Amazing studio loft 60m2 Port Royal

Welcome to our 60 square meter studio loft near Austerlitz train station!

Why studio loft?

Studio, because the living room and bedroom are one and the same room.

Loft, because instead of having low ceilings, this apartment has ceilings that are about 4m above the ground. The available extra vertical space results in a feeling applicable to much larger flats!

The other intersting characteristic of this original flat is the fact that it was designed by an architect largely influenced by boats. In a way, when you enter this flat you think that you are entering a boat cabin.

The layout is the following:

Ent...rance, then on your right separate WC and bathroom, then a little further the open kitchen and dining space.

At the end of the corridor you will find the bed/living room/office. There you will find an oversized double bed and as well a single bed. The sleeping arrangement makes this flat ideal for single travelers, couples and couples with one child.

This flat is equipped with all the facilities you may wish for: Internet (but no TV), Apple computer, dishwasher, clothes washer, microwave etc.

It is absolutely quiet because it is on the sixth floor (with elevator), has double glazing and is facing a court.

Cleaning is acted by a professional cleaning lady.

The calendar is up to date, last minute reservations are welcome!

  Beautiful, nicely furnished studio at a great location, on the 6th floor of a nice and old apartment building, with a spectacular view of Paris (including the Eiffel Tower and the Sacre Coeur). Our host Erik was very friendly and accomodating. A few shortcomings though: fairly overpriced, considering the fact that we could not check in until the end of the day (and we were only staying for 2 nights). The apartment was also a bit tacky and anything but clean, and the pile of old blankets provided did not keep us warm at night. However, Erik reimbursed us for the cleaning,and promised to make improvements.

  Thank you Rose for making the time for this feedback which is very valuable to me. The shortcomings you mention are legitimate and I am sorry things were not 100%¨perfect. As you mention I tried to make up for some of them to the best of my abilities.
  
  Future tenants: This was the first rental ever with this owner and this apartment, hence things were not as ready as they should have been for Rose.
  
  -Check in was not possible earlier but is generally flexible if there is no previous tenant
  -The blankets will be changed for warmer ones
  -An operating manuel for the heaters will be created and left in the flat
  -A full day of cleaning is planned before the next rental and particular care will be taken to get this right for each rental, like in all the other properties I look after.
