We like the home because it is just right for our family to gather, have their own space,and enjoy the lake, the wildlife, and each other. Hiking trails are close as well as stores to buy that item you may have forgotten.
The dissapointment for me is the fireplace, not much flame there.
Being able to sit at the huge windows and enjoy the sounds of Superior and a cup of coffee, priceless. -

We had a relaxing and fabulous week! We enjoyed the home and all it had to offer! The deck was wonderful and the easy lake access wonderful. We could find no fault with the place other than we had to leave. There was nothing we would consider missing at the house. It was well stocked and everything was easy to find. We we all able to relax and unwind and escape our normal routines for one week!!

I love Pointavu and plan to go back. The view of the lake, the amount of natural light that gets in, and the spacious accommodations made it perfect for my group's reunion trip. It is fully stocked with every possible kitchen gadget, which was very useful since we did a lot of cooking. It was very clean and welcoming and has lots of little ammenities (games, Dvds, books) I will return!
