Reserving the home was easy, great owners. The home was perfect for my family, husband, kids, mother and sisters. There was plenty of room for all us be together for meals and games, yet enough room for us all to have privacy. The location on the beach was ideal for us. We were close to shopping and restaurants. We all loved being right on the beach for enjoyment from sun up to sun down.

We felt so comfortable. The owner gives wonderful information about the house and area. I loved leaving the first foot prints in the sand on my walk in the morning. We made good use of the beach toys too - kites, horse shoes, body boards, sand toys, etc...The dolphins put on a show for us every day. Everyone in my family found shark teeth but me, although a collected a treasure of shells. Sun rises and sun sets were amazing! Everything I needed to cook for my family was there and we enjoyed our times around the table. Wish we could have stayed longer and can't wait to go back.

This is our home away from home, every year we spend two weeks, or more. the perfect vacation on an island where you just want to relax. Nearby cities if you want excitement, but laidback, no hurry time if you want. Maryann's place is the perfect size for a small family, cozy and perfect. Thanks Mary ann, for letting me find you!!!

This was our honeymoom. We love the beach..we love the house.. it's amazing to sit out on the deck and listen to the ocean and then go down the steps and be just a few feet from the water..
Have stayed at the beach many times but the location of the house to the ocean was amazing. The owners are awesome to rent from! Very nice people. This was a very easy rental transaction and we plan on revisiting for many years to come. -

Everything written about this home is what you will find. We loved this home. My husband and I stayed for a month and our daughter and teenage grandchildren came to visit for the Christmas holidays. We all had a wonderful time. It is hard to describe the feeling you get when you walk inside and experience the real peace that is felt. Located on a small lake, there is no noise. It is an oasis in the middle of a very alive and thriving community. Restaurants, shopping, movies and of course the beach as well as nature walks in state parks we close by. But as soon as you came "home" you felt the quiet and peace wash over you. It was a wonderful vacation and we highly recommend this property!

Took my family there 4 years ago, and have been at the same place every year since, If you need to relax, theres no better place to relax and enjoy some awesome waves and scenery,The weather has always been perfect. The house is always clean and in perfect order when we show up. It really is heaven on earth.

" A childless vacation this time. We looked for sharks teeth of course, soaked up the sun and played in the water on a tube & bodyboard. Favorite things: perfect photos of tons of wildlife swimming just off shore at the house; the sound side beach, . Even went to Wilmington for a Redneck Comedy Dinner boat Cruise.
We love spending time here and consider this : "our" 'home away from home'whether we come with or without the kids. I thank you for opening your door to us to experience your home. "You're simply the best! Looking forward to next year.

Ocean Front, Huge screened porch, Washer and Dryer, Close to grocery store, the pier and shops,plus a great price! What more could you want??
The house is roomy with large kitchen with dishwasher and eat in bar. I love the living room with its huge window looking out on the beautiful ocean. Also the screened porch viewing the ocean is perfect for moring coffee and watching the sun set.
The cold shower outside on the boardwalk it great to rinse off before entering the house.
We have been going to Topsail Beach for 30 years and "The Beach Escape" is the perfect place for us.

We always look forward to their return and their reports on fishing and other activities.
"We love your Beach Escape!! Being ocean front with its own private deck & beach access makes it so easy to "hang out," and not worry about our "stuff", You are the most pleasant "hosts" I've ever dealt with. You both make us feel so comfortable and at home. I could do a live commercial for your wonderful "get away." My family has been going to Topsail for many years and we were so glad to have found this hidden treasure".
Wanted to tell you what a great time we had at the beach!!!-Granny had a great time too--when she couldn't be on the screened porch she would sit and look out the windows.
The fall fishing was really good--we caught a lot, but only kept a few flounders and pompano to eat--the BIG news is I caught a HUGE black drum right in the shallow water of the surf!! It's the biggest fish I've ever caught and from what the "fishermen" said on the beach its the biggest black drum caught in the surf out there---I WAS EXCITED

This home was exactly what we were looking for and more. It exceeded all our expectations for cleanliness, warmth, beauty. The rush of the waves drew us to the shore to experience not only the water, but the smooth flow of the dolphins swimming by and the pelicans in their glory. Make sure you bring a camera as the sunrises are spectacular and the sand is so soft. Mother nature leaves lots of shells and smooth stones for you to examine and retrieve. We loved everything about our stay from the time we initially contacted our hostess until she confirmed we returned safely to our home.

We came to: Renew + Refresh + Relax .We were so content in this house we didn't go out much. Favorite highlights was watching the dolphins-they came so close to shore. We walked on the beach, took loads of pics, went to Christmas mass, enjoyed the friendly faces on beach, grocery store & at church; and relaxed, relaxed, relaxed.
