Monks Cottage is a Grade II listed, stone-built, detached cottage in the village of Threshfield, close to Grassington and Skipton. This cottage sleeps two people in one galleried king-size double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Great service picked keys up from pub next door ,very friendly ,shown us around cottage. The cottage it's self was lovely, clean, everything you could wish for, added bonus was dog friendly so our little dog Maisie came and was made welcome in pub next door that served wonderful food at a very reasonable price, everything was great loved the way it had been totally refurbished, and the bedroom overlooking the living area. Located in countryside but short drive to nearby villages. Loved everything about the cottage except think the dog could sense the resident ghosts !!

Situated next to The Old Hall Inn and one mile from the honey pot village of Grassington. Lovely Grade II listed, stone built cottage, providing excellent facilities and comfort. Unfortunately despite being located in one of the most scenically beautiful parts of the Dales, you are unable to enjoy the views directly from the cottage, or its little garden area, although it was possible to start a number of walks directly from the front door. The arrangement or the bedroom in the beamed ceiling of the cottage might present difficulty for people with mobility problems. Other than that the property would receive full marks and we would be happy to return. One significant bonus of being next to the inn was being able to sample its excellent food, hospitality and real ales - indeed it also provides cooked breakfasts.

We had a lovely time here. The cottage was gorgeous. The location close to Grassington and the dales was fabulous. The pub next door had a great atmosphere and served delicious food. Only downside was cottage was just a little too close to the pub and felt overlooked. Overall though I would recommend a stay and would visit again.
