Additional Location Information
- Neighbourhood and location : The Latin Quarter is an amazing location. Renowned for its narrow cobblestone streets and bustling cafes and bars, the Latin Quarter is one of the oldest areas of Paris and has been a hub for bohemian writers and students for centuries. Home to the Sorbonne University, Panthéon, Notre Dame Cathedral, Cluny Museum , and Shakespeare’s bookshop, the Latin Quarter has been an academic centre of knowledge since the 3rd Century. 200 metres from the Seine River and a short Metro ride to the Louvre and Eiffel tower, the Latin Quarter is one of the most central and sought after districts for tourists seeking the complete Parisian experience. The apartment is located 200 metres from the Saint Michel Metro Station which connects directly to both Charles De Gaulle and Orly Airports. Supermarkets, open air markets, cafes, restaurants and bars are also very close. With several other Metro Stations close by, taxis and cars are rarely necessary for transportation to anywhere in Paris.

TorontoA home away from home in an ideal location!
Left on 03/17/2013 for a stay in February 2013
From the moment I sent off my request re: availability to the moment we left the apartment, the service provided was outstanding - friendly, efficient & proactive. Even better? We were welcomed with a fresh baguette & a bottle of wine.
The apartment has all of the necessary amenities, which meant that we could enjoy leisurely breakfasts, surf the net, watch movies from the collection on the shelf & even do laundry. There was also a pile of travel books & restaurant recommendations to leaf through.
The apartment is modern, but in an historic location & so absolutely perfect for exploring nearby neighbourhoods on foot. We loved the easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, museums, shopping & everything else that Paris has to offer. The best part was the location & the feeling of having our very own Parisian pied-à-terre for a few days.
The only drawback is that the neighbourhood can get noisy on weekend nights. Not a problem for those who sleep deeply, of course!
Overall, we enjoyed a wonderful few days in the heart of the city of lights. We could return "home" easily when we needed a break from the sightseeing & head off again to explore more later in the same day.
I mustn't forget the access to public transit. Metro stops & buses are all mere metres away.
Instead of being confined to notoriously small hotel rooms, the apartment provided us with ample space to spread out & to relax & to enjoy our vacation time together (since there were three of us).
I would return anyday... -
Steve

My wife and my two children had a real great time in this apartment. We spent 8 days in an amazing place. The apartment was really comfortable and the Latin Quarter is one of the most central and sought after districts for tourists seeking the complete Parisian experience. The management staff was very helpful. We had a exceptional time in Paris and we definitely will recommend this apartment to our friends.
