Relax in comfort and experience the warmth and charm of central Portugal at Camping Redondo, a picturesque two acre chalet and camping haven close to the historic city Tomar. A choice of scandinavian style chalets or stone houses which can accommodate from 4-8 persons.
4 Wooden chalets (Scandinavian design/Portuguese timber) – Chalets Oliveira, Bella Vista, Mimosa and Pinheiro.

There is something infectious about this area of Portugal and using Camping Rodondo as a base to explore it is absolutely ideal. Cut and Paste all my comments from last year and add the ringing, unconditional endorsments from the new friends we bought with us this time and you start to get some idea of the standards of hospitality you can expect to receive.

Nothing was too much trouble and the biggest problem we had was trying to stop Linda and Carlos doing too much for us. Fantasically relaxed with all the amenities you could ask for the bar is exceptional value for money - and make sure you get to eat some of Linda's food at least once during your stay. The surrounding countryside is full of hidden gems that can be difficult to find without local knowledge so make sure you ask - if Carlos doesn't know - it doesn't exist.
Fantastic! if you have never been to Camping Redondo - go there, if you've stayed there you will stay there again. -

Loved this little campsite near Tomar, Portugal. We stayed in their small caravan, which was ample room for a couple, but would be very tempted by the chalets next time, or even camping! Site beautifully kept, washrooms far cleaner than average campsites I have been to! little bar for drinks, coffee & snacks. All you could want nearby. Massive beautiful lake closeby, great for swimming! Not too far from the coast to visit for a day (with car) which we did - Nazare, very nice, amazing beach.

This is an excellent and characterful campground in a beautiful scenic area. The hosts are very knowlegable about the local area and the camping has a sociable yet peaceful atmosphere.
Gorgeous location, great bungalows, lovely pool, bar and friendly donkeys!!!
