This romantic Paris apartment offers the unique atmosphere of the Latin Quarter, and is located on the topmost (6th) floor of a charming street in the fifth arrondissement. This elevator-accessed, beautiful, 125 sq. meter duplex offers fast Internet access, air conditioning on both levels, and has a magical view of the Notre Dame and Paris monuments from the romantic terrace.

First Level

Direct access to the apartment is by a keyed private elevator, which will take you up 6 floors to the apartment's first level, which consists of a spacious and bright living room with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area with table and six chairs..., washer/dryer, and chimney.

On the right side of this first level is a small corridor leading to a bedroom with ensuite bathroom and bathtub (toilet separate). This first bedroom has a king-size bed that can be split into 2 single beds.

Second Level

Stairs from the living area lead to a small upstairs living area, a patio and the terrace with a magic view of Notre Dame. To the left of this living area is another bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet located in the bathroom. This second bedroom has a queen size bed.

On the right of the upstairs living area is the third bedroom, with a desk and a "lit gigogne" (a French trundle bed, which is a single bed with another single bed that pulls out.)

Additional Location Information

Since the Middle Ages this riverside quarter has been dominated by the Sorbonne, and acquired its name from the early Latin-speaking students. It dates back to the Roman town across the Ilea de la Cite. The area is generally associated with artists and students, but the place also has a history of political unrest : In 1871, the Place Saint Michel became the center of the Paris Commune, and in May 1968, it was a site of student uprising.

The place contains many of the Paris monuments, museums and gardens, ranging from the brand-new Institut du Monde Arabe to the Middle Ages Mus�e de Cluny, or the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle in the Jardin des Plantes.

  Second time in Paris and probably the best view of the Notre Dame church we have ever seen. We had a very warm welcome at our arrival and a great service during our stay. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We will for sure come again just for the view!

  we were 2 couples sharing this "room with a view" the apartment with the balcony overlooking notre dame was everything we had hoped for and more. all the amenities, and elevator, air conditioning, full kitchen, washer/dryer, walk to subway, walk to shopping, fabulous cheese shop, view, View, view. lots of room to spread out. our contact in paris spoke perfect english and gave lots of great tips for getting around. each couple had their own private bathroom facilities
