7 miles from Stirling and Callander, a stunning 4 en-suite bedroomed cottage, with 3 reception rooms with wood burning stoves and a large country kitchen with french doors to a dinning terrace. Within the secluded gorgeous gardens, with several seating/eating areas, is a separate barn with 2 one bedroomed apartments. Plenty of off road parking.

A stones throw from some of the best golf, fishing and walking in Scotland. One hour from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth, Corshill Cottage and Barn Apartments will not disappoint.

      Highly recommended

Left on 01/09/2013 for a stay in December 2012

Have stayed here on 3 occasions now (Corshill House and The Smiddy).
Accomodation is excellent; all immaculately clean; large rooms; good showers (and great separate bath in C House). Large living areas. The wood-burning stoves are great although the central heating is now more than adequate but they're nice to put on for extra cosiness!

There's a large private garden with seating areas but we were staying in Winter so didn't really use them.

The owners have always been extremely helpful and friendly, particularly when we took children and needed high chairs , etc.

Not really anything negative to say: perhaps it would have been nice for some pre-chopped wood to have been there for this stay, although there was on both previous occasions.

      Heartily recommended!

Thanks very much for your review and we are glad that you enjoyed your stay at Corshill again this New Year. Your positive comments are very much appreciated and we are sorry that there wasn't as much chopped wood left as usual. Unfortunately, we just ran out of time this year.

      So much room for everyone

Left on 05/24/2012 for a stay in May 2012

It was great to have the separate living areas for different activities and the rest of the house is very spacious and comfortably furnished. The bathrooms were a godsend with such a large group and we had several wonderful evenings round the large dining table. It was a shame the weather wasn't better for us to make use of the beautiful gardens, but we did see some interesting birds and a deer from the sun room. The only criticism would be the position of the dishwasher, we couldn't get past it when it was being loaded and one evening we got stuck in the dining room because the dishwasher door fell open against the door into the room!
Thank you for a lovely stay and we would love to come back sometime

We found Corshill Holiday Cottage beautifully kept and decorated. Its two sitting lounges and various spaces gave us many options as a group and the large dining table and well equipped kitchen encourages good dining.
Its location was such that various visitor attractions are not too far away and the beautiful scenery was spot on.

      A great find!

Left on 04/17/2012 for a stay in March 2011

Corshill Cottage was excellent, organising the weekend was not an easy task, but Carolyn was extremely accommodating when numbers kept changing and really helped ease my stress, so I can not fault the service I recieved.

Once we got there the cottage was beautiful, and the garden an amazing haven, a real excellent location for us, my only thing would be it is better for people with cars. All the bedroom were immaculate, and ample space for people to relax.

Overall I would highly recommend staying here, I know all of the party I stayed with would definitely stay again.

      Very tranquil and scenic

Left on 04/09/2012 for a stay in March 2012

Group of guys stayed with me and we wanted something spacious, cosy and quiet. This fit the bill perfectly. Stirling only 8 miles away so didn't seem to far from the city. We all would stay therer again and I got credit for the location so thanks to the owners for making us all feel at ease and welcome.
