Built in 1982 but recently renovated inside-out -- new appliances, new decks and siding which give this home a like charming ambiance.

The Sea Ranch is a world-renowned primary and secondary home community along a 10-mile stretch of California's most beautiful and breathtaking coastline. The Sea Ranch is particularly famous for its strict architectural standards, following the motto "building light on the land." (Houses intentionally have unobtrusive, modest appearance in order to optimally blend into the environment). Casa Pacis enjoys exceptional privacy. The Sea Ranch territory includes tens of miles of private roads, about 50 miles of hiking trails, three recreation centers that are open to renters (free or charge), and a challenging 18-hole golf course. Features such as no street lighting, fences not to mark lot lines but only to shield cars from outside view, no overhead power lines, no sidewalks, and no roof-top antennas clearly differentiate Sea Ranch from normal "suburbia."

Located directly above the Sea Ranch's most beautiful sand dunes, at a cul-de-sac near "Walk-on-Beach," and built to maximize views, this vacation home has picturesque ocean views from everywhere inside.

The "Casa Pacis" home has approximately 1150 square feet of rented living area, including a view loft. It features ceramic tile floors and wall-to-wall carpeting, as well as vaulted ceilings in all rooms. Large windows, comfortable furniture, a "grandfathered" conventional open fireplace, and decor will contribute to making your stay pleasant and memorable. The kitchen is small but well equipped with modern appliances, including a quiet dishwasher. Enjoy the extra-large deck area with built-in hot tub (with ocean view), and the overall uniquely private yet close-to-ocean setting.

Ocean meadow location, west of California Coastal Highway 1; 150 yrd from water's edge; cul-de-sac, no traffic, no highway sounds -- all you hear is the sounds of the ocean.
110 miles north of the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge, some 40 miles from the nearest traffic light. If you haven't been there before, the 40 miles between Bodega Bay and Sea Ranch may well be the most beautiful stretch of scenery you have ever traveled.

Rental rate is for two people. Additional charge of $12/night applies for each additional person above 10 months of age. Normal occupancy limit is 3 persons, but exceptions can be negotiated.

Additional base rent of $15/night applies for 22 December - 2 January and 25-30 November.

The beauty of the natural landscape is very pleasing and the meandering path along the ocean front is always an invitation to take a refreshing walk. The sunsets are awesome!   Casa Pacis is a romantic and peaceful place, with its wood-burning fireplace, private hot tub, and great view loft. We greatly enjoyed celebrating our Silver Wedding anniversary there and plan to return.
  
  Fabulous location with great ocean and meadow views, and excellent privacy. Quiet, secluded location very close to Sea Ranch bluff trail and famous Walk-On Beach. Comfortably furnished, well equipped and maintained. Wonderful places to sit and enjoy the view, read, or just be in the moment.
