Long Lees Farm cottage was in an elevated position commanding wonderful views. The cottage was comfortable, warm and welcoming - a home from home. A welcome package greeted us when we arrived with lots of basic needs but also a few treats. The owners were friendly and helpful but not intrusive.
For walkers, the area was 'a must', hills and dales or along the canal for a more gentle stroll. Shops, pubs and restaurants were a short drive away and the cottage was in easy reach of many historical places such as The Bronte Museum, Skipton Castle and York. I would highly recommend Long Lees cottage to anyone and would certainly use it again myself.

Our main reason for our visit was to visit and photograph the East Lancs Railway, which we can thoroughly recommend.
The cottage was very well equipped (the only thing missing was a coffee maker/ cafetiere) and very comfortable. A good shower and a downstairs cloakroom were very welcome too.
The cottage was well placed for visits to Manchester, Bradford and Blackburn, as well as trips across the moors with great photo opportunities and views. We can really recommend the Hepworth at Wakefield - a superb building housing some wonderful sculptures.
Good local shopping at Hebden Bridge, where we also walked along the canal.
This is a very well equiped Cottage with views over the
canal. With in easy reach of things to do. We just loved
our stay and the owners were so friendly snd helpful.
Would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage.
