London ONPerfect Fall Getaway
Left on 10/19/2012 for a stay in October 2012
This is our second stay at Pendall Point Cottage. We love coming here in the fall as the cottage is so cozy and has everything you need. We come with our parents, so appreciate the spaciousness of this cottage along with 2 floors, and 2 baths, so everyone is comfortable. We have rented with rentcottage.com several times now, and find the service excellent. We have 2 dogs that travel with us, and appreciate the help we get to find a cottage that fits us, and our dogs. As for the Bruce, it is one of our favourite vacation destinations. We love shopping the shops in Tobermory, as well as hiking on the many trails around the area. Pendall Point is wonderful to come home to at the end of a day.

Torontoawesome thanksgiving weekend
Left on 10/09/2012 for a stay in October 2012
The cottage was great, More of a house than a cottage, which made it very livable. It was well equipped with everything we needed to cook 3 awesome dinners including thanksgiving's big meal.
The site off the back deck was stunning. We had some rough water and the waves and sunsets combined made for some stunning pics. The size was perfect for a group of older brothers and sisters to get together and still have room to not feel cramped.
My only complaint was the lack of sound proofing between the floors,, I was in the lower bedroom below the master bedroom on the top floor,,, That bedroom floor squeaked really bad whenever someone walked on it.
Beautiful place though. We all had a great time and we all got some really spectacular pics of the changing leaves all around the area.

Mississauga, OntarioGreat adventure
Left on 09/10/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Views from the deck and shoreline were wonderful. The cottage was lovely and very clean, everything anyone would need or could ask for. The shoreline is quite rocky and can be tricky when carrying a kayak. Water shoes are a requirement. Great time visiting and hiking Flower Pot Island and the Bruce Trail. Great vacation.

We have spent many years in and around the Tobermory and Bruce Penninsula area bicycling, hiking.camping and scuba diving.Having rented from this company before we knew the cottage would be all we expected and more.It was very private, neat and clean. We sat outside in the hot tub at night listening to the crashing waves and watching for falling stars(incredible starry nights). The kitchen provided everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. We forgot a few items when we left and the rental company was really nice and efficient at getting them back to us. We did not find all the games and cards in back bedroom untill our 2nd last night. The huge TV downstairs was great and the movie choices were not too bad.It is a bit of a drive to town if you forgot something at the store(but a beautiful one.We would definatly recommend this cottage.ttt

Cambridge, Ontario (originally from Chester, England)Supreme, best week up north I've ever had
Left on 08/30/2012 for a stay in August 2012
This cottage is simply extraordinary. It is very new and spotlessly clean, and has an incomparable view of Lake Huron from all of its west facing windows and, of course, the rear deck. It was an idyllic week in the cottage, so peaceful and quiet, just the chirping of the birds and the lapping of the water on the shore and that was all we could hear. The night sky was absolutely staggering. We could see the star fields, the black galactic dust clouds and the nebulas of the Milky Way, it was just mind blowing. There must have been millions of stars visible across the sky, seriously. It was a luxurious and extremely well appointed cottage which made for an extremely comfortable stay. We didn't want to leave! We highly recommend this cottage to everyone. Give it five well earned stars, for sure.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The cottage is laid out in a very functional way and easily accommodated our two families. There was enough room and enough activities to keep the adults and kids entertained even on rainy days. Thanks for thinking of everything!

This was one of the best cottages we ever rented. Great location, close to stores for supplies and the wonderful landscape. A great place to photograph the shoreline. A place you would not be disappointed with. Highly recommend and hope to return soon.

Left on 08/05/2011 for a stay in January 2011
We had a great vacation at Pendall point cottage. There was plenty of room for everyone with the two living areas. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable and the cottage was nice and clean. We had a fantastic time exploring the shoreline, which is amazing in the wintertime! The road was plowed and accessible and they came to plow the drive while we were there several times. The amazing album collection was a fantastic bonus! Cottage rental went very smoothly and the pictures were very accurate! I have rented through rentcottage before and will definately again. One recommedation is next time we will definately shop in Lion's Head on the way up as the grocery store in Tobermory has poor selection in the winter.

Left on 12/16/2010 for a stay in November 2010
Loved the location, sunsets where outstanding, hot tub was a super extra, especially in cold weather and the music selection fabulous - it was a lot of fun to hear original LPs!
Just wished linens and towels where provided - we traveled by air to to, so no fun to drag sleeping bags and towels along with us. -

We have rented several times from RentCottage.Com. This cottage/home was tucked away and private. We loved the beautiful starry night skies. The place had all of the essentials to have a great holiday. The two separate livings were great for Mom & Dad to relax in the upper level and the older kids to enjoy their own space on the lower level.

Kitchener, OntarioA very welcoming retreat.
Left on 06/25/2009 for a stay in April 2009
In arranging our brief getaway, we had terrific service from the rental agent who worked with the cottage owners to ensure we'd have a memorable and happy experience with them.
Our pets were welcomed too, and that just made it all the better - the whole family got to share in the fun. The cottage itself was very clean, cozy and modern. We really enjoyed having a wood fire crackling as we read our favorite books on the sofas. Our other favorite place was the glassed-in balcony and hot tub where we could marvel at the scenery of Lake Huron, water birds, the stars at night, and even a visiting wild turkey on occasion.
The cottage was private even though there were neighbours. It was easy lose track of time sitting down by the shore listening to the water lap against the rocks - many of which were riddled with interesting fossils.
Thank you for a great getaway. We would love to come back again! -

Waterdown, OntarioFantastic Dream Cottage for R & R
Left on 02/05/2009 for a stay in May 2008
We spent a relaxing fantastic week at Pendall Point cottage in Tobermory. We had vistors here from Scotland and they stayed with us. We have 3 children 3 yrs, 5 yrs and 11 yrs. They all enjoyed this cottage. So much space and all the mod cons! There was lots to do in the area! We went on many hikes, played at the local beaches and took a boat tour to see sunken ships from the local village...it was perfect. Kids loved it!!
The cottage was at the water and at night we left the door open to hear the waves and we slept better than we had in years!
we were pleased to learn that the pictures online matched the home. It's actually nicer than the pictures! We'd definitely recommend this cottage - especially if you're bringing kids and want to spend a lot of your vacation at the beach and hiking. We hope to be
back next year. Some advice is the shower in the basement is much more powerful then the upstairs. If you want to relax and enjoy a clean, large beautiful cottage on the water than this is the place for you!! ENJOY!!! -

The description of Pendall Point on-line was exactly what we found when we arrived. The property was peaceful with a private water front and a beautiful view. The cottage......a better word for it is a home...had every comfort and space for lots of people and pets. My wife wanted a holiday where she could hear the waves hit the shore at night and have room for two other couples, along with our family, and allow pets. This was a tall order but Pendall Point was all that and more. If our schedules permit, we are returning to the point and if we win the lottery we plan on buying the home.

This cottage was instant home to us! We rent every year and this was the best ever!Fantastic view from the large balconcy. Big, clean (and useable!) hottub. Outdoor furniture that was new and useable - a first for us! Great open concept, with so much space! Did we mention that everything was SO clean! Amazing sound system with a great selection of music left in the room. The picture and info from the website was true to the cottage - actually even better in reality. The patio on the beach was a perfect place for coffee in the morning. Great area for walks. Most lovely neighbour! If we didn't switch locations every year, we would choose this cottage every time!!

This was the best week ever!. So relaxing, and very romantic. The hot tub on the deck was greatly appreciated after a long day. We wanted a relaxed, hassle free honeymoon destination. And this cottage fit the bill. We browsed the local shops in Tobermory, and spent a day on the island. What a Great honeymooon!
Can't wait to visit again, this time with our new family member!!!

Place was lovely. Bigger than we expected. We had a great time. We loved walking on the rocks but I would think it wouldn't be great for swimming. Since it was Nov. that wasn't a problem. We would love to rent it again.
