Left on 01/10/2013 for a stay in December 2012
Our family of two adults and two teenagers stayed here in December 2012. We loved the apartment. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful, giving us excellent directions to arrive in a taxi with no trouble from the bus depot. The flat had lots of natural light and windows that opened for the breeze. The thermancy and aircon ensured we were warm for our entire stay. It was very clean and furnished in a modern style. The location is very central, just behind agia Sophia Church. The area is safe, quiet but busy until the early hours. The street has supermarkets, bakeries, cafes, and intimate bars.
The kitchen had enough equipment and supplies like oil, salt and pepper to allow us to cook great meals with ingredients from the nearby central market. There were maps and wifi making the planning our days a breeze.
We loved this apartment - and will return! -

Bergen, NorwayRelaxing, Great Location
Left on 12/21/2012 for a stay in August 2012
My wife and I stayed at Thessaloniki Central apartment for a full month. This was the best deal on a (truly) centrally located apartment that we found. The neighbourhood is very nice. The historic agia Sophia church is one block to the West, the Kamara/Arches and Rotunda are only about a five minute walk to the North-northeast. The university is a ten minute or so walk. The Tsimiski shopping Blvd is a few minutes to the South and the sea a few minutes further.
Despite this very central location, it was surprisingly quiet. The street is busy in the daytime but returns to a residential feel in the evening. The flat is actually right in between two main boulevards (Egnatia and Tsimiski). There are a couple bars nearby but they do not create the same level of disturbances as in England or North Europe. It also helps that the main bedroom is oriented towards the interior/courtyard of the building and the neighbours are largely peaceful. If you want to rent a car, parking might be a problem in the daytime, but we did not.
The flat has a large living room with an air conditioner, a main bedroom with a fan, another bedroom with two twin beds, a medium-sized kitchen with a table, a bathroom, and two balconies (one on each side). The living room is very nice, the main bedroom bed is a bit hard and uncomfortable. The twin beds seemed softer but I did not sleep on them. The furniture in the living room is very nice and comfortable and there is a desk where you can work in the corner. If I remember correctly, the TV got about 30 channels.
Vassilis takes good care of his customers and if there is something missing in the flat that you need, he will probably fetch it for you if the request is within reason. He brought us a little welcome packet of goods including a bottle of wine when he received us. There was also a fair amount of dry food left over in the house.
Oh, and one of the best things was the maid service included in the price once a week! -

Left on 10/18/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We liked the location of the apartment a lot. It is quiet, spacious and nicely furnished. We felt pretty much at home. One minor critical point was that there could be more pots and pans in the kitchen. But I strongly recommend this place.
Vassilis was a nice and helpful host. I forgot my belt and he send it via mail to me after we had left.

Left on 10/10/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We read so many reviews and made a lot of enquiries and then we found this great apartment for our stay for 8 nights in July 2012. Vassilis and his partners responded promptly to all my questions, put some delicious goodies in the fridge to get us started and were at the apartment to introduce themselves and give us lots of handy info about the city, the local restaurants, the buses and the local sights. Thessaloniki is a terrific city with many small local eateries where the food is extraordinary and this apartment is a perfect base for a small group to explore from. We were a party of 4 and were very comfortable. Thanks guys, it was great to meet you and you were wonderful hosts.

Vassilis and Nickolas were the best hosts ever~!
Prior to our arrival all E-mails/communication were responded to with the utmost quickness, and all of my questions were answered in detail, with suggestions provided as necessary. (5 stars)
Vassilis and Nickolas showed a genuine concern for our family's, (2 adults & 3 teenagers), comfort! If we ever needed anything,...Vassilis was there~! (5 stars)
The internet connection was great,... at least a 1.3MB/s download,...which is especially important when you have teenagers. (5 stars)
The location of was wonderful,...just walk out the door and everything that you need to see or do in Thessaloniki is within walking distance. (5 stars)
If there is anything I could stress to anyone looking for a place to stay while visiting Thessaloniki, is this: look no more; This is the place to stay to truly experience Thessaloniki!
The service, hospitality, dedication to customer satisfaction, and genuine concern provided by Vassilis throughout our entire stay was the best ever experienced in my entire life.
I will definitely be returning in the future~!
Cheers,

New York CityLovely place!
Left on 05/26/2012 for a stay in April 2012
The apartment is a cute, neat, well-groomed nest in the center of one of the most fascinating mediterranean destinations I've had the opportunity to venture!
Not only spacious and roomy, the place is beautifully located in the cultural core of the city. Nearly all of the city's attractions are within walking distance from the apartment. I literally walked out the door with nothing but my keys and my wallet, whether I was to dine at one of the numerous exquisite restaurants or simply walk by the newly redeveloped bay. None of the usual tourist inconveniences.
A great plus is the quite neighborhood that the place is located in, despite the otherwise vibrant and lively aspect of downtown Salonica.
I recommend this place over any hotel, the service is great, no technical problems whatsoever, and the people held true to their standards of Greek Hospitality! -

We had a wonderful 4 days staying in this apartment. We were met at the bus stop by Vassilis who was a perfect host, lovely and friendly and happy to help us and tell us about the city and where to find places. He had left us a welcome of strawberries and breakfast food which was a nice thought and when I left my bag on the bus, he went with me to the bus station and found it for me, so kind and helpful.
The apartment is clean, quiet and spacious with 2 lovely bedrooms, a separate kitchen and a bright living room with a balcony overlooking a traditional street with cafes and interesting little shops. Being on the 5th floor the street below isn't noisy at all, just lovely to look at from the balcony. It has a great kitchen, comfy beds and hot shower and the living room is spacious and lovely to come back to. There is a supermarket a few minutes walk away, a bakery with delicious bread and we went to a great restaurant Optapiri close by, the food was excellent and the staff warm and friendly. The apartment was a beautiful place to be, lovely modern and in a traditional Greek building (with lift!), with friendly people who greet you when you pass in the hallway, in a beautiful part of the city behind St Sofia Church and interesting buildings, and easy place to get around from. This is a great place to stay if you want to be away from tourists and have a taste of living where Greek people live in a very nice safe part of the city. A wonderful host, thank you! We shall return!

I'm so glad I found this apartment! It is the absolute best location in this beautiful city. I loved sitting on the balcony in the evening before going out. I also loved 'bougatsa' for breakfast from the hole in the wall around the corner. The apartment is so comfortable, and a great place to wind down after exploring the city. I really hope it's available next time I visit Thessaloniki!
