The apartment is located in the11th arrondissement, a quite large neighbourhood which goes from theBastilleto the historical Cemetery of Pere Lachaise, including also Place de la Republique. This district has been nourished with new life in the recent decades, and it is the seat of various design and graphic studios, making it one of the most promising areas regarding artistic production. One of its most important streets is Rue Charonne, adjacent to the apartment, where a lot of the most trendy nightspots of Paris are located. Meeting the requirements of its inhabitants, the Oberkampf area often offers high-quality rock and jazz concerts and gourmet restaurants with reasonable prices, since they are not part of the traditional tourist itineraries: the attractions of this neighbourhood ae notorious just to real Parisiens or to those who have the luck to spend part of their life in the district.

We had a great time in Paris during the ten days of our vacation and this apartment was definitely a key element to its success. The first impression of the common stairway could be deceiving, but once you open the main door, you are in for a pleasant surprise. It's truly spacious and charming, with a lot of character and a great floor-plan, properly furnished and most important perfectly located on a quiet street off the bustling Bastille area, very close to the subway and to a huge selection of shops, convenience stores, restaurants, cafes, bars, and so on.
Although fairly clean and decently equipped, we could have used newer and better quality glassware, dinnerware and pots and pans to be available, as almost everything there was quite battered and rather dirty. Also a microwave oven would probably be more practical than the conventional oven available.
All together we enjoyed our stay end would definitely rent it again.

a characteristic house furnished with refined taste, as a eighteenth century parquet, a marble chimney, located in a really cool area of paris. if you're looking for living a "parisien" experience, what's better than a chic flat in le marais?

The house is good, within town and comfortable except the use of stair case instead of lifts.
The response time and attitude of your staff needs to improve. It is expected that the apartments should be properly inspected, facilities status and functionality known and possibly worked on before entrusting to a guest.
Attitude towards money should be at the level of service.

This large apartment is very close to the Place de la Bastille and #8 metro line. It is well supplied with the gadgets and appliances necessary for everyday living. It faces onto the busy street of Charonne and can be noisy at night. It is convenient for a wide choice of restaurants, bars, as well as very good food shopping. The Paris Bastille opera is just 5 minutes away.

the pics taken give false feeling about the real space and condition of the flat. the sofabed is very bad horrible to sleep on it the kids were suffering you got to fix it by all means or remove it from the flat.
the check out was agreed to be done at 18:00 but we sent email to change it to next morning we left also a message on the answering machine, but they opened the flat while we were not there and made the check out without our attend and all our stuff still there. this really upset us privacy were totally not respected.
