We have stayed in all three accommodations at Chesterman Beach. Each has its own characteristics that make for a delightful stay. The cottage is excellent for a very comfortable retreat. The kitchen is terrific, and there is a wonderful table to sit around and enjoy whatever great food you put together! The bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is great. Todd and Lynda did a fine job remodeling this cottage, and we have really enjoyed renting it for extended stays. (The date of stay is the last time we stayed it the Cottage. We have rented in three times.)

Have had multiple stays at this amazing bed and breakfast. I had never stayed at a B&B; before, and didn't like the aspect of sharing any living space, but this isn't that at all. All 3 units are completely separate, so its like having your own private vacation home on the beach!The views are amazing, this is the primo beach site, and its all only a few feet away, whether to beach comb, surf, watch surfers, have a campfire, or walk to the world class Wickaninish Inn just down the beach for dinner or drinks.
Todd and Lynda are the most knowledgable and gracious hosts to this West Coast Paradise,and have numerous contacts in Tofino to set you up with whatever sightseeing adventures you so desire. It really is a joy to see such unspoiled coastline, without all the overdeveloped trappings that most beach destinations seem to have.Out of all the places I've been , it is my most favorite, and the place that I can always count on to relax, unwind, and rejuvinate.

It can be a challenge to find upscale accommodations that are child friendly , yet romantic and private. The Garden Cottage is a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for privacy, comfort, and a quiet sleep just steps from the beach. The cozy bedroom has a big queen bed covered in quality linens. There's a pull out sofa in the living room for a family, and thick luxurious towels to pamper anyone. The cottage is just minutes from town if you are looking for a restaurant or any of the many cultural, whale, or bear watching tours. Our grandson especially loved the bear watching tour and the First Nations canoe trip to Meares island. He left Tofino with such great memories and photos he will treasure forever.
If you prefer to settle in for the evening and cook for yourself, there is a full kitchen and dining table. Dine inside or on the little outside deck within the privacy of your own fenced garden. At sunset take your glass of wine down to the beach and sit in the beach chairs and watch the surfers as the sun turns the beach pink. Such wonderful memories of starting the day , standing on the steps down to the beach, coffee cup in hand, and watching the morning sun dance on the rolling waves as surfers in wetsuits gathered on the beach.
Whether you are looking for privacy and relaxation or bringing a small family in search of outdoor adventure on the Pacific coast, the cottage is a wonderful base. Just steps from the beach, minutes from town, and yet a world away. If you have any questions or need suggestions, you couldn't be in better hands. Todd and Lynda know the area and restaurants well and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and make your stay perfect. .
