A beautiful/cozy 1 bedroom fully furnished apartment with sunny garden (25 sqm) in a pleasant/green area "Statenkwartier" - within walking distance from the shopping lane Frederik Hendriklane. several Internationale Organisations like ICTY OPCW, World Forum, Peace Palace, new building Europol (2012) ICJ (2012) ect It is within reach of Shell, EPO, ICC, iCJ, embassies etc, It is a couple min walking to public transport to the city - The Hague. Also find you on a couple min walking distance the touristic (yacht) harbor with various restaurants/cafe, beach and sea from Scheveningen .

The very centraly apartments are located in the so-called The Hague international zone, in the border of the popular Statenkwartier area.
They are all within walking distance of the newly to be built World Forum Park near the World Forum Convention Center (formerly the Nederlands Congresgebouw) housing international organisations like ICTY, OPCW, (new building of) Europol, Eurojust (ready in 2012), Iran-United States Claims Tribunal, Permanent Bureau, Hague Conference on Private International Law (HccH). It is within reach of a lot of embassies, Peace Palace, ICC, Shell (main building), Shell KSLA, EPO, NATO NC3A, Orange, KPN, T-mobile, European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI), Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL), Europa Nostra, European Centre for Conflict Prevention (ECCP).
A various choise on public transport find you on a couple min walking from the apartment Even as the famous shopping lane Frederik Hendriklaan ("de Fred") with it's lifestyle shops, supermarkets, restaurants banks ect. Also the Gemeente Museum with the largest colletion Monderiaan, Museon and Onviversum find you on a couple min walking. Madurodam is approx 20 min walking.
On the other hand find you on walking distance the harbour and beach of Scheveningen with the nice bars/restaurants/boulevard. In the center of Scheveningen you find the Kurhaus, Casino and Cinema.

This is a very cheerful, modernly decorated apartment and close to trams and the Den Hague Holland Spoor train station via Tram 11. The apartment was very nice, clean, well decorated, spacious and included Wi-Fi, washer/dryer and kitchen eqipment! The stairs to the apartment are not many but steep for those who are not able to climb stairs. Beautiful plants throughout (though if you have allergies there is quite a bit of greenery in and outside the apartment). Neighbors are quite friendly and helpful. Trudy was a delightful woman. Our international train was late and we missed one on our way to The Netherlands and Trudy was very helpful and understanding and helped us along the way. Though we were asked to leave due to a scheduling mixup, Trudy made arrangements for us (at her expense due to the events going on in the city), to stay at a nice hotel that included breakfast and was actually closer to our locations of interest.

For travelers whose read this review. Cerissa and her husband have not stay in the ground floor apartment with garden without stairs so as advertise on Flipkey but in our other apartment on the first floor with balcony which have indeed a stair. -

What a perfect spot to be in the Hague. Close to public transportation, getting to and from city center was easy and efficient. The apartment itself was clean with all modern amenities. The kitchen was more than functionable and there is the Jumbo, a grocery store within a five minute walk. We were on the first floor where there is a sweet backyard. The neighborhood is quiet and you feel like you are "true Dutch" in such a wonderful neighborhood. Scheveningen is a quick walk/bike away.

We were welcomed by Trudy the owner, a lovely lady, who is honorable, fair, charming and decent.
She takes pride in her apartment and it reflects in the quality environment she has created. She pays attention to details, offering clean dressing gowns, amenities, coffee etc. for the weary traveller.A beautiful bouquet of white roses and orchids greeted us.
It was also great to be able to have a washing machine and dryer. The bonus was the lovely little garden and patio with furniture as well.I can without hesitation recommend this holiday apartment to anyone.
