River Villa: Three Rivers At Sequoia Park Entrance

The River Villa is a three bedroom two bathroom A-Frame house with a huge upstairs loft (fourth bedroom) on over 14 acres straddling both sides of the main fork of the Kaweah River. The River Villa is riverfront and has incredible Kaweah River whitewater views as well as stunning mountain views of the High Sierra including Moro Rock, Alta Peak and Eagle's Nest. The house is located approximately one mile from the southern entrance to Sequoia National Park. It is also located less than 1/4 mile from Mineral King Road which leads into the Mineral King entrance to Sequoia National Park (10 miles).

The River Villa comfortably sleeps 15 p...eople and has numerous amenities including a fully stocked kitchen, a dining room and a living room with 32 inch HD LCD TV with Dish Network and Sirius Music channels, as well as a fireplace (for use in the winter). Outside are a covered patio, two picnic tables for dining riverside, chairs for relaxing, horseshoes and a ping pong table. The River Villa overlooks an island for much of the year (depending on the river water level) and the whitewater rapid known as Bumper. You can swim, fish, hike and explore along our vast stretch of the Kaweah River. Due to its seclusion and location, the stargazing at night is nothing short of spectacular. There are stairs (steep) leading down to a beach immediately below the house (and lots of other river access and swimming and fishing holes on the property).

The River Villa has central air conditioning and heating, a new washer and dryer, high speed wifi and telephone with free local and long distance calling within the United States. Downstairs there are three bedrooms, each with a queen bed, overhead ceiling fan and large exterior window (slider with screen). Both bathrooms, the kitchen, living room, dining room, and laundry room are also downstairs. New carpeting and flooring were installed downstairs in January 2012. The kitchen has a new, quiet dishwasher and new French door refrigerator with filtered water dispenser.

The River Villa is accessed via a 1/4 mile long new private driveway (partially paved but mostly dirt) off of Sierra Drive. The home sits away from the highway and is private and secluded with plenty of parking and no highway or road noise (just the sound of the Kaweah River).Read more

Rates posted are base rates for 4 persons. Additional charge of $8 per person per day. Holiday base rate of $375 per night applies for Thanksgiving, Memorial Day and Labor Day Holiday weekends. 3 night minimum on Holiday weekends and certain special events.
