Hello everyone,
I am renting out my newly renovated apartment to visitors in Paris. A few steps away from the river Seine where you can have great food on lovely barges and enjoy a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower, the apartment is located in a very Parisian, very upscale and very secure neighborhood with an open-air market, one of the best bakeries in the city, two wine cellars, lots of shops, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants.

The best way to enjoy Paris and to feel at home at the same time! Warm, cosy and very convinient appartmet in the most safe and convinient neigbourhood. All the shops you might need are arrownd, also bus and metro stations. Marc was more than helpfull, he understood all our needs at once and made sure we had everything we needed. I am very gratefull!

Oh my gosh, this is an incredible apartment. So big for an apartment in Paris! So close to public transport and a very safe part of Paris. So nice to walk down the street to the train and be able to have the Eiffel Tower for your view! It was clean and warm. The lift is tiny but beats walking up stairs. There is a great range of patisserie shops, grocers etc. and an excellent frozen food shop called Picards right across the road! So cheap and great quality. Marc was an excellent host always happy to help. He stayed in contact with us eager to make our stay a wonderful one. And it was! Would stay again and would highly recommend you book here if you are looking for a great place to call home whilst you are holidaying in Paris.

I really liked my stay there.
A little different because the bathroom with the shower is separated from the one with the toilet but I think is something french.
But the apartament has many restaurantes options nearby and supermaket.

Our family had a wonderful trip to Paris and we loved this apartment. It is a convenient walk to 2 metro stations. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, directing us to a few jewels we would have otherwise missed. The neighborhood was safe and quiet, with numerous grocery stores and bakeries.

A spacious apartment for a family with a very nice view over the city. Perfectly clean with all amenities. We had a fancy dinner and the iron was a great bonus to make us look good. Marc answered our many questions and gave us very useful advice. Although it was a bit cold, the walk to the Eiffel Tower on the allee de cignes is not to be missed.
Before Paris, we stayed in another apartment in Rome and this one in Paris is so much better.
Definitely recommended, we will come back again! -

This apartment was exactly what we were looking for.
It was reasonable priced. It was on the 7th floor, which was nice as it provided a feel for overlooking the neighborhood. The flat contained all the basic necessitites. It was in a "non-touristy" location which enabled a more Parisian experience. The metro was close. An aTM was a few steps away. We could see the Eiffel Tower from the street, which was wonderful.
The owner was very willing to converse by e-mail to help assure all questions were answered as well as provide a good deal of helpful information. -

We stayed at Marc's apartment from 30 November to 4 December 2012 and had a lovely time in Paris. It is a pleasant walk from the apartment to the Eiffel Tower and metro station. There were 6 of us in the apartment (two kids, my husband and I and my parents who are in their 70s). My dad enjoyed walking up and down Rue St Charles everyday. We also enjoyed browsing the stalls that lined the road leading to the apartment. Its proximity to the best bakery in town was a bonus too. The apartment was always warm and cosy when we returned each night. Marc is a very helpful, accommodating person and he answered all our questions well (and that helped us save some money). We would definitely stay here again when we next visit Paris.

This is the first time we use FlipKey to find a place to stay and now will never go back to staying in hotels.
Marc was excellent and very easy to communicate with. He was very helpful in getting us to the apartment.
The apartment was in a fantastic neighborhood, it had a great feel to it and had some fantastic restaurants and cafes. It is also very close to a lot of the main attractions and has about a metro station just a few minutes away walking.
The apartment itself was nice, super clean, and spacious. We were 5 guys and we were able to be very comfortable.
We had a great time in Paris and a big part of it was due to staying at Marc's apartment. It allowed us to feel like real residents of Paris. If I ever go back to Paris I will definitely stay in this apartment. -

All the procedures, booking, check-in, check-out, and the return of the deposit, were done very professionally by Marc, owner of the apartment.
Any consult about the rent, during our stay, were addressed promptly.
Comfortable apartment, very well located in the 15th arrondissement, surrounded by markets, restaurants and shops, and near the Metro's stations to go anywhere.
Both the apartment and Marc, are highly recommended. -

My first time to travel to Paris meeting my sister and her hubby from the Pacific Islands. Not knowing the mid point of Paris, reading the reviews and researching over and over again and again, it was definitely the right choice to stay at Marc Laty's apartel. Obviously with the excellent expertise of Marc Laty and well participation and accommodating on our needs and wants. Perfect Location, access to the metro lines and bus lines, row of restaurants and not to mention the cleanliness of his apartel, it was definitely, home away from home! Loved IT! There's no doubt... I Will Return!!! Marc, you are an awesome host with great personality. You Must Stay Here When IN Paris!!!

has all the amenities you need (including bath/shower).
perfect location for walking to eiffel tower, with fantastic transport links for everything in town.

Great apartment with elevator! Very close to Metro and RER. It was very convinient to get to all of tourist attractions. This apartment makes you feel like a local parisian. We enjoyed fresh croissants and bread from a great bakery down the street. We got to experience their farmers market with great deals. I would definately recommend this place and Marc the owner was very helpful. Thank you again!

My husband and I, together with our four children, stayed in this apartment May 1-5,2012. Our pleasant experience started even before we arrived in Paris when we booked this apartment with the owner Marc. He was very accommodating and helpful with all our requests and inquiries. He speaks English well so communication was not a problem. The apartment itself is in a great location with metro stations and bus stops nearby as well as numerous bakeries, restaurants and supermarkets in the area. Two days a week, there is also a street market just below the apartment with plenty of produce and other foodstuff. When we arrived, the market was in full swing and this somehow added to our complete Paris experience. The apartment also has everything you need to cook simple meals and do some laundry. Very convenient place for a family. And as promised, the Eiffel Tower was just a short walk away.

Our stay was very pleasant - the apartment was fine for a family of 5 (3 children aged 16, 14, & 9). It's in a fabulous location - we walked to the Eiffel Tower after dinner, which was wonderful. Lots of restaurants, a street market, metro stations nearby. Marc was very helpful - he answered questions about the place, gave directions, told us where to leave our car. There was a problem with a bed, which he took care of immediately. I would definitely recommend the place - it was just what we were looking for!

Marc is a fantastic host, the apartment is in a very authentic Paris neighborhood and it is easy to get to anywhere in the region using the Metro, RER, bus, or simply walking. We would certainly stay here again if our travels bring us to Paris again. All the amenities we need were present and the restaurant recommendations and directions to sightseeing from Marc were very helpful.

As a first timer to Paris we were very apprehensive about making reservations with a homeowner. We had a lot of questions. Can we trust this person? Is this a safe district? Will we be wasting all our time figuring out how to get around?
With a little help from the internet and alot of help from the apt owner we had a perfect stay. The apt is very comfortable with very nice comfortable beds and blankets. Fully furnished with Wifi. I wouldn't call it fancy but comfortable. We were on the 7th floor over looking the neighborhood. Greatful for the elevator. We made friends in the local businesse. The neighborhood has an open market on Tuesdays and Fridays. Lots of fresh fruits veges, meat, cheap shoes and some clothes. You save alot of money eating in. That was a big plus for us. Nice wine shop, bake shops, cheese shops, beautiful clothes. Go to Micks for clothes and ask for Mary. She's wonderful.
I think I could go on and on but for review sake I would come back to paris and stay in the same place. This price was good and very accessible to all the sites. Very safe in the 15th district. I would recommend this apt to my family and friends traveling to Paris. -

My flight was canceled and I was in a bind, needing to check out at 12noon the following day with nowhere to go in Paris. I posted my plea on airbnb's short list and within the hour I got a response from Marc. We exchanged e-mails and I did sign up and stayed at his apartment near the Eiffel tower. That turned out to be the right decision I made because Marc really was the perfect host -- warm, friendly, helpful, accommodating, kind, responsive, precise and punctual, and a great conversationalist! Marc is a great guy! Really! And the apartment is just perfect, and big by Paris standards --situated on the 7th floor with a lift! It was very airy and clean with all the conveniences you'll need for a great stay. The area is filled with all sorts of eating places and just 5 minutes away from the metro. Fantastic location! I highly recommend Marc as your next host. I am quite sure you'll have a great time in Paris!

This apartment was full of air and light, spotlessly clean and exactly what we wanted. The owner's mum met us at the apartment and between her little bit of English and my little bit of French we were off to a great start! The apartment is situated in the middle of a warm and welcoming neighbourhood had everything we needed for the week that we were there. A fantastic street market operated on Tuesday and Saturdays which was an unexpected bonus. I would stay here again and would urge everyone to use a little French as the locals all appreciated it. A short walk to the Eiffel Tower and Seine and not a tourist in sight!
