OrlandoLovely Garden Cottage
Left on 11/17/2012 for a stay in May 2012
My husband, granddaughter and I stayed at the cottage in late May. It was all we expected and more! Celia Keegan is a delightful hostess with a wonderful history she just might share with you upon request. The pub, a short distance away, is run by friendly people serving up some very good food. The whole area is a feast for the eyes and renewal for the soul.
When asked what the youngster liked best about Ireland, it was the first week there, staying in that cottage! Thank you Celia and Frankie! -

LondonA great week with great company!

I recently spent at week at the Garden Cottage and can safely say it was the most relaxing holiday I have ever been on. Set in a beautifully tended garden with stunning lake views, the pictures provided really do not do the place enough justice (and that's saying something!) The cottage itself is delightful, and comprises all the creature comforts you need for downtime, while the local area provides lots of routes for keen walkers to try out.
As an added bonus, the cottage's owner, Celia, is a real gem, and nothing's too much trouble for her. Not only is she on hand to recommend activities and places to go, she's also great for a chat, and her dog - Frankie - is quite a character.
I couldn't recommend Garden Cottage more highly, and will definitely be back next year. -

We have enjoyed several delightful breaks in the cosy Garden Cottage in recent years. The lovely garden is lovingly tended by the owner throughout the year and the view of the lake varies according to the time of day and weather; sometimes silver, or deep blue or grey. You will be assured of a warm welcome at Garden Cottage!

Garden Cottage is dream-like. Surrounded by lovely gardens, the field behind has wandering milk cows, the birds are thoroughly happy, and Celia is a delight. It's a walker's haven too. A nearby forest, tons of trails and lakeside adventures. It's an easy hike to Portroe or Garykennedy for provisions or a pint if you're not in the mood to drive to Nenagh. Thoroughly relaxing.

My wife and I have visited here on two occasions. It was a joy to be in the heart of this beautiful country, and to stay in this charming cottage.
We took walks along the lake shore, found a fantastic pub retaurant nearby, with traditional nusic and excellent food and visited many outstandingly lovely places.
The cottage has everything you need to relax and chill out and Celia Keegan, the owner, and friends provided excellent company.
