Cottage Profile Clean, comfortable, newly constructed cottage with quick access to the shore for those looking for the best in cottaging!No musty smells. No leaky windows. No dated carpets and panelling. This a cottage that was recently constructed and meant to be a permanent home so it's clean, solid, fresh, and comfortable for all! It just happens to be located on 3 acres directly across the street from a west-facing shoreline (with easy access) that offers spectacular sunsets." With hardwood flooring throughout the living area, this space is a comfortable place to relax in the leather couch and loveseat provided. In the evening unwind in f...ront of the large high definition television; a DVD player is also provided. Or play the assorted board games provided. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all the amenities necessary for cottage living including stove, fridge, and microwave. The dining room table will comfortably seat all six in your party. There are three bedrooms at this cottage. One is located on the main level of the cottage, and has a Queen bed in it. A four piece bathroom with both tub and shower is also located on the main floor. It features heated floors for those of you who choose a winter rental or just want warm feet on a tile floor. The second storey of the cottage is where you will find the remaining two bedrooms. Bedroom two has a Queen bed, while bedroom three has two twins. This room also has a small TV and VCR with a box of VHS movies for those rainy days. A two piece bathroom is conveniently located on the second storey of the cottage. Outside of the cottage, there is a wraparound deck that provides a perfect place to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. The outside deck also has propane bbq, a necessity for your outdoor dining! A fire pit is provided for small fires in the evening, so that your group can enjoy family time around a fire, and experience a cottage tradition. Please confirm with the local authrorites concerning whether a fire ban is in place during dry times. The shoreline access is two lots down the road, and once there a boardwalk will lead you down to the water. You will be accessing this boardwalk from another cottage. You will be free to use this boardwalk whenever you'd like, but please note that the owners of the cottage and boardwalk will be using it as well. Because you are using someone else's property and shoreline, please be respectful of their property and their privacy. The cottage is fully winterized, heated by a propane furnace, making this cottage the perfect winter getaway for skiers, snowmobilers, or just a romantic getaway shared with that special someone. Tobermory is short distance away (9 km). You can stroll through the shops, visit the library, restaurants and see the beautiful natural harbour. Scenic boat cruises to view shipwrecks and lighthouses are available daily and a trip to Flowerpot Island is a must for all who visit! Dinner cruises aboard the Chi-Cheemaun are also very popular and if that's not to your liking, there are many places to eat in town where you can watch the beautiful sunsets and converse with friends. Don't forget to try the ice-cream! For hikers, naturalists and scuba divers, the area is a dream come true. Guided tours along the Niagara Escarpment and the shores of Dorcas Bay on Lake Huron are available a 10-minute drive away. Amphitheater programs presented at Cyprus Lake by Parks Canada staff are informative and entertaining for all ages.

  Was promised a hottub but was not their when we arrived.Was promised to be installed all week but never showed up.After fighting with renter ,all we got was 150.oo refund.Was not happy,should have been informed by them about the hottub before we arrived .

  We regret that the hot tub's electrical system malfunctioned shortly before this renter's stay. It was then misdiagnosed by the hot tub repair shop, such that it took several weeks, as opposed to a few days, to repair. This was beyond our control and we offered a $150 refund without question to all renters impacted by the hot tub's unavailability, including to those who never intended to use it during their stay. This was consistent with the policy of rentcottage, and we are confident that no renter had to "fight" with their staff to obtain the refund. We take pride in maintaining a beautiful, clean and comfortable cottage, for ourselves and our renters. We hope most people would not be deterred from enjoying the cottage and the fabulous Bruce Peninsula by an equipment failure beyond our control, and unrelated to the cottage itself.

  We were pleasantly surprised with this rental. Although not right on the water it was open and airy and had a lot of room for the kids to roam. The location has some nice points to walk to that are close and on the water. One downside was airflow in the house but again we were there in the height of the 2011 heatwave.

  i love this propety!! was on a nice private lot, very clean and well decorated. The only thing i was un happy with was the waster had a bad smell of sulfur when showering. We had a great week end!!
