The flat is located in the traditional neighborhood of Ano Poli Thessaloni, the only remaining part
of the city which preserves the air and the quietness of the old years. The houses are small, with red roofs and as this neighborhood is at the top of the hill, the view of the sea and Thessaloniki's harbor is amazing.
From there, it is only a few minutes walk to Hagio Demetrios church (Unesco Heritage monument), Heptapyrgion also known as Yedi Kule and the lovely Tsinari quarter where you can find many tavernas.
If you feel that you can not walk to the city centre (Aristotelous Square), there is a frequent bus connection (bus no 23 every 10 min, ticket price 0.80 Euros) to the city centre. The bus stop is across the street, just as you leave from the building exit
Moreover, you can catch bus 50 (CULTURAL LINE) which goes across the most prominent monuments of the city and offers a guided tour.
