This cottage is conveniently located just four kilometres outside of the village of Tobermory. The main living area of the cottage is an open concept featuring natural wood work, cathedral ceilings and a wrap-around deck. The sitting area features a couch, loveseat and chair to relax in after a busy day exploring all that the area has to offer. What a gem! this cottage is absolutely fabulous, well equiped, well located, just a few minutes away from the little town of Tobermory.
We enjoyed being right on the water, canoeing, resting, biking and playing around...
The large hot tub has got a stunning view on the bay, especially at dusk.
We recommended the cottage to many of our friends who shall be able to enjoy it! -

It is such a great idea to be able to rent on line. Seeing pics and knowing what is available is awesome. The website is easy to use, and effecient.
I am sooo happy that I chose Hay Bay Haven as the place we would visit to encourage the blending of two families. My fiance and I have been looking for ways to allow opportunity for our kids to get to know each other before we get married. This was an amazing place for this to happen. It ended up that only our boys were able to join us, but that was perfect. They loved the crows nest and they stayed together in the loft. They canoed and kayaked together and explored the shoreline. They were pleased to be able to kick each others butts using the pingpong table and Xbox as well. We enjoyed the well-planned and well-equiped kitchen, and were pleased with the quality equipment available for our use. Also, the landscaping was well designed for any activity. There was lots of room for everyone to enjoy anything they wanted to do. It was peacefull. It was easy to get to and there is lots to do in the area. We would definately concider using this cottage again. Thanks -

Hay Bay Haven(Heaven)was gorgeous. Sunsets every night, beautiful sunrises. We have been going to this area for 25+ years. We had a trailer at Land's End Park,but the views where never this beautiful. The family wants to go back next year and for many years after. The cottage was far beyond what we expected. It was amazing. Campfires most nights,new visitors center and walking trail to discover and the granddaughter loved Singing Sands. We could not have had a more perfect vacation. Thank You

I have been using RentCottage.com for quite a few years now and absolutely love this web site for cottage rentals. What you see on line is what you get in person and more. This was our first time at this cottage and loved it. The hot tub was great. The kitchen was stocked better than home. It had all the modern ammenities to keep everyone happy including wi-fi. I would suggest that this is mentioned in the cottage detail online and that the password is given on the information sheet. Tobermory is one of the best spots in Ontario to visit. You never run out of things to do. Excellent choice of cottage.

An exceptional cottage rental situated on a small bay over-looking Lake Huron.Rentcottage.com does a fantastic job in it's description and amenities on its website.Our family has rented 5 times through their company and have always had great service from emails to online support for questions.Hay Bay Haven is exactly that..a haven. The ability to relax lake front, children friendly,quiet and of course the hot tub, are what attracts us to this property.Close to downtown but far enough away to experience the Bruce Peninsula.This is a must rental to get away for the week or longer.All the amenities of home.World class sunsets,star gazing, and the ability to watch storms come in off the lake are must sees.Our family of 5 have enjoyed this property 3 previous times with no complaints.A top 5 rental on this site !!

The location was excellent. The cottage was really clean and well equiped. The view from the hot tub was amazing!
The only comment would be that the spiral staircases are a bit difficult to negotiate. Anyone with knee issues, older or too young may find this a drawback especially with both bathrooms located on the main floor.
The main bathroom could use a bit of an update but was clean. Kitchen, dining and living areas were great! -

This cottage is a wonderful place for families or friends to stay. Its in a great location with the lake in your backyard. The flat screen TV and hot tub were a big bonus and we're already planning to return here next year. 5 stars for sure!

Cottage was wonderful came with everything we needed very private down the road was tobermoray main centre with restaurants,grocery store ,gift shops etc.Will return mite try a different cottage just to see different ones in the area.

Awesome place; quite and secluded, very private.The cottage was neat, clean, had most required amenities, excellent view of the lake from the cottage.
Since the weather was still cold in March, most of our time was spent in the hot tub relaxing. Kids had fun on the ping-pong table. Biking was fun too.
Excellent way to break-away from the city life for a few days to rejuvenate. -

Our family stayed at this wonderful cottage for one week in mid-September. The cottage was spacious for our party of 7 and our dog, but still cozy, warm and comfortable. The hot tub made the the chill from the cooler nights melt away.
Location wise, the bay was beautiful and perfect for kayaking, and being only a few Km from Tobermory was wonderful. Our family was able to go for short bike rides to make daily trips to the various shops and local attractions in town.
We had an absolutely wonderful, relaxing vacation, and couldn't ask for anything more. -

This was our first cottage rental of any kind and we look forward to repeating the experience. Everything was as outlined and the instructions and so on were clear. We had a fabulous, relaxing, quiet family weekend. We are grateful that people will rent their properties in this professional manner, when they are not using them. Great use of the internet to review and book one of these homes for a vacation. Leaving was hard.
