My adult daughter and I stayed for six nights in april and May 2013 and enjoyed our stay at this rental very much. It was exactly as described and was stocked with everything we needed. Owner Tracy was friendly and informative. We bought our daily baguettes at the local boulangerie and cheeses and roasted meats at local shops too.
We walked to nearby boutiques and shops for gifts and really felt at home in the neighborhood. We walked to the metros and buses we needed to reach all areas of Paris. I've been to Paris a few times and staying at this apt. ranks with the best stays I've had. -

My son and I stayed here for 4 nights on the second half of our stay in Paris. The first half, we stayed at another apartment from the same owner. The owner, Tracy, met us at the apartment to check us in, and welcomed us warmly and with a bottle of wine, too! This is a very nice apartment in a very nice location. Many restaurants, bakeries, boucheries (2 on the same street!), a cheese shop, pharmacy, and a grocery just across the street. There was always people walking on the street, even late a night into the early morning, especially on Friday and Saturday night. But with that, and even with a bar/restaurant on the ground floor of the same building as the apartment, which was open late into the night, the noise level was negligible from the living room where the other foldout/sofa bed was located. There is plenty of room in this apartment for 4 persons. The washer and dryer are a nice "bonus" with this apartment and can definitely help with much lighter packing requirements for anyone who stays here. We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment in this neighborhood. Thanks, Tracy!

We could not have envisioned such a great location and apartment with everything that met our needs and more! Truly an opportunity to experience Parisian life away from the tourist locations with fantastic access to the Metro. Take advantage of the Bastille open market on Mondays and the Okerhamph on Wednesdays practically at your doorstep! Tracy and Didier are outstanding hosts and facilitated a wonderful visit to this city! We will return and hopefully they will have an apartment available when we do!

My partner and I spent 9 days in the Oberkampf rental in October 2012. The owner made the booking process very easy, and helped with great directions for how to get to the apt. using trains and the Metro. Our check-in went very smoothly and we had a warm welcome, together a much enjoyed bottle of wine. The apartment is very comfortable and well-equipped with all of the little things that make a home such as herbs, spices, and oils in the kitchen, and plenty of towels and blankets. Having the use of a computer and washer and dryer (very rare in Paris!) was very useful. The sleeping area by the kitchen is very quiet at night, and even the Oberkampf side is quiet with the windows closed. We also loved the neighbourhood and its convenient access to all sorts of wonderful food (there are street markets nearby twice a week) and a very lively street, cafe, and restaurant scene. We didn't feel like we were among tourists at all, but that we were part of a real Parisian community. Thank you Tracy and Didier for such a wonderful stay!

We have stayed for three weeks in this lovely appartment. You have everything you need on it, the bed is really comfortable and the neighborhood is adorable, you have a street market on Thursdays and Sundays. The underground and buses stops are really near. This place has a perfect location to discover Paris.

The apartment is just at the foot of the paved in section of Canal St Martin, with an outdoor market on Wednesdays and Sundays (if I remember correctly!). Wonderful shops for groceries and a sushi restaurant (among other more French places) just steps from the door. Close to at least two Metro stations/lines, easy to reach all tourist spots and great walks in the neighbourhood. The apartment is clean, bright, well-appointed and charmingly decorated - our family was a couple with a 29 year old son/stepson - he used the back living room and there was ample privacy. We loved the pulley bed that comes down in the front room, and when it was up, the space was perfect for a dinner for five. Cooking is important to us and the kitchen is fully-equipped. Tracy was a most supportive landlord, helping us with all kinds of practical information. I wish we had been able to stay longer and would come again in a heartbeat.
