Cottage Profile Compact, two bedroom, 900 square foot waterfront cottage conveniently located at Indian Harbour on Lake Huron. A five minute drive to all the activities that Tobermory has to offer, in a quieter setting. The interior of the cottage is finished in pine panelling for a traditional cottage look. Large windows on the lake side of the cottage provides a view of the water from the comfort of the cottage. The main living area of the cottage has a large field stone fireplace as the focal point. We had a great time at sunset #271. Me, My girlfriend and my sister and brother in law have rented for a week or multiple weeks in the tobermory are through this service for several years. Somewhere new each time. I particularly love waterfront, The only thing it was missing for the other travelers in my group was a hot tub. Otherwise, for four adults it was perfect. A nice distance for a bike ride to town, or the bakery at the end of the road.

Please thank the owner of the cottage for keeping it in such good shape and caring about the people who rent it. It is a tribute to him. And thanks to him always adjusting the cost for a month's stay in late august and September. It is very much appreciated and will certainly keep me coming back.

I cannot say enough positive about my stay each year, It is my restoration.

Perhaps some newer deck chairs and bedroom lamps?

Sunset and Breezes was very comfortable. Great location, only 5 minutes from Tobermory and great bakery at the end of the road. Right on the water, looks just like the photos.

Peace & Quiet

My wife and I booked this cottage last minute on a Thursday for Sunday check in, which we thought was fantastic. When we arrived and entered the cottage, it was exactly the way it looked in the photos. This cottage was excellent value. We read a previous review about how it was perfect for their older dog and our older dog loved it as well, being able to wade in the water easily. Everything in the cottage worked and it was very well kept. We will be looking at booking with this firm again in the future. This cottage was a deal!

Aptly named

Sunset and Breezes is a great name for this cottage. While I'm not so sure about the breezes, we witnessed and took many photos of some amazing sunsets.
Everything worked as it should, and everything was great. Had a terrific holiday. It flew by too fast though :)
I would have to think long and hard to find fault with this cottage, but if there was anything at all it would have to be that the deck was a little too narrow for the patio table that was on it, and with no railing, it created the danger of slipping a chair leg off the edge, and having a tumble.
Highly recommended for a great stay.

Beautiful area

The cottage is situated in the perfect area. It is right on the beach and a very close drive into Tobermory. My family and I liked that we could hear the sound of the water all day and sit out on the huge deck to watch the sunsets. The cottage is small but well equipped and has everything you need for a weeks stay.
I think the decor could do with an update and it could do with a good thorough cleaning but besides that we were very happy and would return again.

Well Equipped Cottage

Most well equipped cottage we have stayed at on the Bruce. Even has a coffee bean grinder. We forgot to bring our own and were pleasantly surprised that the cottage had one.

out of the way retreat

The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. The view over the lake was lovely and glorious sunsets could be viewed from a deck on the beach. The shore was flat and rocky but fairly private.
We visited in the off-season wanting somewhere quiet and out of the way so, for us, it suited fine. The nearby town of Tobermory, where we had to go to buy drinking water, was also quiet but is probably really bustling with lots of activities in the summer period.
We would visit again.

Having spent the month of September in the little cottage next door the year previous, I knew I needed to take my husband for an unexpected treat.

Being from the area, I knew what was in store, but him, being from Colorado, hadn't experienced surroundings such as these. He was delighted and amazed. Sunrises and sunsets were spectacular, especially the sunsets out on the water in kayaks. Forays into the area's destinations were enough to make him want to go back.

The cottage was terrifically comfortable, clean, and complete. The people we dealt with were most professional, but warm, and truly wanted our stay to be the best possible.

I plan to be back many more times to soak up the tranquility.

cozy and warm

we rented this spot to accommodate our old dog. the site is flat rock and level landscape. it was a wonderful place to be. we befriended a visitor in the adjacent cabin and frequented Tobermory (by bicycle) everyday. the day trips were outstanding and countryside spectacular! the cabin itself was quite comfortable and equipped with almost everything necessary.
were it not for the fact that there is so much else to explore in the world, I'd go back to this place every year!

The cottage was exactly as it looked on the web site, was clean and fully equipped - it even had a roasting pan to cook our Thanksgiving turkey! It was private and sunsets were beautiful, and we really enjoyed the fireplace. The well water isn't drinkable, so take your own, and when I rent again I will take a cheap shower liner, as by the end of the season the one that was there was stained (but still clean).

It was one of our best vacations ever.
