Nestled amoung Alder and old growth Cedar trees AlderView House is your perfect getaway for a relaxing and peaceful holiday in Tofino. With vaulted ceilings, the main entrance of the house opens up before you with spacious living and dining areas and a full kitchen that meets all of your culinary needs. There are 2 bedrooms on the second floor each with a queen size bed and a loft bedroom on the third floor with a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom. After building CedarView House we looked for another property that would suit our needs for an additional vacation rental home. The lot we chose was a beautiful 1 acre forested property that met all of our criteria. Located midway between Chesterman Beach and downtown Tofino our AlderView House location was perfect. Because of the size of the lot we were able to build the house well back from the main road and provide a peachful tranqill setting for our vacation rental guests

All Statutory Holidays rates including Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Easter and Victoria Day are $350.00/night plus 5% GST (3 night minimum).
Christmas Holiday rates are $350.00/night plus 5% GST and begin December 21, 2012 through January 2, 2013.
PLEASE NOTE: We do offer special 1 and 2 couple rates during low and our spring/fall season. Call for details or check our web site at www.viewwest.com
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation and the balance is due during your stay in Tofino.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
LOW SEASON & SPRING/FALL SEASON - Your deposit, less a $50.00 cancellation fee will be refunded if notice is received a minimum of 30 days prior to your reservation date
HIGH SEASON & STATUTORY HOLIDAYS- Your deposit, less a $50.00 cancellation fee will be refunded if notice is received a minimum of 60 days prior to your reservation date.

This house was beautiful, they brought the west coast indoors! We were there in cloudy weather and didn't have to turn on lights until evening because there are so many windows! It was right on the main road but not noisy, it was not on the beach but honestly we didn't mind that. We did go out in the hot tub quite a few times to see the stars, it was amazing how many were visable even though we were surrounded by trees! The house itself is big and open, the kitchen and living room give plenty of room to move around. The couches do not fold out but are good for short people to nap on! I found the house very clean, I was a maid for many years so notice how clean places are, this is one of the only ones I have stayed at that I felt was honestly very clean! We did find the bedrooms very small, not much space between the bed and the walls, but were grateful that they were queen beds not double! The washer/dryer was really nice to have. The loft is really nice but not recommended for those with a fear of heights, the view is terrific! We also found that we could not watch TV when people were going to sleep in the loft because the sound travels so well in the house that it is much louder in the loft than the living room, we in the living room could not hear the voices but those in the loft found it very loud (surround sound speakers are up by the second floor).
I would definately recommend this house to anyone looking for a beautiful affordable home away from home.
