Cottage Profile Lovely three bedroom waterfront cottage located on the shores of Warner Bay on Lake Huron. The ground floor of the cottage has a large main living area boasting cathedral ceilings, pine paneling, maple furniture, a gas fireplace, 26 inch television with satellite receiver, stereo with CD player, DVD Player,and large glass windows facing the lake. The process of renting this cottage was nearly flawless, very accurate description of facilities and lots and lots of excellent photos...so there were no surprises.
The cottage has everything , the kayaks, bikes,golf clubs,big BBQ and more were an excellent addition to the great cottage and location.The cottage owners have gone out of their way to ensure you will need for nothing. Our only wish would be Wifi and at least one queen size bed. -

Our experience in this cottage was great. Everything worked as expected and described in the site. The service from Rentcottage, as always, was excellent.
This cottage has everything to make the stay very pleasant - many different spaces that give privacy, fantastic views from the lake and sunset. The lake itself has very easy access, gets deep quickly and has flat rock entry.
We had a perfect week there. -

My family enjoyed the cottage coziness and the boats but had some issues with the cleanliness of the BBQ and the fact that the previous rental didn't leave any propane in the tank. We felt the owners should have reimbursed us for the fuel...and at least an apology.

This cottage was great - clean, quiet and well equipped. We loved the gas fireplace (even though it didn't really get very cold in the evenings), we loved the giant barbecue (and used it every night), and the view from the upstairs balcony. The neighbours were close enough if we needed them, but not intrusive, and Tobermory was the perfect distance away.
Being from a big city, the only thing that bothered us was the incredibly flimsy locks on the doors - our bathrooms at home have better locks than these! All in all a great place to stay, and we'd happily stay here again - but maybe with more people, it was way too big for 2 of us! -

This is quite a nice cottage and our stay was great. We rented for 4 weeks in total over 2 separate summers.
The cottage is a bit rustic but is nice. There is a separate main floor bedroom with bathroom which was nice for the grandparents.
There is also a large upstairs family room which is great for kids to sleep in and play if it happens to be rainy. Never was for us!
Warner Bay is great. Smooth rock shore great for the kids to play. Fairly calm water for kayaking and swimming. There is a sandy area at the head of the bay which was a short walk for the kids as well - they spen alot of time playing there. There is also a great frog pond across and slightly down the street to the east. The land is owned jointly by the local cottages.
Ten minutes in to Tobermory and all of the great activities there including swimming at the lighthouse or great snorkelling or diving. Great whitefish to eat as well at Craggies or the Fish Shop.

We loved:
-the layout: lots of separate space so six people had private spots
-the kitchen:very well equipped; we enjoyed cooking for 6 for a week
-the sunsets: gorgeous
-the water: crystal clear and beautiful
-the decks
-the BBQ
-the kayaks
-the birds
-quiet
Not so much:
-water access is rocky (I'm a diver!)
-neighbours very close (but non-intrusive)
We would definitely go back.
