Located in a quiet private gated street at 10 Rue Herran in the 16th arrondissement, in a beautifully maintained 18th century building, adorned with stain glass windows and a courtyard garden. This voluminous 25 meter studio (4.5 meter ceiling) loft apartment is a 5 minute walk to the Esplanade de Trocadero. This historic neighbourhood offers an abundance of restaurants, boutiques, and of course the Eiffel Tower. 15 minutes by foot and you are at Charles de Gaulle Etoile (Arc de Triomphe) with the most famous avenue in the world, the Champs Elysee. Very nice

Left on 04/02/2013 for a stay in March 2013

The apartment was perfectly located, with stores, grocery, bakeries, creperie, restaurants, pharmacy, flower shop, banks) just around the corner or just down the street. And to see the Eiffel Tower every single day as we walked to the metro... priceless.
The apartment itself is probably too small for 4 adults, but it was perfect for me and my son. The photos in this listing is pretty much what you see when you get to the apartment. My son had the bed up on the loft, which he claimed was very comfortable right away, and I had the foldout bed in the living room. We didn't really cook in the apartment, but all the utensils you'll need to make a meal is there, if you wish to do so. There is a washer, and after I figured out how to use it, it worked well. The internet worked perfectly. The toilet is a bit cramped for legroom and the shower stall is small, but we made it work for us.
The whole reservation transaction was handled smoothly, with Tracy answering all my questions before and during our stay. We arrived in Paris very early and was at the apartment an hour before we were expected to arrive. We could have gone to the restaurant down the street for breakfast, but the monsieur caretaker at the apartment kindly let us into the apartment after a short conversation (in french) and I explained to him our situation. Ed, Tracy's colleague, arrived shortly after and the final check-in was handled nicely and quickly.
All in all, a very excellent stay!

My son's first photo taken early morning when we arrived on March 23, 2013, and he walked just down the street from the apartment and this is what he saw... I think he fell in love with Paris again right after this.

Great location, clean, small, great for a couple.

Left on 02/07/2013 for a stay in May 2012

We stayed in this apartment with a family of four. It was a little cramped for us, but if it was a couple, it would have been perfect. The location is great in a very nice neighborhood in easy walking distance from the Eifel tower and other attractions. Access to lots of restaurants. The staff was great at getting us setup and very friendly. At the end of the day, perfect for two, tight with 4.

      Cozy pied-a-terre

Left on 02/07/2013 for a stay in July 2012

My wife and I spent 6 nights in Paris and this was a great launching pad for our daily adventures. The apartment is small but has all that is needed for someone who is going to be out and about. It's very comfortable and pretty quiet. Convenient to the Trocadero Metro station and there is a grocery store and several restaurants nearby. It is on the ground floor and so if you like the windows open as we do you need to be comfortable with passers-by, but the apartment is on a closed and gated street, so there's not much foot or car traffic. I'd definitely stay again.

      Perfect!

Left on 10/28/2012 for a stay in September 2012

I stayed in this apartment for a week; for the first few nights my daughter stayed with me (she in loft, me on foldout couch). We had business in the arrondissement which made the location perfect but, having stayed in busier districts, I'd be happy to return to this apartment for future Parisian stays. It's an easy walk to the Metro and in a quiet and very pleasant neighborhood with all the amenities (bakery, two supermarkets, etc.) a quick stroll away. Furthermore, the entire street has access only with a security code, adding an extra measure of safety in an already upscale neighborhood. The apartment itself is small but for a couple or two friends it's ideal. It has a washing machine (no dryer-there's a nearby laundromat if needed). I didn't do any cooking but brought in food most days and it was well-equipped for my simple needs. Shower has great water pressure and hot water, WiFi worked flawlessly, Tracy was easy to deal with. All in all I don't think I could have found a better place.

      Best location very cosy apartment!

Left on 04/06/2012 for a stay in January 2012

Cosy & cute apartment in the very heart of Paris. Effiel tower is right outside your doorstep and arc de Triumph is a short walk down the road. What a spectacular view it was of the city of light at night.

Coming from halway across the world from australia, we were a bit skeptical over renting an apartment overseas but it turned out this had been a very pleasant experience. The owner was very helpful and was there to show us around and hand us the key when we arrived. The apartment was in a very classy secured block, complete with the flash wooden French door and brass handles. There are plenty of heating from the two radiators in the apartment and if you like some fresh air then the big french window opens up to a fresh morning full of day light and bird songs.

There are plenty of shops and restaurant around and if you were like us and are travelling on a budget, there is a supermarket just around the corner for your shopping. The kitchen is plenty for your basic cooking. The bath room is spacious and the bed very comfy.

We fell in love with the city and part of the reason was because of this place. I would recommend this apartment for a couple on a romantic retreat to the city of love and light.

View of the tower from the apartment's doorstep. Effiel tower from the square. River walk in the morning. Happy in Paris Arc de Triumph just around the corner

      Cute apartment, amazing location!

Left on 07/08/2011 for a stay in June 2011

The apartment is nicely decorated, and in a safe neighbourhood. We were greeted warmly and everything was clean and tidy with fresh sheets etc waiting for us. We stayed for 3 weeks, and whilst it is definitely cozy, it is perfectly comfortable even for a longer stay. The kitchen is small but has everything you need to cook basic meals. The location is brilliant, better than expected - maybe 5 mins walk from the Eiffel tower, and you can also walk to the center in an hour or so if you are so inclined, otherwise there are several nearby Metro stops to choose from all with frequent and affordable service. We felt that the apartment is very reasonably priced for such an expensive neighbourhood. There are several supermarkets and local shops nearby, as well as a few bars etc. and whilst the area is lively the apartment itself is quiet. The owner was helpful and polite throughout all of our dealings. A good wifi connection was also provided. Overall we had a fantastic time in a beautiful city, and we felt good about coming home to the apartment in the evening. The only downside I can think of is that the floor in the bathroom can get a little wet if you are not careful when you shower!
