before, this is unacceptable and had seriously mage us reconsider any future rentals from Halldis International.

excellent location - close to notredame, and heaps of great cafes and restaurants and shopping within 10 mins walk.
apartment was comfortable and spacious enough for what we needed. double loft bed was ok, not the largest most comfortable bed but sufficient. we stayed in summer, when it was warm. there was no aircon, so we left the windows open and there was a lot of noise during the night from below as there are 3 bars nearby within 50m.
also, access to the loft is via stairs, so not suitable for older people.
overall, better value than any hotel we would have got for an equivalent price. would stay there again, but bring a fan!

Our flight got into Paris very early in the morning, and the agent kindly managed to meet us in the morning rather than the usual 3 pm and after check-in times. And as we had to leave early in the morning for our return flight, the agent came the night before our departure for check-out. The studio was every bit what I'd imagined from the descriptions and photos. Despite rather chilly temperatures, the place was warm enough (the towel warmer was terrific). The bed was comfortable, as was the pull-out bed in the sofa for a weekend friend. The kitchen had everything we needed (and we did do some cooking every day). The metro line isn't the most convenient, but the apartment is within very close walking distance (or a short metro ride) from centrally located stations.

I have rented apt. for many years in Italy and France. When I saw the two flights of decrepit stairs and a burned out light in the celing light I knew, with a sinking heart, that this was definitely not up to my standards.

Although small, comfortable enough accommodation. Sofa-bed seemingly very comfortable. Bed on mezzanine OK if you can cope with hard mattress and lack of space - very claustrophobic. Although we arrived later than expected Marco was very patient and made us very welcome, taking time to give full info about apartment. Great location - some really good restaurants close by.

The flat was fine except for the fact that we had been led to believe that there was a mezanine with a bed where in fact there was a matress on the floor with the roof just a few centimetres above our nose. It was really claustrophobic to have to sleep there!!!
