This modern annexe adjoins the owner's stone-built cottage near to the village of Tintagel in Cornwall and has one double bedroom. The Garden Apartment is a delightful holiday property in the form of a modern annexe that adjoins the owner’s stone-built cottage. Situated half a mile from Tintagel in the little village of Bossiney on a smallholding of poultry and piglets, The Garden Apartment benefits from stunning coastal views. The accommodation consists of a comfortably furnished large and sunny open plan living area including kitchen, dining area and sitting area which opens out onto a private, enclosed garden that is a real sun trap... all day long. This charming apartment is made for escaping the stresses of life in this gorgeous West Country location.
Amenities: Electric central heating with woodburner in sitting area. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV, DVD player. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road private parking. Small patio with garden furniture overlooking owner’s smallholding. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and Post Office 0.5 miles, pub/restaurant 3 mins walk. Note: This property is not suitable for children (including infants).
Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
Town: The area around Tintagel is dominated by the sea, rugged coastline, secluded coves and incredible scenery. The town is famous as the home of the legendary King Arthur's castle, and the castle ruins still overlook the cliff side outside the town. Several beaches, the closest being Trebarwith Strand, are within reach and great surfing is also on offer locally. The South West Coast Path travels through the town and navigates along the cliff tops in both directions through magnificent countryside, then winds down to the sea's edge. 2.5 miles along the path is the village of Boscastle with its charming old fashioned quay and good village pubs. Tintagel itself offers several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office, a National Trust property that is well worth a visit. The popular surfing centre of Bude is 15 miles distant, and Bodmin Moor, Padstow and the fascinating Eden Project are all an easy drive away.

A very pleasant, peaceful and relaxing week at this cottage which had everything that we required. The owners were just next door had we wanted them.
Very nice to see the smallholding animals roaming about freely
Easy access to Tintagel and other North Cornwall resorts.

The cottage was very clean and well equipped, with more than enough space for two people. It was a nice touch to see a bottle of wine left for us, although some tea bags and a drop of milk would have been more useful! The lounge allowed us to spread out (a sofa each!)and the patio outside was quite private. Being so close to Tintagel meant we could walk to the shops, and having a bus stop next to the cottage was handy for our one way coastal walk (although buses pretty infrequent so careful planning needed).
The worst thing about the cottage was the lack of privacy when inside. Residents of the neighbouring cottage walked right past our kitchen window regularly, and the bathroom window was a patio door with no curtain, so we had to be careful when getting out of the bath, just in case someone had gone exploring next door! The best thing was a location right on top of the South West Coastal path. The views over the sea were lovely, and different each day
Lovely accomodation really pleasant stay

The apartment was lovely. The decor was really relaxing and modern. The garden area was great to sit out and enjoy breakfast or just a cuppa. The welcome was
very pleasant and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Great place for a bit of touring.

Wonderfully close to the coastal path. Convenient bus stop right outside the house to take a bus to Boscastle then walk back along the coast. Walking distance of Tintagel the other way.
Took us a long time to find the DVD player (it was a sideways slot in the flat screen TV). We didn't see the owners and weren't sure which house they were in. Off road parking was helpful.

Nothing was too much trouble. The owners were very friendly.
The accommodation was very clean, homely and quiet. We love Bossiney and spent our honeymoon in Ocean Cove Caravan Park.
The beautiful coastline never ceases to amaze us. Would and have recommended this apartment to friends. We have tried other areas but always return at least once a year, very dog friendly. Ozzie loves The King arthur arms in Tintagel.
